If you ever get the chance to go, you absolutely should -- watching BattleBots live is on a completely different level compared to TV. The first thing that surprised us was the size of the robots. They look big on TV, but in person they're massive and way more impressive. Seeing them up close gives you a whole new appreciation for the engineering and power behind each bot. One thing that's different from the televised version is that you don't see the teams come out before each fight like you do on TV. The focus is really on the robots and the battles themselves. But they do have the same robots you see on TV, and watching them tear into each other live is ridiculously fun. read more

Wow, just wow. This show exceeded my expectations! The hosts and the entire show was entertaining and hilarious! Love all the robots we got to see fight! Kids had a blast cheering and rooting as they kept the energy up through and through! Love the music choices for the robots introductions. I've been watching BatttleBots for years, and have always loved it. Being here now is awesome. The energy is infectious, and the people are enthusiastic, and so nice. The arena is quaint, and a lot smaller than I expected. Which is cool because the seats were closer to the stage, and it was easier to get called on to be a part of the shower. This is totally a kid and family friendly robot car fight show especially if you have kids who are into robotics. It's all about hands on and encouraging and building your own car robots for the future generation. The show in itself was very entertaining. There about 3 sets of car fights and 1 finale with lots of action. The drivers are from all walks of lives or they could have been staged. It's in Vegas so it could be fictious. Their location is inside a huge warehouse behind the High Roller with free parking. read more

Love watching BattleBots on TV but watching in person is a completely different story. Because of the battered protective plexiglass window barrier and glare, it is extremely hard to view the live action. Everyone is just watching the video screen above instead of the real thing which defeats the purpose of watching a live show. Kudos only the video production crew bc it would be a flop without them. MC tries to liven up the action by engaging the audience including prize giveaways, interviewing the opposing teams and rallying the audience up but we just wanted to watch the battle bot action which difficult to see and hear because it was blocked by the protective barriers and other audience. We had good central seats but still felt disconnected from the live action. It was also aggravating because group of teens stole our premium seats and we spent a few minutes trying to figure out where our seats where and when we figured it out we had to ask the teens to vacate our seats by showing our tickets to them and they played dumb and reluctantly moved over a few seats knowingly not having premium tickets for that area. That kind of ruined our excitement for us at start of the show. The ushers should do a better job with monitoring this. Beware F1 Race route nightly construction creating a major traffic jam after the show. Don't waste your money here. read more

If you love BattleBots, this is a MUST see event! Everyone in the family had an absolute blast, and I know I'll never watch the show in the same way after getting to experience it in person. We decided to get the VIP package when booking, and we felt it was worth it for the choices in seats and the view. I thought they would go easy during the battles so they didn't have to clean or spend so much on repair, but there was plenty of beautiful destruction to enjoy. Even though there was some cheesy banter with the actors, the show really delivered with the fights. We also got the backstage tour option. It was so special to be able to push the "ready" buttons and explore the area where the teams prep the bots. Everyone there was so gracious in answering questions and showing us around. We even got to see some members of the Jackpot team as we were leaving for the night. I especially want to thank Gary, the house manager the night of our visit. My mom had a broken leg, and he made sure she had a chair before entry time and made it to her seat safely. I hope I get to visit again someday, maybe during the active season! read more

I took my son (nine years old) to the show this weekend and it was the highlight of his Vegas trip. We've been watching the show for some time together, but the in-person experience where you can hear and feel the bots smashing into each-other makes me wish I'd managed to catch one of the television shows when they were filming. If you are a fan and can splurge on the backstage tour, it was really cool to see the areas where the bots are being built and talk to the drivers. We were lucky to catch a show that Faruq ("it's robot fighting time") Tauheed was at and get a chance to be fan boys. read more

I thought the show was decent. When I first arrived there was a line of people waiting before the doors opened. But as soon as they opened the doors to seating the line went really quickly. There are different sections of seating based on the ticket you purchased. The employees help direct you once inside but you basically pick any open seat within the section you purchased. So if you are wanting a specific seat definitely go earlier to be closer to the front of the line. There are restrooms available as well as snacks and drinks that can be purchased in the lobby area. I think I went into the show with expectations of it being way more exciting so I was a little bit disappointed. There are a total of 5 fights that you get to see. It was definitely cool to see the bots. But the show was not bad. I think this would be a great show for families and kids will definitely enjoy it. read more

I used to love watching BattleBots on YouTube for fun mayhem, so why not go to a live show? Base price started at $62 a ticket for standard seating. BattleBots Destruct-A-Thon had 5 battles in 1.5 hours. There wasn't as much sparks or metal scraps flying as I'd hoped for. They had one mystery competitor: a slot machine. We thought maybe it had a surprise offensive move, but it just got shredded for laughs. In the last fight between the Witch Doctor and Hypershock, neither bot got wrecked, so the audience decided the winner. We learned that each team had a back-up bot, so it would've been more exciting to see them fight again for a decisive winner. Needless to say, the show ended anticlimactically. I ended up watching the screen most of the time. It's probably best I just keep watching on YouTube and save myself the money. The live experience left much to be desired. read more

SO MUCH FUN! Get the copilot pass!!! It's worth every penny. Only $50 per person on Sunday when we went. Seth did an amazing job showing us around backstage and taking lots of photos and videos of us driving the robots around and hammering the bots during the match. My daughter enjoyed watching this show on tv. And we thought it would be an awesome experience to see it live on our first Vegas trip together with her. We decided to purchase the Platinum seats which come with complimentary drinks and snacks, 10% discount on merchandise, back stage tour to see the bots up close, and prime table seating up near the cage. We took a taxi to The Horseshoe and walked around the block to the backside. The arena/building was a little inconspicuous with a lot of parking and empty lot around it. We walked up and were surprised that there was no bag check. We were a little worried about whether or not we would be able to bring in a backpack since we were walking around the strip all day. We were greeted immediately upon entering and given platinum seating lanyards after showing our tickets. A hostess came over once we walked further in and she explained what was going to happen and guided us to our table. The comp snacks and water was waiting at our table along with a menu of things we could order table side with our hostess. She checked on us after each fight (5 total) which only lasted a few minutes. We were stoked to see some of her favorite battlebots in person. The only drawback about our platinum seating was that we couldn't see the announcers and teams speak as they spoke directly to the general audience. But the teams did make special runs past our section to high five us, which was cool. The backstage tour was cool cause you got to see just how damaged the bots were at the end of the night. So much fun and I really enjoyed their video at the end which encouraged the young kids in the audience to be creative, don't stop dabbling with building things. To finish the evening we did some shopping in their store which also offers broken pieces of the boys as memorabilia. read more

It was awesome. Battlebots has been a bucket list item for us, as a family, for several years. It's not the show, but hopefully that will come back in 2024 with WC 8 taping. Regardless, it was very approachable, exciting, and our kids were all in. The Q&A with Trey at the start was great, as was the demo of other bot technology. Love this show so much that we have attended 2x so far. The talent put into the robots is phenomenal. We splurged and got VIP (1st 2 rows) for my son's birthday but honestly all seats are good. I had no expectations as this was a birthday gift for my boyfriend. What a fantastic experience! From the Platinum VIP seating, to the hosts (one who is the OG Battlebots host from the show on Comedy Central), everything was so professionally done, but not over done. There were awesome battles between bots, the drivers were fun, and they really get the crowd going and into it. They also spend some time educating the crowd about the history of the bots and engineering that goes into creating them. I was super impressed knowing the back story, especially since I was new to all of this. It's incredible the level of skill involved and the engineering teams behind the bots. I was all in after that! We loved the variety of snacks available at our VIP table, and they also have a nice snackbar in the lobby to purchase goodies during the show. Our server was great, too. The VIP tour afterwards was super cool, you get to see the bots with fresh damage up close and get a BTS look at the "pits". I would totally do this again as it is unscripted, super energetic and entertaining! Take your kids and go, or grab a date, a buddy, and do something totally different in Vegas! Our kids had a ton of fun. I love how they promote engineering and robotics for kids. It's mainly tv wrestling with robots-- obvious line-ups, costumes, one liners, spectacles. They provide ear plugs which are necessary. If you know you are going, and you have little ones, get better quality ear pro. I had to redo my son's about a dozen times because they didn't fit well in his ears, and he's wiggly. I really love the college student who does Manta, and the girl who does Witch Doctor. Such positive role models for kids. My kids watched so many reels afterwards as they ate lunch. read more

Located in a big white tent on Koval and Flamingo. There was a lot of parking spots available for a $10 fee. Came right in to the Check In spot by the door and was greeted and guided. There was a counter for snacks, a counter for merchandise and restrooms. It was nicely air conditioned. We headed to the main area. Once you walk in, you'll see the production team. It was pretty cool to see. We went straight ahead to the bleachers. They told us that we can sit on any chairs with red tape on it and if there's none then to sit at a blue one. Any seats you sit on is a good view. It did get a bit warm in there. The hosts and casts were hilarious and entertaining. And of course, the robots were too. Yes!!!! I love battle bots. This was more like a show than a competition but I'm a sucker for puns, the corniest corn and the cheesiest cheese and they delivered on all fronts. I really enjoyed this show and everyone here is super nice and chill. I highly recommend this for something different and fun and educational. There were a few things I felt weren't explained well on the website that I would have liked to have known: 1. The parking lot is plenty big and parking was not an issue at all. 2. You're allowed to bring in signs. Only 2 people brought a small sign and I wish I knew we were encouraged to make and bring signs 3. There is a bar inside, basic bar 4. For general tickets, there are NOT assigned seats. It's a first come first serve situtation. General tickets have pick of any seat with a red sticker. luckily we found seats but wish i knew that so we would have gotten there a little earlier read more
