About four years ago, the Super Summer Theatre board got this space in an office building on South Valley View not far from the Palms/Gold Coast. There are two studios that are used for rehearsals for the summer shows and Spring Mountain Ranch. The interesting part of this is the one studio is designed in the exact footprint--except for depth--as the stage at the ranch. That way, sets built here can be taken to the ranch and everything fits. In addition, directors can do the show's blocking and it doesn't have to be redone for the ranch. During the late spring and summer. Shows move from one studio to the other and then move out to move into the ranch. Quite a good setup. For two years, the summer theatre has had an off season where three plays are mounted. I went to see Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. They're also doing the Fantasticks and Suddenly Last Summer in this off season. The facility is very pleasant. The theatre is intimate and very comfortable. There are seven rows of seats--three on the floor and four on risers. There are restrooms and snacks and drinks are sold at a very reasonable rate. There is ample parking. One thing, if you've never been here, look for someone with a flashlight with a red plastic tip to find the driveway. From there, you can circle the office building to get to parking. Now that I know where it is, I'll be a regular. I have to be. I have my tickets for the other two shows. Give it a try for some good theatre.

There is nothing in town that compares to it, when it comes to value and level of performance, it is an incredible production where the theatre is not too big, but the stage is semicircular with 3D background on large screen, and the projections are so well incorporated into acts, so it gives the impression that it is one large theatre. I love the closeness to the performers, everything happening right in front of your very eyes... It is so much fun for children and adults! Performers are so adorable, acts changing quickly, there is even water on the stage! What an incredible production of Titanic story; gives me chills every time I see it! This one show represents the good old Vegas variety show and brings some nostalgia ... Do not miss it!

The stunts were really cool too. Had a nice variety of acts, production was decent. The only reason it got a 3 star was because the intermission guy, this goofy guy trope. Who just takes it over the top, which makes it seem cringey. If they replace him, or his character I would bump up my rating. Overall, it was good show, worth a watch, just don't pay full price!

They had amazing craft cocktails with genius combinations. Surprisingly, it was Friday night around 10pm, and it was pretty empty. My husband and I aren't partiers or clubbers, so this was a wonderful experience of craft cocktails, a calm environment, not loud music, and chill, attractive ambiance and decor. I'm sorry I couldn't remember the bartender's name - but he was wonderful. Also a CA expat. I know this won't be the same for everyone that goes there, but pretty much had a one on one experience, because there was really no one else there. The food options looked great, but we just ate a large meal. They sounded great, and the prices were fair. Cocktail prices were also fair given the absolute quality and craft. I was disappointed by the simulation. $36 per person I think, for 3 races. Mind you, it is a simulation of an F1 car. I don't think all the kinks and knots were worked out on the machines, because they didn't work very well, races were short and didn't really seem worth the price. Now regardless of your skill or lack thereof with consoles and games, even my husband, who has a lot of experience playing driving and racing games with manual mode, found it troublesome It's a cool experience - but I wouldn't pay for it again. We absolutely love cars, so in general the theme is awesome (even if you're not a gearhead), but would come back here again for the amazing cocktails, especially if it's as chill and quiet as when we went here.

The theater is upstairs and we arrived to the line around 9pm for our Saturday 9:30pm show. They checked our IDs, tickets, and bags while in line (super efficient) and then wanded us down when heading through the door. You enter into a lounge sort of area with a large bar. There are a good amount of seats (and plenty of poles) around the lounge area. We each got a drink and I got gummy bears! The drinks are of course themed with Star Wars and I thought they were very good. Once the intermission hit, we got another drink and some water (option between Dasani and Fiji which I was so grateful for because I hate Dasani). We got the premium tickets, so we were in the 3rd row and to the right side. Once the show got going, we were all having a blast! The host had our energy uuuuup the entire time! From the moment that taun taun steps on stage, you are having an amazingly fun, wild ride. The music went with each little skit so perfectly. The costumes were amazing. The props and creatures, dude! And the dancers? Killed it!! We were laughing, screaming, singing, cheering, this was such a fun time. I was so surprised when we got a Han Solo dancer! If you are a Star Wars fan and are looking for a really fun and spicy night, you absolutely need to check out this show. This is definitely one that I will never forget!

Super cool experience. They do have merch. I got the wookie magazine, poster and tshirts. I was very impressed with the show. If you are in Vegas and you are on the fence, just book the show and go. I would most definitely recommend this show. The restrooms are super nice and big. They have tons of mirrors and seating inside. Once again, highly recommended. The dancers and the songs, the props used all amazing.

As MOH, I planned the party and spent a lottt of time going through reviews on Yelp and Reddit bc there was a lot of pressure to find the best option and decide for the group. Many reviews of the bigger shows said the performers had been doing it for so long that they looked like they were just going through the motions.. that the acts were unimpressive.. that the theater was so big you could only see the tricks on a screen, or that it was overpriced. After all my research, I'm SO glad I decided on Frederic -- the bride said this magic show was her favorite part of the trip!! (and we went to Tao dayclub the day before lol) :) I love that it was in a small, intimate theater, so that you were up close no matter where you sat. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. The mentalism was such a cool departure from traditional physical magic tricks -- we all loved it and had many *gasp* moments. We even got to meet Frederic after, and he performed more mentalism up close, which was cool. HIGHLY recommend this show!! (Also, it was $30/ticket, which is a price you cannot beat in Vegas)

Every performance had me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn't stop smiling. The acrobatics were breathtaking, the choreography was incredible, and the way they combined Michael Jackson's music with Cirque du Soleil's creativity was absolutely brilliant. Since I know all of Michael Jackson's songs, it made the experience even more exciting. I found myself singing along in my head the entire time! Every act left me saying, "Wow!" and wondering how they pulled it off. The energy was nonstop, and every performance was exciting, creative, and so much fun from beginning to end. I'm a huge Cirque du Soleil fan in general. I've seen almost every Cirque show that I could. Unfortunately, I missed a few that are no longer running, such as IRIS in Los Angeles and, in Las Vegas, R.U.N. and LOVE (The Beatles). Whenever a touring Cirque du Soleil show comes to the Bay Area, I always make time to see it. If you're a Michael Jackson fan, this show is an absolute must-see. And if you already love Cirque du Soleil like I do, you'll have an amazing time. It's definitely one of the most entertaining shows I've ever seen!
