One good thing about this store is that there is always someone available via live chat to help you through your buying process. I connected with Lea via live chat last night and she was very helpful in guiding me through the purchasing process to make sure my store credit was applied at checkout. Pros: - This website has a myriad of beautiful gowns to choose from - Fast, free shipping - 24h online assistance available via live chat Cons: - Very strict no cancellation policy that is discreetly posted on their site - Only 3 days to request an exchange, which then becomes a final sale - Absolutely no money back even if you contact them right away before your order is processed - Horrible phone customer service associate - Lots of sold out gowns to sift through

I'm 34B and this dress was made for someone who has at least double D and a swimmer's back. It was a final sale so I'm stuck with $150 useless dress, because I don't know anyone with this kind of proportions. Be careful ordering from this company. Unless you can go and try it at their showroom, I would never buy anything from them. 0 stars, none, nada... Waste of money.

From the minute I walk in they always make me feel welcome even though I'm probably one of their most pickiest customers. They quickly offer you a beverage and a nice cup of espresso. I usually deal with David or Abigail when I go as they remember my style and know exactly what to show me. Throughout the entire process they are very attentive to your needs and provide honest feedback. It's a very effortless and pleasant process to put an outfit together there as they pull out everything for you. You don't really need to lift a finger. If for any reason the clothes you're trying on don't fit the best then no problem they offer free Taylor services which are done on premise. I've shopped there for outfits for many different occasions from causal to semi formal and for even my wedding. Many of my friends have gone their for their own groom suits and for their groomsmen suits. If you go there make sure you ask for David or Abigail for the best experience.

Located just steps from the east entrance to the 74th St station, this boutique biz has been a part of the neighborhood for a very long time. I'm fully aware I'm not the part of their target audience, have worn anything here (#2), so it's worth taking this review with a grain of salt. Despite my lack of traditional Indian attire experience, I've come here with friends and family to shop for sarees. (#3) Whether it was for tourist shopping in Jackson Heights or because they were hoping to rock a saree for an upcoming Indian wedding, I've seen a fair share of different outfits here and some of the stuff they have is pretty impressive. It's not all sarees of course, there's a whole spectrum of things they specialize in -- shalwar, kameez, lehnga choly, punjabi suits, silk suits, and children's formal wear. If they don't have items in house, they'll have it specially ordered from the motherland or import fabric for a custom job. Customer service could always been a bit warmer, but I say this because I think there could be a better hand holding experience for first timers out there. The staff seems to be able to speak a number of languages / dialects, which include urdu, Hindi, Tamil, and Punjabi. I was told by others the prices here can be a bit on the expensive side, but I also don't have a ton of experiences shopping in other similar stores. __________ (#1) Nowadays, more like little Bangladesh. (#2) But I've paid. That makes me a customer. (#3) Or sari. Whatever floats your boat.

Upon walking in, I remember seeing a bunch of old women sweaters, which isn't really what I was looking for (I was in the market for my wedding dress). They have some of their mens collection on the walls. They're true bridal clothes are in the back of the store, which is where we spent the majority of our time. They have a huge collection of bridal clothes and had quite a few for the exact color that I was looking for. The woman working the store, happened to be Afghani and didn't understand Hindi (spoke perfect English though, which was great for me!) and was a true sweetheart the entire time I was there. She was really helpful picking out different clothes and quickly picking up styles that I liked/disliked. She was also nice when trying clothes on, showing me different ways that I could wear the clothes. Overall, a really nice woman....which made me feel bad when we didn't buy anything from them. Their clothes were really nice, but they were a little pricey and they didn't have exactly what I wanted. If I had to do it again, I'd definitely go back there for any occasion that I was looking for an outfit for.

Some of the problems were obvious and others were hard to pinpoint, but the effect was a mishmash. Susan quoted me over $1200 for this adjustment, and when I said this was more expensive than my dress cost, I received the most unprofessional and rude response and was quite taken aback. "Yes, we pay humans who live and eat and pay rent in the United States, which is very different from the people who made your dress so it is usual that for dresses under $1000 alterations cost more than the dress. Good luck with your hunt." They don't know where I got my dress from, and I'm also someone living in NYC and doing my best. I think people are allowed to charge what they want or think their skill is worth, but I also think the wedding industry has lost their minds. I found an independent professional who did a beautiful job and charged a fair price. I have other dresses to be adjusted until my big day, and had considered saving them if I needed help for my main dress which will be more expensive, but based on this rude and entitled response, I already know to never go back to this business again.

After years of wearing startup T's and shorts, I left the startup scene and joined a corporation…read morewhere there is an unspoken dress code and shorts are frowned upon. The new job came with a nice pay bump so I figured I'll dress nicer. I reached out to Katie when I was visiting New York and she was able to squeeze me into her schedule within a short notice. As someone who never really shopped, I really didn't know what to expect. Katie held my hand through the process and the whole experience blew me away. Before meeting Katie, I filled out a form that asked me who my role models were, who I thought looked really good in TVs and movies, and other personality questions so Katie could get a feel of the kind of personality I want my style to convey. I really wanted a Harvey Specter look. HA! When Katie and I met, I confessed all my physical insecurities to her. Specifically, I had short stubby legs and finding jeans had always been a problem. Some jeans make my legs short and others make my legs look fat. Fortunately, Katie listened without judgement and none of my shortcomings unfazed her. After about 20 minutes of chatting and getting to know each other, we started shopping and I had the best time of my life! Katie and I waltzed into Banana Republic and Katie immediately grabbed a handicapped fitting room (there were no handicapped person in the store). She asked me to try on some stuff and while I was putting them on, Katie disappeared and returned with a pile of jeans, pants, and shirts. In my past shopping experience, it usually takes me hours to find jeans that fit. So when everything Katie picked fits my body type, I became the happiest person in the world! I eagerly tried on everything Katie brought into the fitting room and we spent most of our time going through the styles and colors and finding the right combination that would make me look my best. By the time we were done, we had a huge clothing pile of maybes and definitely-nots. After Banana Republic, we shopped at Bloomingdales in the same process. I would spend all my time trying on clothes in the fitting room while Katie looks, gives feedback, and brings in more and more clothes. We looked at styles and picked the most flattering styles for my body. By the end of the shopping experience, I had a head to toe wardrobe combination for every occassion (formal, business, business casual, casual, and very casual). Complete wardrobe makeover! Its been a little more than a month since my shopping experience with Katie and I can honestly say Katie had changed my life for the better. I get complements on my new look and I became more confident. After looking my best every day, I started developing a sense of what looks good on me and what doesn't. I didn't know how to shop before meeting Katie, but now I have a good idea of what to look for. Thank you Katie.

Purging felt SO good (we must've gotten rid of 10 bags of clothes, shoes, accessories, etc) and once she helped me pick out new styles and put together fresh outfits it made me realize how nice it was to finally move on from the past (and helped me to see that in fact so many of my old outfits weren't working/didn't suit my body) Working with Katie definitely created a shift in my life that I wasn't expecting! It brought on a lot of confidence and made me open to new things in my life in general. Katie really has a gift and I'm so glad I went through that experience with her! Also because she helped me see what outfits work for me, now I tend to buy better quality pieces that work and I don't have excess clutter.

Go here if you'd like to be without a dress the day-and-a-half before a once-in-a-lifetime life…read moreevent AND out $1,200. Go here if you'd like to be lied to, deceived, manipulated, and taken advantage of. Deceitful, lying, unethical business practices. Merchandise is not as described or as agreed upon; alterations of their own have resulted in an unwearable lump of $1,200 fabric. No empathy or acknowledgement of the impossible situation they have put me in. Would not wish this experience on anyone. I have 30 hours until I need to host a 300+ black tie event, and I am in the terrible position of needing to somehow find a beautiful Indian outfit because of Karishma's persistent deception and abuses of my kindness and goodwill. I gave them an opportunity as a courtesy to provide me with a refund, after delivering an ill-fitting, poor quality lehenga several days late. I have taken numerous trips to Queens despite living two hours away and bent over backwards to give the staff the benefit of the doubt there, trying to work with them. Yes, measure me for the third time. Yes, alter it again. OK, it will be delayed. OK, it will be delayed again. OK, it cannot be picked up even though I've already left. OK, I'll try it again. When it became clear that the dress had been rendered unwearable, I expected a courteous "We are so sorry" and a refund. Instead, I was yelled at and debased some more. I should have listened to the bad reviews here; now I hope you'll listen to my experience because I would hate for anyone else to be in this situation. I have asked for the manager's name; the owner's name; to speak with someone in a decision-making capacity. There is no accountability and no one has ever provided a response. They use manipulation tactics and put you down. And they lie repeatedly. Again, since there is no owner or manager seemingly present or willing to engage, you will have zero recourse for any issues. And the kicker: they only accept debit charges, which are harder to dispute via your bank. I have spent upward of 20 hours trying to resolve issues with Karishma. After being yelled at and insulted by their staff, my bank is dealing with them directly. Good luck finding your dream dress; I'm off to find whatever I can get on what was supposed to be a special day in my life.
