Melrose is great! I love my brows! She kept them thick but cleaned up. I especially liked how she filled them in with pencil to show me where I needed to grow them out a bit. Super cute salon. Clean. So I'm going to leave two stars because I do think that melrose is very talented and my review in the past was 5 stars. I would not have left a review if it was handled properly with an apology. To start off I had an appointment for brow wax at 10:30 I show up 5 mins before to the doors being locked the girl who answered the door looked confused so I told her I have an appointment which she says very rudely we lock the doors. Not hello welcome thanks for coming in. Than proceeded to give me dirty looks as I waited. Melrose texted me after 10:30 saying I am running behind- no I'm sorry no acknowledgement that I took time of my day to be there on time and she was running behind. No apology and to be honest I could have waited little bit longer but to have some one of your staff give dirty looks is not my idea of a good time I just wanted to get out of there. When I texted melrose about my experience she didn't even apologize. Not a good way to run a company and treat existing clients. Also ones that I have referred to her. I'm all about supporting woman in business but this was handled not good. Simple apology would have gone along way. This salon offers SUCH a wide variety of services and a wonderful staff! My mom went here earlier this year and got permeate make up done by Melrose. Now, my mom has never been tattooed and actually doesn't even wear makeup every day. Melrose worked so well with my mom, giving her so many options and really listened to what she wanted and needed. The end result is so beautiful, and subtle, and just perfect for my mom. She got her eyebrows, eyeliner, and even lips done. Now my mom looks stunning 24/7 and I legitimately get jealous when I go to her house and see that she's just woken up, in PJs, and looks amazing! Now today, I went in for a facial (they're running a special - so make sure you book an appointment this month!!!!) and Jaime helped me. She was so kind and knowledgable about my skin type. I have dry/oily AND sensitive skin and she was able to give me such amazing service and recommendations for my skincare regime. The shop is SO cute, and really spacious. For my facial I was in my own private room with Jaime. Just from looking around though, I can see that they also do nails, hair, massage, and even spray tan. This salon is beautiful! The owner Melrose, greeted me with a warm smile and offered me a drink along with a tour of the salon. There were several other stylists and they smiled and said hello tpp. I didnt feel so intimidated. I had two favorite places that I saw. One was the shampoo area which was totally closed off from the salon, it smelled minty and fresh. The lights were dim and there was soothing music in the background. My second was the facial room which was just like the shampoo room. :) Both vvverrrryyyy relaxing! Melrose was my Esthetician and she was very knowledgeable in skin, she helped me understand and she really targeted some of my problem areas. My skin looked and felt beautiful! I have to mention that I loved how she rubbed aroma therapy in her hands and had me inhale. That relaxed me instantly. She had a gentle touch but my skin very clean afterwards. She is great! I also received a wash and blow-dry from Julie. She was so friendly! She gave me such a relaxing shampoo and scalp massage I just closed my eyes and listened to the music. As she "prepped" my hair hair, (I wanted volume...lots of volume) she talked to me about the products she used along withhow I can achieve this same look at home. I really appreciated that :) I love that there are healthier alternatives out there for my hair and skin and the products sold here help you achieve that. I came in here today to do my hair by Baily Welch 6/6/2017 ,it is my first time here to do my hair appointment. I was scared and a little nervous today cause it's so hard to find a good hair stylist now days ,but Baily made me feel at ease and very comfortable and relaxed. Baily, explained everything that she did and how she was going to do everything and more. Baily is very cheerful, very friendly young lady who has great customer service and she is in style with all the new colors and styles that are in . I've been with my stylist for years but she is just too far away from me these days. So I started looking for a new place closer and came across Salon Tranquility. Boy am I glad I did. The staff was super friendly. Gema did my hair and she did a fabulous job. I was looking for a major hair color change and she helped me decide on what would work best for me. The shampoo room was so relaxing and peaceful I could have fallen asleep. The staff didn't even mind that I had to bring my 2 little ones in. I will definitely be back. read more

Unbelievably disappointed!!! I found this salon online and the reviews were great. As most of the reviews state, the salon is very nice and the staff were friendly. I was excited to find such a beautiful and relaxing salon with so many amenities like massages and facials, so close to home. Unfortunately, that's were it ended. I have been coloring my own hair for years, and it's recently become too dark. I came in to have my hair slightly lightened from very dark brown to a medium brown. I made it clear that I did not want the result to be "warm" or red and would rather keep the dark color than have red. The first attempt did not change the overall color (except for the brassy red roots), and cost me $100. The second attempt resulted in all over warm red and dark brown roots. Typically when you return for a re-do, there is no charge. Nope!! Round two cost me $120. My stylist, Gema said if my hair color was too red, then I could come back and she'd add some ash to tone it down. So 3 days later, I told her it was way too red, and I'd like the ash added. She said my hair was too processed now after 2 treatments and too porous to add any more color; that it would fade very quickly. She advised I needed to wait until my root touch-up before any more color was added. While I understand the explanation, I'm also very unhappy with my hair color. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the color as it's very red with brown roots, and reiterated that I stated in the beginning I did not want to be red. Since she was not willing to correct the color, and I was very unhappy, I requested a refund (for at least the second round). My request was denied. I waited a week to see if the stylist would contact me and try to make amends, but nothing. Before posting a negative review on Yelp, I went into the salon to talk the owner or manager to try and get this resolved. The owner was with a client, and I spoke to another stylist who was there when I had the second treatment. She was familiar with my issue, and I explained why I was there. I did not yell, or make a scene in the salon. I went over everything calmly and advised her I had spent $220 and my hair looks terrible. It's exactly what I did not want. I again requested either the ash be added, or I'd like my money back for the second treatment. I was again denied!! I was told my hair would not hold the color due to the processing but if I wanted to try a third time, I could pay for it again! And no refund for the work that was done! SERIOUSLY?!?! Now I'm stuck with red hair and dark brown roots that cost me $220! Obviously customer satisfaction has no value at this salon. I'm very disappointed and would caution anyone who is considering spending money here. read more

Always get my color and cut done here. The girls are thorough and inviting, I always leave feeling fantastic about my hair. The girls are well-learned in their product line and the main products they use (Euphora) are fantastic! I have always had a hard time finding products that won't weigh my hair down because I have thin, fine hair, but I use these products almost daily, no problem. I always have Julia Jean do my hair, but I would trust any of the other girls just as much! I have also had a massage with Melrose, the owner. It was first massage, so I was a little nervous, but that all dissipated when I went into the room because it was so calming and relaxing. read more

I have not had an opportunity to have my hair done here-yet-but I have visited the Salon twice now for a full body, deep tissue massage by Jamie. She did an excellent job. I love that her products are not scented, nor is the Salon, so I don't have the allergies issues I have had in some other places. When I can I plan to try her facial/massage package. My sister, who lives in Calimesa, recommended the Salon and Jamie and I drive half an hour so I can go there. Everyone else has been nice, as well as friendly. I went to Melrose at this spa for severe neck pain, and a pinched nerve. I had to call of work the pain was so bad. I was also taking pain medication. After 1 hour of her working on my neck the pain was 90% gone. The next day I literally had no pain. Wow I have always used Chiropractic treatment for pain this bad, but from now on I will call to get a massage from Melrose. She is excellent. I highly recommend her. read more

This salon offers so much, one could probably spend a whole day there! I can only speak for the massage- Melrose is the owner (fairly new this year) but the salon has been there for years. She has a great resume of experience and I could tell. She has great hands and the essential oils she used were so relaxing and soothing. This salon is very well kept and professional. They stock the Demalogica products- very high end! Their menu is pretty vast-massage, hair, nails, facials, and permanent make up.
