    Lazy River

We booked our stay through Robin Mann with Monster Reservations Group, and the experience was smooth and easy. Fantasy World in Orlando is a great place to wind down and enjoy quality time with family, especially the water park. The slides were exciting without being overwhelming, the lazy river was perfect for relaxing, and everything felt clean and well taken care of. The robot ice cream was a fun little surprise after spending time in the pool and definitely put a smile on our faces. There was also a small arcade that we got to check out, which added even more fun for the kids. Overall, Fantasy World is a great place to stay where you can actually enjoy your time without feeling rushed. It's a great spot for families and will definitely keep kids entertained. We would absolutely stay here again.

Thanks to the Monster Reservation Group my family and I had the most amazing vacation at the Fantasy World Resort in Kissimmee, FL in Orlando. The package they put together was fantastic and I can't recommend them enough. I pray and hope whoever reads this gets to experience the excellent customer service support and attention to detail we received towards our vacation needs.

Clean towels left outside the door!

DON'T stay here! Dirty, smelly and NOT WORTH IT!!! The room smells moldy. The front desk's answer was to SPRAY the room to hide the smell!!! The A/C wasn't working! The maintenance guy came 3 times and rigged it to work! (Mike was a nice guy and worked hard to make it right. The bed is super uncomfortable. The only good thing, we brought our own pillows! The we returned to find a dirty, smelly mop on the kitchen counter!!! No towels! Went to the front desk. Delia and the other staff laughed when I showed them the picture of the mop!!! They put you here in this dump and try to sell you an IHG vacation time share. The furniture is shabby and old. THEY LEFT THE CLEAN TOWELS OUTSIDE THE DOOR IN A BAG! What a joke!

omg- my visit to orlando has been wonderful. from the resort to the restaurants and do much more to do. my fiancé and I fell in love with just our resort alone. to be honest you really don't have to go to the theme parks because the resort has so much to offer. i would definitely come back. 10 of 10. thank you so much monster reservation. for this wonderful deal on such a beautiful place.

We first learned about this resort through Interval International which charges a $200 exchange fee, and then the hotel charges another $238 fees for amenities. I was told that the amenities include: Wi-fi, a waterpark, gym, pool, tennis, basketball, and other sporty activities around the resort, however, they did not say it did not cover activities for children such as teddy bear making $17, snowcones $3, cotton candy $10, arts and crafts (ranges), tye dye shirt making $25. I think those should've been included given it is mostly a kids' experience. I met a few parents at the pool area and they all agreed. The water park was the main reason for choosing this place and made it worthwhile. First impression: it is small, with no gated security, an outdated lobby, and rooms. However, the rooms weren't too bad, there was a netted backyard that led to the outside which we loved. We noticed many owners had dogs and maybe they were there for a long stay. NO DOG POOP FOUND. Cons: The toilet blocked up (on our last day thanks to Thanksgiving dinner, haha) , the refrigerator leaked inside (they replaced the entire unit with another one) , the TV stopped working (they brought a brand new one), and the ceiling/vent was leaking when someone showered upstairs right on to the living room couch (they caulked the bathroom and left ugly footprints from their boots. During my stay, I had to ask for a mop, vacuum, detergent, and supplies. You can order it from Doordash and have it ready for pick up FOR FREE). Unfortunately, THEY DID NOT OFFER HOUSEKEEPING OR ADDITIONAL TOWELS during our week stay. They were very polite and seem to be working throughout the resort. It is not a horrible place to stay, just need a few upgrades and they will be fine. During Thanksgiving week, there were many children and timed activities around the pool. Others: You must wear a wristband around the resort to access the amenities, howEver, my partner did not, and he was not asked if he stayed there, so I thought about security around all the children. Keep them within reach and safe cause it seems anyone can walk into the property. Location is perfect! About 30 minutes max from all the major attractions! We did not eat or drink because it didn't look appetizing. The staff all speak Spanish, with the exception of a few English natives. Housekeeping is not included, but we were offered it cause we had an incontinent guest. She did not speak English but it worked out nice. PS- The pool was heated as the temperature went down, the sauna was always full, and the water slide is from 1-PM 5PM everyday. Lazy river and pools are open until 9PM. Front desk is 24/7. Ok, I'm done! :-)

Won contest but then they didn't give him a snow cone as promised!

We went here for the 1st & last time last weekend! We're FL residents & love to use resort passes frequently! My finances young kids are here for Summer so he thought it sounded fun. First, when you arrive to check in, there were no clear instructions on where to go to check into our $300 cabana! They sure did put my cc on file though! We had to "figure out" where to go, no signage or info for day guests! We get to our cabana & my sun lounger was broke, I also noticed the guy in front of me had a broke chair also! Loungers are flimsy mesh & I felt like I'd fall through! I'm normal weight...if you're larger, beware! Cabana didn't have a tv.,,did have a nice mister fan thingy (only perk)..small ice thing w/ice in it & small mini fridge. We were allowed to pick 6 drinks..we didn't get any extras; fruit plate, no dedicated server..total rip off so skip the cabana here. No special treatment or service for the price! One small sofa like chair to fit in & a harder fabric upright chair...nor enough space for 4 to fit on comfortably! Lots of employees walking around but there were dirty socks on the pool are..nor enough space one bothered to pick up..no one picking up trash that I saw..no one checked in on us once; other than initially..oh & NO towels at the cabana. I had to ask & wait about 30 mins for them to show up! FYI "fantasy" world..a cabana is an added cost, so it should be well stocked before guests arrive & have perks. It was basically just a shaded spot we paid for. The sun chairs didn't even get much sun! Bathroom was out of toilet liners at one point. Food was AWFUL! Ordered chx fingers, burger & waffle fries..nuggets looked awful..I've seen gas station food look better! Looked like frozen ore ida tater tots & generic food reheated! This place was a ghetto fab nightmare! While we didn't stay as guests...luckily, the rentals look crappy & outdated..they resembled projects! Lobby was like something out of a John Candy movie too! Son played the cheesy contest they had for the kids, he won & they gave him a certificate for a FREE snowcone. He went to redeem it & was sooo excited, but they told him to come back tomorrow? Hello...we are just day guests, not staying here thankfully! When he went back to tell them that, they gave him a push up pop..he was not happy! Do what you say ..geez!!!

When we checked in the staff attempted to charge us extra for a dog which they corrected. This resort was not too crowded and the pools and large hot tubs were extra special. I had a wonderful time in the pool area and the rooms were beautiful and well kept. I would love to come here again. The rooms were quiet and far away from any noise.

I came to this resort as a exchange with my resort through interval international. First it's nice people are nice especially the the front desk. The accommodations are nice with the 2 story town house. The parking could do better by numbering spots accordingly. The bad is the extras paid $200 plus for exchanging then $200 plus for hotel fees. Yes it's a fantasy because it's not as big as pictured. Oh my luck they put me in the area of construction vehicle working early on repairs with the beeping noise.

Here for competition!! We won Gold!!

RCI owner's exchanges BEWARE: this place is a mess. From the units to the grounds keeping all the way to management of the resort and the property managers managing RCI's accommodations. The units RCI owns here at Fantasy World need to be updated. Better yet, sell them and do it yesterday. Everything was in disrepair. The housekeeping was terrible and the AC was not functional. We arrived late at night to find that check-in for RCI members is not even at the resort but at another crappy hotel, Club Sevilla, 10 minutes away. We return to the resort to find our room gloomy and run down but we are so tired we crash into bed. Next morning, we wake to find ourselves in a third world hotel. No AC but it makes noise like it wants to work! The entire unit was not cleaned properly. There were streaks of frosting on nearly every piece of furniture. The floors were dirty with dried footprints. It's looks as if housekeeping never mops behind the doors or into corners. The upstairs toilet valve whistled every 15 minutes or so for about 5 minutes. There were lip marks on the living room mirror. The dishwasher top rack stops were missing so every time you pulled the rack out to put a glass in you had to hold the rack to keep it from sliding out of the dishwasher. The couch had food splashed onto the fabric and the arm chair was drawn on with ball point ink. Not a single lamp had a functioning twist switch and the upstairs twin bedroom didn't have a lamp at all. The screened porch was littered with leaves and dirt. The grounds of the complex were unkempt as well. Leaves were everywhere. This unit did not even come close to RCI's lowest expectations. I called the front desk, spoke with the supervisor, then housekeeping. I brought all these issues to their attention and asked for another room. They said they could not help me because all the RCI rooms were booked. The housekeeping supervisor, Debbie, said that they had recently acquired the contract to manage RCI's units at Fantasy World and were in the process of "dealing" with the problems. They offered for housekeeping to come and RE-do the cleaning (as if it had been done. Lol) but was not sure if it could be cleaned same day. I called Fantasy World and asked if there was something they could do. The front desk gentleman actually acted perturbed that RCI had pulled the units from their management after over 25 years. Whatever. Clearly this was a problem under their management. The evidence was the condition of the rental unit. I called RCI and they were able to find us a unit at Silver Lake Resort....a beautiful place with exemplary employees. Disaster averted!! Vacation saved!! Do not stay here. It does not matter how appealing the water park is. There is no way it is safe considering how they have maintained things over the years.

    Bugs in bathroom

Place is centrally located. Pool, lazy river and hot this were nice. Staff not so much. Came for our anniversary. Found little bugs around tub, kitchen, nightstand. Stopped at front desk next evening. Woman of color said "well it's been raining we get all sorts of creatures coming inside." Not very reassuring. After pressing the issue she said they have a "bug guy" on the property Tuesdays and Thursdays (regular occurance?) and would have them review and treat. Tuesday night no signs of bugs on kitchen counter but more on upstairs bath tub and bedroom nightstand. Woke up Wednesday with little bites on my leg. Little highway of bugs on dining room chair rail, crawling on kitchen counter and dishes. Wasnt sure anything was treated as they were increasing. Called desk again said they'd look into it but nothing changed. We gave up expecting anything. Day of checkout 845 am housekeeper enters unit without knocking. Sees me in my boxers and then announces "house keeping." I said what she was doing just entering. "Its okay." I said no its not. I called the front desk and talked to Chris who identified himself as a supervisor. I asked if it was customary to have housekeeping enter rooms unannounced at 845 am to see patrons in their skivies. At first he didn't really know how to respond. I said checkout isnt until 10 am and this was inappropriate. He said he would check with the house keeping manager but offered a late checkout. I told him I didnt really need a late checkout but said okay. When we did check out it was with Chris. I asked to speak with the manager. A young fellow came over. I explained that I was quite upset about the house keeper coming in unannounced seeing me in my boxers. I said I had read reviews that housekeeping tried to get people to leave early but thought it was just a one off but 845 am? He said that because I was checking out and hadn't paid anything directly to the resort (we traded in) that there's nothing he could do. He said if we were staying on the property he could have comped something at the bar or restaurant. What great customer service. Here's what you cant have? I asked where was this offer when I complained about the bug infestation? Crickets. He looked into a notebook and said the room had been viewed and treated. I said it got worse after the treatment. He said that's often the case because they put down bait. WTH? I said there was no sign of bait traps or that anything was done. Only more bugs. He said he was sorry but there was nothing he could do but told me to have a good day. Won't be back there again.

The outside looks a little run down (broken and flapping sign, lack of attention to landscaping). The problems we experienced with our unit included: 1. Broken bathtub faucet. 2. Broken air conditioner. 3. Non-working outlets, making it impossible to use a computer in some locations in the unit. 4. No internet when we most needed it (it was down for a day). 5. Roaches (in two different units) You really don't want to be in Florida without air conditioning. When the AC broke, the maintenance man came up right away and diagnosed the problem. He said he could fix it but it had to be off overnight before he could do that. They moved us to a different unit for the night -- they would not consider moving us permanently, so we slept in the other unit and kept our stuff in the original unit and moved back the next day. It was very inconvenient. We saw a very large roach in the first unit just before the AC broke. For that reason I was glad to be going to a different unit. However, we saw another roach (a juvenile) in the second unit as soon as we got there. And they were bold roaches! Clearly, there had to be a serious infestation for us to be seeing them that quickly. Once we got our AC working, the internet went down for a day. At this point, we really didn't want to stay much longer. The bathtub faucet was fixed quickly, but we ended up not using it because of the time it took. The non-working outlets were never addressed. I wouldn't recommend this place.

This hotel is perfect if you're going to Disney and don't want to stay at one of the resorts but want some resort perks. The perks I found convenient was the shuttle and being able to go to the parks before it officially opens. And they have complimentary breakfast and have daily kickbacks from 5:30-7:30pm where you get 3 alcoholic beverages, or just unlimited sodas/juice, and random food items you can make a complete dinner out of. Housekeeping was always really nice, they came to our rooms daily and refreshed our towels and such. The pool was nice and clean as well. The employees there were very nice and helpful to direct us as it was our first time there. We did order pizzahut while there and food from the kitchen and bar. Both were pretty decent just the kitchen and bar food was expensive as expected. I will say although I did love the shuttles, I did not use it my second night. I think it's great for getting there and if you're doing half a day coming back in the afternoon is fine. But if you're coming home during closing it could be very hectic. At Disney there's a spot where you wait for your shuttle we and one other family were one of the first ones there and almost didn't get on the shuttle because they let all the ones who came after before us. And the other family was in a wheel chair so I felt they should've gotten on first. I did love that there was no resort fee however there was a parking fee. If you are military I would recommend asking if there's a discount as if you book online there is one. We didn't know that so they gave us a discount with parking. Our rooms were spacious for a family of 5 with two queens and a couch. We requested a playpen and it was brought to our room after check in. It had a sheet and came with a tiny blanket. The bathroom was decent. There were some spots where I felt it showed its age not a cleaning issue. All and all I would probably stay here again. It saved some money for our family as meals and with the shuttle parking for one of the days.

Before her surgery and because I had to check out by 10 am and that was when the surgery was scheduled, I went to the resort and explained the situation. I was told that if I wanted to stay there I would have to pay triple what I originally paid. I said thank you very much and checked out. We love the set up of the villa especially with it being for 4 adults - Me, my hubby, my mom, and dad! We didn't have to be stuck in one hotel room. We had perfect space where we didn't have to be on top of each other. We had a downstairs open living room, dining area, small kitchen, and a bathroom with shower downstairs. The couch even has a bed in it if one needs it. Upstairs is two bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom with bath tub. One bedroom had two double beds and one bedroom has a king sized bed. The beds were very comfy, the sheets and comforter were cozy. Only thing was the pillows were very small. We had a view of the creek which was nice and nature-y! The pool was nice along with two small hot tubs which were not hot. They have a park and big grassy area for our dog to play. We were not able to walk the boardwalk and gazebo which looked really nice. At the end, customer service was weird because the person I called to extend my check out an hour didn't know we existed. He said it was because Booking.com and their system did not communicate. Also, I asked for two towels and they brought us two rolls of toilet paper. I was like What?! At least our receipt matched our quote from Booking.com. All in all, we loved our clean roomy villa and would recommend staying here.
