From the second it starts, it feels like organized chaos in the best possible way. The crowd work is absolutely ruthless but also hilarious. You spend half the time laughing and the other half quietly hoping you do not make eye contact. Somehow, they walk that perfect line where it is edgy without being awkward. The side acts are insane. Like, how is this even physically possible level talent. Every time you think it cannot get crazier, it does. It is part circus, part comedy show, part did I just witness that moment. And the Gazillionaire is the perfect ringmaster for it all, completely unhinged in the most controlled way possible. He keeps everything moving, keeps the crowd on edge, and somehow makes chaos feel like it is exactly on schedule. Going with a close friend made it even better. There is something about sharing those did that really just happen looks the whole night that makes it stick. If you are in Vegas and want something that is actually memorable and not just expensive for no reason, this is it. Easily one of the best shows on the Strip.

Bright pours. Easy pre-show energy. But the actual comedy lands uneven. The moments that are supposed to hit funny lean more raunchy than sharp. Some jokes feel like they are trying to shock first and earn the laugh second. It has that Vegas after-midnight attitude. Big wink. Big risk. Not every punchline clears. The performances have flashes. The cast brings confidence. Bodies moving like the room owes them applause. When the show gets physical it feels more alive. Acrobatics. Timing. Stage presence. Those parts carry more reputation than the comedy. The humor feels like the friend who keeps telling the same wild story louder because nobody laughed the first time. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it just sits there. Service is simple. Drinks came through. No drama. The flow felt easy enough. Staff kept the night moving without making it a whole thing. Atmosphere is the strongest piece. Dark room. Close seats. Adult circus energy. People laughing. People watching each other react. It feels social. More cool-night-out than must-see masterpiece. it's giving... Deadpool hosting a circus brunch.

My only catch was, it's not walkable from the stripe, I had to taxi to the Rio. For some reason I thought it was at the NY hotel. Looks like it used to be there and moved to the Rio. The theater is located on the 2nd floor near Smash Burger. I didn't know that you can't bring bottles into the show? Doh! They were able to watch it, kind of. Lucky me and it was there after the show ended. Seats are nice. They are movable. Now onto the show. It's so much fun!!!! The crowd really got into it, and so did I. The songs pair well with the dances. Go in and have fun. This isn't a literal interpretations of the Star Wars, it's pure fun. There is a bar and snacks that you can purchase. Unfortunately right now I have invisalign and can't eat or drink anything without taking out the trays. Boo. There is a mini gift shop. I saw a couple of shirts that I wanted to buy, but chickened out. Have a blast and enjoy the show.

The Empire Strips Back is a caberate parody on Star Wars; Star Wars fan or not, you'll have a freakin' great time. The music ranges from Biggie to Taylor Swift to all out 80s. Ladies are hot and talented; fun and sexy choreography. This show is located inside the NY Hotel; and there is a bar once you gain entry; there's also intermission (and restrooms). There's not a bad seat in the house, so you can spend a bit more to sit closer, but honestly, the cheap seats are great too.

The show keeps things light, playful, and engaging, and the kids around us were just as entertained as the adults. What really stood out was the production value. The combination of music, timing, and especially the colorful lighting creates a visually captivating atmosphere that feels both polished and exciting. Every detail feels intentional, and it all comes together in a way that keeps you locked in from start to finish. We also did the VIP behind-the-scenes experience, and that added a whole new layer to the night. Walking into a room filled with their awards and accomplishments really puts into perspective how much work and history is behind the show. What made it even more memorable was getting to meet them face to face--they were incredibly humble, down to earth, and genuinely appreciative of the support, which made the experience feel personal and authentic. Another thing I really appreciated was how the show goes beyond just performing for the audience--it acknowledges everyone involved. From the performers to the behind-the-scenes crew and staff, there's a sense of appreciation that makes the entire experience feel inclusive and thoughtful. Overall, it's a high-energy, well-produced show that delivers for all ages. Between the performance and the VIP experience, it's something special and definitely worth checking out.
