DOROTHY completely butchered my hair today. Not only that, but she was incredibly rude and…read moreunfriendly the entirety of my appointment - not sure how or why she is in a managerial position. She acted like I was inconveniencing her by coming in for my appointment the second I walked in the door. To preface, my hair was all one length, no layers, upon coming in for a trim. We agreed on trimming one inch off. After she was done trimming, my hair was very noticeably longer on one side. After respectfully bringing this to her attention, she said it's because "I have a cowlick." Not once in my life has my hair ever been cut unevenly because of said cowlick. I continued to express that my hair felt/looked longer on one side and communicated that I was uncomfortable with it. Dorothy then said, dismissively, "It's level, I made sure of that. It looks level to me." Finally, after saying for the THIRD time that it's uneven, she trimmed some off on the side that was very visibly longer, and had an attitude while doing so. She then removed my cape and walked up to the front register to wait for payment without even making sure I was happy with my hair and service. My hair is still uneven - it's about 5 different lengths throughout. And the front is considerably shorter than the back now, and not blended at all. Because she was so unreceptive and dismissive the first couple of times I mentioned my hair was uneven, I didn't feel comfortable saying anything else, so I paid and left. The entire appointment lasted all of about five minutes, and cost $21, before tipping. Once I got to the car and looked at my hair, the unevenness was even more noticeable so I went back in to ask for a manager (this was before I realized she is the manager). I was hoping for someone to take my concerns seriously and at least level my hair out, or blend it. After learning she is the manager, I told her I wasn't uncomfortable with her fixing my hair considering how unfriendly and rude she'd been, and how dismissive she was when I expressed my unhappiness with my hair, and asked if there was another resolution. She told me I could have a card for a free haircut, and that she'd "prefer I use it at a different location." She was also huffing and puffing, rolling her eyes, and making faces during this entire exchange. This is a manager/establishment that does not care about the quality of their service nor the happiness of their clients. They completely lack professionalism and customer service skills. They are only interested in taking your money and doing the bare minimum. I don't know why someone so miserable and unpleasant would ever go into a field where you are meant to be providing friendly customer service and helping people feel good about themselves. My hair looks absolutely awful.

I had even explained to this salon that I want a hairstylist similar to the Master colorist I had at Ulta. This salon lied and told me that they do have a master colorist and an experienced hairstylist. The hairstylist I got was a very young lady who only had 2 years of experience of being a hairstylist and who did not know what she was doing. Not only did she not wash my hair, properly (after putting the color on me), but then she also did not even colored all of my roots (as I had specified in my initial phone call with the salon). I had mentioned all of my concerns to this front desk lady, who was smirking and giggling silently. Nobody was concerned enough to talk to me as a paying customer and it was very obvious that they only care about getting money. The owner of the place did not talk to me, at all. There seems to be no customer care in this place. Very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this salon at all

Both ladies who did my hair (I'm terrible with names) did a fantastic job. My hair is super curly, and even the most experienced people struggle with it. Both services were done well with care. It wasn't just a run to the finish line. They actually cared about doing a good job. Both services were priced EXTREMELY well. I'm used to paying about $300+ for the keratin treatment that lasts a while. This was well below $200!
