I thought they did a good job before and during the move, but was really disappointed after the unload in my new place - there were a few pieces that had been damaged in the move, and I had to repeatedly contact them to ask them to fix the damage, as stated in the contract. I got one email early on saying they were looking into it, and then nothing. I followed up with emails and phone calls to them, but got no response. Very frustrating. read more

DO NOT USE! Had them scheduled for 7/31/21, they claimed they forgot some of the equipment to be able to complete the move, assured us they would bring the remaining items to our house first thing the following morning free of charge due to their error....but they never showed up. Have tried calling 8x over the last several days, sent emails, and they have ignored all of it leaving us scrambling to figure out how to finish the move. read more

DO NOT USE FANTASTIC MOVERS! They are everything less of fantastic. I'm so disappointed in my last move experience with them. I have used them 3 times and the first 2 times were great! However, this last time I was moving approximately 50 miles from place to place. I had a confirmed move time of 9am, I receive a phone call stating they are having truck issues and we would be delayed in the move. I was unhappy but understand these things happen. After calling and following up with owner ALL DAY and being told it would just be another hour or so, a 2 man team showed up at 6:30pm... The team was great, but this was more than a 2 person job. The movers worked hard and I jumped into help because we needed to get it done. These guys worked so hard and completed my move at 4am! The owner Jim then called me for payment at 4am! The movers let me know that Jim did not contact them to do the move until 4:30pm that afternoon (as we were loading). When I spoke with Jim to arrange for payment. I asked him about this, and I was told it was an "internal decision." Additionally, I told Jim that I tipped his guys appropriately, but he needed to take that off his bill because of being over 9 hours late. One of the movers forgot a tv and brought it to me that evening, come to find out, Jim agreed to take the tip off my bill but then tried to deduct the money from the movers hourly wage. SHADY! Do not use this company unless you want to be lied to and treated poorly by Jim. His movers are amazing, but he is as shady as they come. read more

The gentlemen who came to move our belongings were very efficient, careful, and courteous. Ours was a small job (just moving some large pieces of furniture around in our house) that took an hour. Every other company we looked at required a 2-hour minimum, and this one was willing to do our small job and provided excellent service. We confirmed with Fantastic movers the day before to come at 10:00 for two hours to empty a storage unit into a U-Haul truck. They did not show up, so my husband and I started at 10:00 without them. At 10:15 I texted to see if they were coming and was told that they got held up and would be there in 30 minutes. A little after 11:00 they called to say they were on their way. They arrived at 11:55 and we were nearly finished but the two helpers loaded a few heavy items and were finished at 12:07. 12 minutes of work. Their supervisor, Jimmy (on the phone), asked for the payment code. I asked for a pro-rated rate since they were basically 2 hours late and we had loaded the van ourselves. He said he needed the code in order to initiate that process. After giving him the payment code he said that the job was a two hour minimum, and I would have to pay the entire amount, but I could have an hour of work in the future as compensation. I don't need an hour of work; I now live out of state, and in any case would not want an hour of work from his company. He essentially lied to me and then blew me off. First off, this review is for the overall move/communication with the owner and not indicative of *most* of the movers that helped with our move. We hired Fantastic Movers for a cross country move. They were quick to respond, gave a price and came out to confirm we needed 2 trucks. Moving day comes and 4/5 movers are masked and great with the one Lone Ranger deciding he's above it all and even helping himself to my master bathroom toilet for some throne time without so much as closing the door all the way. But hey, they have literally all my stuff in their possession so I roll with it. Day before move comes and I hear from the driver that they will be a day delayed because one of the trucks broke down halfway and they needed to move everything to a single truck. Okay- glad everyone is okay, one day delay and able to use half the space- worse things have happened. Day 2 of delayed move and the driver calls me... "Oh s&%^ I messed up man, I'm at least 10 hours away." How can you miscalculate so epically that you drove across the country in the wrong direction?! At this point my wife and dog are forced to hotel up and leave kids with family for what is now unexpected night 2 away from our things. East coast dog friendly hotel in the middle of nowhere on same day notice for 2 days = $$$$$. The owner EMAILS me saying they'll drop price slightly and pick up the hotel. Moving day FINALLY comes. 9AM window turns into 9:45 so I decide to call the driver... "Oh s%#$ I slept in, I'm so tired." Once again, filter must remain high when someone has a truckload of your worldly possessions. Eventually, things are unloaded. Come to find out I was credited less than 8% of the overall move after a 3 day delay, 2 nights in a hotel and the use of 50% of the paid for trucks. Owner never honored his deal to cover costs of hotel, only griped that he wasn't making money. I have tried to reach him over the last week, but have been ghosted. Life is too short to chase this more, but DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Wishing the guys that helped load all the best, but every other experience with this "business" has been excruciating. read more

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE 1 STAR REVIEWS! THEY ARE ACCURATE! I wish that I had read more of the "1 star" reviews, as they are completely truthful and upsetting to boot. From start to finish, their services were disappointing. My complaints are as follows: - did not provide the supplies I'd requested (clothing boxes, bubble wrap) - I was able to have them pick up both items on their way, which caused them to be less than timely. - When they arrived, one mover handed me the bubble wrap, which was for their use so as to wrap my artwork. So, I paid for bubble wrap that they didn't even use. - One of the pieces of artwork (a painting), because it had no bubble wrap, was dropped and the glass frame shattered. The mover just looked at me and said, "Sorry." - There were suppose to be 3 movers. Only 2 showed up. -This caused a delay in the moving process. - Large pieces of furniture should have been handled by more than 1 mover. - A large bookshelf was carried by one mover, he lost control of the dolly and it slammed into the front closet leaving it scuffed and off track. - boxes were labeled for their proper rooms. All were just put in a big pile in the living room. - As they "finished,", one mover just stood around talking with me while the other completed a 2 person task. After the other had finished, he came out and found that there were still items (artwork, television...) that had not been unwrapped from the blankets. So, that took another half hour. - Joshua attempted to call me once regarding my concerns and then never followed up. This was almost 2 months ago. I have contacted the company at least 2 times per week, to no avail. Let it be known that I have never given a bad review at this level. Please, do not hire this company, unless you want to waste your time writing a negative review and being utterly frustrated and dissatisfied. read more

My moving experience was as good as it gets! Will and Jackson were friendly, careful and very efficient. They arrived with a fully equipped truck and very quickly loaded my belongings. VERY AWESOME how this company's time starts when the crew arrives at location and ends when the truck is empty, definitely more affordable that way when its a local move. We had an estimate where their guy said they could get all our stuff into 1 truck and move in 1 day. The price seemed reasonable so we didn't get other bids. After that we disposed of a dining room table and chairs plus two large sectionals on line. Despite the reduced work, they needed two truckloads and couldn't get everything on so we had to dispose of some things and leave some. Then they wanted more than double the original price. Wow. These folks promptly answered my inquiry and were very helpful with any of my questions. The team showed up on time, with an extra hand (wonderful surprise) and moved all of my belongings into their truck in 25 minutes!!! Their speed was crazy! Do not use Fantastic movers. They are not only unprofessional but they do not uphold ethical standards. After a move from Denver to Glenwood Springs I am seeking to sue on several accounts. 1. Personal property was damaged and the promise to repair it has been disregarded. 2. Deceitful business practices resulted in the compromised disassembly and assembly of the same expensive headboard and bed frame. 3. Movers were very late and not able to reach the destination as planned. 4. An hour spent cleaning the tar from the movers shoes off of the floor and 5. The original estimate was for four movers at $200 per hour.  Only three movers at $175 moved us.   Details: · In the process of the move a bed rail was scratched and damaged.  This is a large wood veneer piece that is an integral part of the look as well as the structure of the bed.  I pointed out this damage.  The Boss was called and a promise to pay for and repair the damage was communicated to me.  To date there has been no compensation or plan for repair.  I have called and emailed concerning this numerous times but there has been no response from Fantastic Movers.  Cost to repair is in the range of $250.  The resale value of the bed is significantly reduced due to the damage even when repaired. · When making the bed the weekend of April 11thI discovered that the bed was out of alignment.  This was the result of the bed not being properly taken apart, missing hardware and, due to the missing hardware, the bed frame was put together with substituted short screws taken from the back side of the headboard. What should have been used were the large bolts taken out of the frame when the headboard was taken apart.   These bolts held the tailboard to the side rails and provided the support the structure of the bed frame requires. · When fixing the alignment of the bed we found that the internal hardware had been stripped.  This was due to the Movers assembling the bed without the proper metric tool.  When loading the household in Denver I was told that they did not have the right tool and that they were waiting for the appropriate tool to be delivered.  The tool never came.  The wrong tool was used to unscrew the bolts resulting in the stripped hardware. · The bed was reassembled using small screws. The long bolts that originally held the tailboard to the side rails are missing, lost by the movers. If a child had jumped on the bed as it was constructed the entire leg or tailboard could have cracked. This bed cost $5,000 five years ago, the primary reason we wanted professionals to dismantle, move it and assemble it. · At the completion of the move I was NOT advised that the hardware was missing and that a hack job was done to get the bed reassembled.  Clearly this was a move to mislead and to hide negligence on the Fantastic Movers part.  Estimated movers time disassembling and assembling the bed 2 hours $350. read more

They lived up to all that I had hoped for. The stayed in communication with me through out the process, the gave me a fair quote and delivered on their promise to exceed my expectations with customer service. I sent over what I needed to have moved and they gave me a price range for the bid. They showed up on time and got right to work. They hustled from the time they got there to when they left. They were positive and upbeat the entire time. They wrapped almost everything to protect my stuff and took special care to not bump into anything. I had to make them take a break to eat and they got right back after it. When the job was completed they cleaned up. What they quoted for the job was accurate and they completed the job on time and for what they said it would cost. I highly recommend Fantastic Movers and will be suggesting and recommending them in the future. My wife and I have a Real Estate company and we will share our wonderful experience with our clients when they need help with local moves. I am a fan! read more
