I went in with a picture like she said and she cut my hair so short and ugly. It looks like it was done by a two year old. The owner tried to fix it and made it a smidgen better. It will take me a couple years to grow out. Nobody wants to go through the holidays. The girl with the accent near the front window. I'm 60 this is the worst hair cut ever in my life. Cynthia was my stylist , it was my first time going to her. I explained what I wanted and showed a reference photo and was given something entirely different. I walked in with dirty blonde hair and walked out with a botched balayage that was brassy and uneven. My money pieces were chunks that were yellow and mixed in with brown, it was not symmetrical at all. When I left I was unaware of how bad my hair actually looked and when I sent a message to reach out about how unhappy I was she basically blamed my hair for being "dry" and already "damaged" which was beyond untrue. I stated I had to pay a lot more to receive a color correction from someone else and she said that my hair originally needed a color correction and my hair was already ruined when I came in but never communicated that when I was there. She said she would have liked to fix it but there was no way I was going back when she ruined my hair and made it extremely dry and brittle. Then she continued to state that my hair was already damaged before she worked on me. Overall, communication was very poor. If she wasn't confident she shouldn't have done anything. She was also in between clients and I was very rushed for my appointment. Extremely disappointed in my service and the response I got when reaching out. read more

Reagan did a FANTASTIC job on my highlights and hair cut!!! I hardly ever go to any salons anymore because it always seems like they don't listen to me and inevitably mess up my hair. I like my hair to look really natural and not have streaky or brassy highlights. I visited Krista at Fleur Salon on June 8th. I needed a haircut/style for my white coat ceremony and she did an awesome job. I scheduled my appointment at 2am using yelp which was very convenient and easy to use. I saw Krista late afternoon on the same day. I was a lil hesitant at first because I'm usually picky with stylist and never met Krista before. However she exceeded my expectations. She was amazing, answered all my questions asked me pertinent questions to ensure I'm using the right products for my hair. I showed her a picture of what I would like and she went above and beyond to make sure I look my best for the evening. She's very thorough and great communication skills. Really horrible place. Nightmare-worthy experience. This place will not listen to or deliver what you ask for even when you are crystal clear and have photos. I received a botched haircut, unevenly cut and highly layered/ feathered by Caitlyn even though I asked for a trim and long, light layering. She messed up bad so she brought over another stylist who made it worse and finally the owner came over and wasn't able to do much except cut off even more hair and feather it to the point where it just frizzes out. And I have straight hair. I was there for 2 hours and had 3 people trying to fix my hair. The layering is so uneven and so excessive. One side is far longer than the other. One side is way more layered than the other. I have random pieces shorter than others and it's such subpar work I'm probably going to have to cut off more inches just to fix it because the layers are jagged and rough. I came in with healthy hair that only needed a trim and lost 3+ inches. The owner Alex lied to me and rushed her work because she had another appointment waiting and sent me out with a horrible uneven haircut and actually got attitude with me and blamed my hair for being too straight to work on. Unreal. Such an immature way to deflect responsibility and try to make me feel like I somehow share responsibility in this catastrophe. She's the one hiring hairstylists who can't do even the simplest cuts. To make matters worse, she is refusing to correct the situation. I got ahold of her to let her know that I was still unhappy with the haircut and she actually said she was "scared" to let me back in the salon. Even though I was nothing but polite at the time but she's mad because she couldn't charge me for such an awful haircut. She dosn't want to own her error. She dosn't care about her customers. Her demeanor instantly changed and she got really nasty with me when I expressed that I didn't like my haircut (in a calm demeanor). The cherry on top is when she called the POLICE on me and filed a false police report telling them that I threatened to burn her salon down. This is a crime. Alex is a nasty person and the lengths she will go to intimidate rather than correct the situation is unbelievable. She does not care about her customers or believe that she needs them to leave happy. Horrible business owner. Unethical, unhinged and greedy. Please avoid this place at all costs. Also don't let the reviews fool you. The only reason this salon has survived is because Yucaipa dosn't really have any other beauty salons to compete with. This place is nothing special and she hires inexperienced stylists to charge $50/cut. And she will go crazy if you don't like the result. read more

Long story short Jennifer double booked me, so instead of getting a chill vibe, (considering I was making a drastic change), I was rushed Bc she had someone in the process of getting their hair dyed. She didn't tell me before hand, I was called and told an earlier time was available and I was like great. I wouldn't have gone knowing she only had 30 minutes (which she set on her phone timer) to be done w me. She didn't even style it after she finished, I was waiting for her to do something when she goes "oh did u want some curls or something?"...I've never gone to a place that doesn't style it after a drastic change. Now that I'm home and can process my new hair, I'm realizing she gave me exactly what I didn't want.... Basically the Karen 2.0 hair style. Short in the back long in the front. I wanted carefree layers not "let me speak to your manager" hair cut. I should've known not to go to her when she rudely told me "I'm not giving you two haircuts" after I explained I might want to go shorter after I see the initial chop (I had long hair and wanted short hair).... I didn't care if I got charged more, I wanted what I wanted? She made it seem like no one would ever do that. So I called Super Cuts and asked them the same question I asked her. They said no problem we'll stop cutting when I say so for $35-45.......she clearly just didn't want to because her priority was the girl before me. I just want to say that Mable is an expert hair colorist. She really impresses me!! This was the second time I came to her. She gave me a perfect weave the first time. But when I came in after Covid with uneven multi tone colors in my hair due to me using a frosting cap and trying to do my own roots for a year and a half, I was a little bit embarrassed for Mable to see my hair! Yikes! However she was very gracious about it. She gave me an expert weave to even out my mistakes and now my hair has never looked as awesome as it does right now! I do not like to write bad reviews but I feel like this salon did not care about new customers. I called and made a apt and explained that my hair can be difficult to color and would need extra time. The day of my apt I called to let them know I would be 10/15 mins late. The front desk person Stephanie spoke to hair dresser and informed me that would be fine. I then get a call as I was two mins from the salon letting me know that I neede to hurry because they had an apt right after mine. I was only 10 mins late at this point. So now I feel like my apt will be rushed and what if there was an issue with my hair like it turned orange? They left no room for error for a FIRST time customer. To make it worse I did inform the girl my hair can be difficult to color. So to me this means they do not listen to guest needs, which is extreamly important being it is my hair. Needless to say I canceled my apt right there. Now I am an understanding person but when I called they should of told me I could not be late, instead they told me it was ok( when it really was not) .
