Saturday morning I ordered a party toy online... paid for it, the works. Waited for the email to come in that I could pick it up... by showing my ID and the purchasing credit card. When I got to the store the clerk & I exchanged a couple of jokes. I thought it odd that they swiped my card...but just figured it was verifying. Nor did I pay attention they handed me a receipt. FF four days later checking my visa bill online. Oh no... swiping my card was charging me... a second time. I just threw away the receipt yesterday!! I tried to dispute online but the charges were Fantasy Online and Fantasy Gifts, also the charge amounts differed by $0.12 so Visa didn't see it as a duplicate charge and told me to contact the merchant. So I will attempt to go to the store with nothing but my story and visa bill screenshots.... Ugh this seems so scandalous... Here's to hopefully, not hoping, that this has happened before!! I entered the store told Kelly what happened...showed her the item... she asked if the employee had a mohawk? I said I couldn't recall but I know I wasn't sure so I referred to them as they. Kelly said it was them and they go by he. She called the owner who looked up the sale... and would refund me! Oh.... THANK YOU!!! As we discussed it I said I'm sure it was confusing since I handed the credit card like I was expecting to pay.... and since she was so understanding and helpful and not near the hassle I thought this was going to be, I appreciated her and her assistance!! Here I am just over an hour later, checked my email....and... the refund is already there!! Not just there but was there since immediately after I left... 10:09a. Was cornered by a man cleaning before I could ever walk in. I left my wallet at home so I didn't have my license, I had a photo of it on my phone. The man rudely asked if I intended on buying and paying cash since I didn't have my license. I had my credit card plenty of ways to verify it was me, and he told me I was not allowed to even come in the store any further. The woman behind the corner looked appalled he was even asking me these questions. I was so embarrassed, and furthermore a man asking me if I was going to buy something?????? I found this cringe worthy and creepy, to be honest not his business either. I truly intend to never go back to this location after literally being cornered and whoever this gentleman was made a scene. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming experience. I went in to return something with a receipt, still in the packaging, and was told I can only return it if I find the exact same thing, same price, but they didn't have any selection for me to make an exchange. She was not allowing me to make a return even though there was a defect in the product. Instead I was told to go to a different location and maybe someone else could help me. As my friend and I were looking around, the staff person was sweeping and cleaning long before the store was closed and would remind us that she's closing up soon. Since I didn't want to inconvenience her longer, I checked out and she accused me of stealing and asked to look in my bags. I will never go back after feeling very rushed, accused of stealing and their unwillingness to be flexible because of a low quality product. read more

Just your average friendly li'l neighborhood sex toy shop... Fantasy Gifts is small, neat, clean and well-organized. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; they can answer most any question you have and are great if you need a recommendation on a toy or lube. They have a selection of novelty items (i.e. lingerie and bachelor/bachelorette party gear), but thankfully this isn't the main focus--which takes it away from kitsch and keeps it firmly in the functional category. Overall, it's a nice little shop. (I keep saying "little"...and it is.) However, the selection leaves much to be desired. They simply don't have that much in the store in terms of piece-count OR variety. (Part of the neat-and-clean element of the shopping experience is brought about by a lack of merchandise.) This can also vary wildly from week to week. One week they'll have XYZ that you want in stock--and the next week they'll be out of it for weeks and weeks. The selection of lube is particularly lacking--especially for persons with special needs (i.e. sensitive skin, glycerin-free but not silicone, etc.). You also won't find a lot of high-end sex toys here (conversely: prices are very reasonable). Shopping at Fantasy Gifts is not intimidating at all for a first-timer or a shyer buyer, and you'd be able to find your basic selection of toys without a problem. It *is* worth a stop for something very run-of-the-mill. However, if you're looking for variety or specialty merchandise, you're best going somewhere with a bigger selection. (I should note that Fantasy Gifts Online has significantly more stuff than they carry in stores.) read more

This place is great for novelty gifts for bachelorette parties, toys for the bedroom, good selection of porn, cute, sexy lingerie and other accessories to have a good sexy time with your significant other. The reason I gave it 1 star is because the employee who was working, would not leave me alone. I am ok with an employee asking me what I am shopping for, making suggestions and then just letting me know they are available if I need them. That should be the extent of it, that is their job and I appreciate that interaction. However, this particular employee did not stop talking to me, not about what I was shopping for or making suggestions, but about my job, where I'm from, details on the bachelorette party I was shopping for, what I was wearing, where she was from, etc. I am not kidding. She was very obnoxious. I couldn't focus on my shopping trip and was extremely annoyed- I almost left- but couldn't because I didn't have time to go anywhere else. I ended up buying stuff I really wasn't too excited about- because it got to the point where I just wanted to leave.
