After reading reviews, I found Blade. It is run by a family and it is a warm, welcoming salon with wonderful staff. Gail did my hair, and it was one of the best haircuts that I've ever had in my lifetime. HE is GREAT at what he does, not to mention he is also an awesome person. She asked me how I wanted my hair done and then cut it exactly how I wanted it. I was super pleased and got an extra business card to share. They're open 9am-5pm, Tuesday through Saturday. On Tuesdays, they offer Senior discounts. They don't accept credit cards so I paid in cash. They are definitely my new go-to salon. I don't use hair color but they do offer it.

During the time I have gone here, I do not believe any stylist has lasted more than about six months. The stylist you go to can be very hit or miss. Some seem as if they are right out of cosmetology school and this is their first job. Others seem like they have recently moved to the area, just want to get a foot in the door and then go to some other more established salon. The stylists are usually pretty nice, some are chatty and others just want to do their work. The salon itself is clean and the prices fairly reasonable. They always have loud music playing.
