Stella Nova Hotel Stayed here for 3 nights with my son. Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and new modern look of the room. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. I really loved the extra table top area for the luggage. It really made a difference. Only one little downfall is the lights turn on automatically when you get up to go to the bathroom. Maybe there's a way to turn them off but I didn't know how. Other than that minor annoyance it was a great stay.... Also, we spent an entire day in the pool area. The pool was simple but clean, nice, and a good environment to hang out for the day. The food was good too, we ate at the restaurant downstairs. Five nights. Zero housekeeping. Not once. At this point, I'm convinced dust was considered part of the resort experience. We're a family that travels all the time and rarely, if ever, leave bad reviews because we generally don't have problems anywhere we stay. So if we're taking the time to write this, it's earned. Every single day we called the front desk asking for our room to be cleaned. Every single day we were told, "Housekeeping was declined." No... it wasn't. By day three, I found myself wiping down counters, gathering trash, and trying to clean the room myself because nobody else was going to. I didn't realize "self-service housekeeping" was included in the resort fee. Then the manager came up with a brand-new excuse, claiming our "Do Not Disturb" sign was on the door the entire stay. That's impressive, considering we never touched it once. Someone's story needs housekeeping more than our room did. Imagine charging resort prices while delivering motel-level service. We finally packed up and moved to the Hilton across the street. Within hours we had a clean room, friendly staff, and service that actually matched the price tag. Turns out that's what a resort is supposed to feel like. Save yourself the frustration, the excuses, and the complimentary housekeeping workout. Stay at the Hilton instead. read more

Stella Nova is one of Universals newest properties. It is a beautiful place very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool is amazing! As far as the rooms they are nice and clean but I would say they are simple, don't expect too of the line accommodations when you enter the room. Nothing wrong but nothing stands out. One thing to note is even though the bed is moderately comfortable the blankets and bedding is a little lacking. I definitely do recommend and I love staying near Epic and seeing the fireworks show from the room! The exterior at Stella Nova is fun to pull up to on your journey arriving or getting back from a day at the parks. Multicolor bricks catch the sun and moonlight differently through the day and night, adding to the fantastical and dreamy feeling of frequenting Universal Orlando. Every single team member inside this hotel was lovely. From check-in, to bag check, to my double (sometimes triple) espreso guy, to the staff in the merchandise store. I arrive at 10am, check-in is at 4pm. By 1pm my room was ready. AND it had a park view of Epic Universe. If you are staying here, at Stella Nova, I am guessing it is because, like me, you are centering Epic. So this view excited me like a giddy kid. I did come in January, which is a slightly slower time. So keep that in mind when requesting rooms and waiting for check-in. You can check-in, then check your bags and go straight to the parks! But I wanted to rest up first, so I lounged by the pool. The pool is pretty large (smaller than the typical UO resort), with the hot tub right next to the bar. I liked staying on the loungers that were on a sand area, so I could pretend I was at the beach. The design is galactic, cosmos, space shuttle inspired, which you can totally tell by the architecture. I get what they were going for with all the white, but I felt it needed more pop of color, my artwork, or more interesting installations to avoid it looking a little bland. This is Universal after all! The lobby bar didn't appeal to me, though their drinks looked lovely. It was a little small and cramped. Sort of gave me an airport feel. The market and cafe were WAY better than I imagined, with fresh food available, but I will get into those details in a separate review of Cosmos Cafe. The biggest perk: 3-4 minute shuttle to Epic, or a very easy walking path that took about 8/10 minutes. The biggest con: Who made these room walls? My gosh, I could hear every single door open and close on my floor. If a kid was giggling three rooms over I heard it. If the shuttle bus (I was park facing and on the side of the shuttles) was parking, I heard the beeps. Luckily, I had ear plugs and played brown noise on my phone. Y'all, ear plugs are a must here. With only that one con to consider and steps to counteract the sounds, I would absolutely stay here again. read more

Dates of stay: December 1 - 2, 2025 Stella Nova is the closest you can stay to the action at Universal Epic without sleeping in the parking lot. Choose between a 10-minute completely paved/pedestrian-friendly walk or frequent shuttle buses to get to the park (we actually beat the bus once because of the ridiculously long traffic signal at Epic Blvd), making it incredibly easy to start enjoying some rides. Want to go to another park or over to CityWalk? Take the shuttle to Epic and then catch another bus over to your intended destination. Being a Loews hotel, it is a very nice facility, if a bit sparse in some areas. The couch in the room was not very comfortable and the lack of hand lotion in the room was disappointing, but overall it's a great space. Our room was admittedly basic in many ways but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn't hear any outside noise, either, which is also important. Our check-in was efficient and incredibly friendly--I wish I had been more timely with this review so I could shout out the lovely young lady from Mexico that got us checked in and provided both facility and how to access the park so we could get started on the fun. The housekeeping and valet staff we encountered were less friendly. I wouldn't go as far as calling them rude, but they weren't giving the warm fuzzies. Much attention to detail really elevates the theme over the gimmicks you see in places such as Las Vegas; here the carpet, room numbers, and the lobby decor all tie together nicely to make you feel like you're somewhere other than Orlando, Florida circa 2025! If you're going to Universal, this is a great option for your vacation and is far more affordable than most other official Universal hotels. read more

My only reason for rating 4 stars rather than 5 is that the rooms aren't cleaned every day. You come back tired after more than 12 hours in the park, only to find the same mess you left behind when you rushed out in the morning. The room costs $350+ per night... Even a 2-star hotel cleans rooms every day! Besides that, I found everything else good: Front desk wait time was only a few minutes. Personnel is professional and multi-language. The hotel is new, very nicely decorated, and clean. The room on the 9th floor was super quiet, with great views. The room was very clean and very well furnished: hair dryer, coffee, a coffee machine, a small fridge (no noise!), an ample desk and sofa to put bags and stuff, a large laptop-sized safe, a large TV, and AC (very low noise). The Avis car rental onsite was a big bonus. We arrived too early to Tampa airport. Uber/Lyft cost was around $150 one way. Avis to the hotel was less than $50! Hotel service is excellent. You ask for towels, coffee, whatever you've run out of, and they deliver in minutes. Nice swimming pool area with a bar. Plenty of tables for your meal. There's a restaurant open until 10pm and a Starbucks coffee. Food delivered to room until 12am. Alcohol is expensive, but other food is reasonably priced for the location. Food quality is just Ok, amussement park quality. You can get very good meals for a reasonable price (not cheap) in the Univerdal Boardwalk. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Epic's park entrance. Or take the free Universal Shuttle bus to any park -- the stop is just next to the lobby. If you're visiting Epic Universe, this hotel is an excellent location, and you also get 1-hour early access. There's a more expensive hotel inside the park, but if budget is a factor, Stella Nova is a better deal at this time, in my opinion. I also made a Yelp review of Epic Universe itself. If you're spending more time at the other parks, you might be better off staying at one of the hotels closer to the boardwalk. One extra tip: if you stay at an on-site Universal Orlando Resort hotel, most of the stores in the park offer free delivery to the lobby. They guarantee next-day delivery by noon, but I got same-day delivery. read more

This was my first stay at Universal's new Epic Universe area hotel properties (they currently have 3), and this was a very nice value hotel. It's a brand new hotel property, everything inside looks very modern, fresh and clean and fits the space/universe theme of Epic perfectly. Our hotel room was very nice, the privacy shade covering the bathroom/sink area from the rest of the room was a nice touch. We got a cool view of SeaWorld and Icon Park from our room which was neat too. We loved the pool area, there is a big heated swimming pool and also a big hot tub and a sand area with volley ball, along with a pool bar/restaurant. The lobby also has a nice cafe restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The best benefit of staying here is the free bus transportation to the parks/Citywalk on property, along with Epic Universe being a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. I'd absolutely recommend a stay at Stella Nova if you want a cheaper hotel that's good quality and close to Epic Universe. read more

We chose this hotel because we can walk to the front gate of Epic Universe. We got a low FL resident price and stayed two nights. Check in was pretty quick after doing some of it ahead of time online. All the staff we encountered were nice and seemed happy to be there. The food was great for breakfast and lunch. It was all under salted to my taste but that's normal for Universal. The cocktails at the pool bar were really good and the bartender was able to adjust the flavors for our preferences because what we ordered was not pre-batched. The pool itself was nice but a little boring. Not a lot of people were around when we were there on a Thursday afternoon. It was cool that the music playing could also be heard under the water. The pool loungers all had QR tags on them to help you mobile order for the pickup window at the side of the pool deck. It's a smaller menu than the cafe inside, though. Our room was a standard view of the parking lot but Epic Universe was easily seen just beyond the entrance of the hotel. It was pretty at night. The double queen room was very clean and the bed was firm but comfortable. I do wish hotels would stop using the a/c sensor only system and allow the unit to keep running. I kept walking up hot and having to trigger the wall sensor to kick the air back on. Especially after a long day in the park, that was annoying to come back to. Over all, this was a good staycation for us and we would come back to this hotel again. read more

We're on our last night at Stella Nova, and the only thing consistent here is the decline. The resort looks great on the surface -- clean, polished, and the man who checked us in was the one bright spot. Our room was solid. That's where the positives end. By night two, the staff energy dropped to absolute zero. No smiles, no acknowledgment, no basic hospitality. Ask a question and you're treated like you've interrupted their day by daring to exist. We ran out of Kleenex and toilet paper. Instead of sending it up -- the bare minimum at any functioning hotel -- we were told to come downstairs and get it ourselves. My son hurt his foot. I called for help. Security arrived, handed me two bandages, and walked away. No concern. No assistance. Just "deal with it." I'm not asking for luxury. I'm asking for human decency. A simple hello. A hint of welcome. Anything. Stella Nova couldn't manage even that. I don't recommend this resort. There are other on‑property options that actually value their guests and don't make you feel like an inconvenience for being here. read more

Biscuits were on the dry side and a coffee was $4.50. Yikes! I could've gone to the Starbucks next to it and gotten something more substantial for only a little more. Breakfast was decent but left some to be desired. It was nice that we could visit here just for food before hitting up Universal Studios. read more

I want to say I had a very interesting stay here this past weekend. Upon arriving, I thought the place looked very nice on the outside. I arrived to the hotel early and they were very accommodating. We were off to a good start. And by accommodating, I just mean, they let us do an early check-in and a late checkout. This is supposed to be a so-called budget friendly hotel. But I've seen the price go well over $200 online which I do not think it's worth it and I'm gonna tell you why. This place charge you $30 for parking which is very steep. I will never get over the fact that you can rent a room somewhere and they charge you for parking. While checking in, the young lady told us that housekeeping cleans your room every other day so if you stay 2 nights, you do not get any housekeeping. For that alone, I won't stay here again. Having to make your bed or figure out where trash is going go because the trashcan is full, Is not something I want to do on vacation. The walls are thin I could always hear people talking outside my room or through the vents. The room itself was spacious, the beds were doable. They have a nice size pool and jacuzzi. There's lot of seating out there and games. Pool stays open late til like 11 pm. The lights in the room drove me insane. They have motion sensors, so if you're not moving around they go off. My family was going to epic we rented 4 rooms, I loved that the park was across the street and they had a shuttle. I stayed here because it was new, but that will not bring me back. read more

We stayed here for my birthday! The staff was super nice and accommodating. I loved the quick service restaurant that they had. It was convenient and a quick turnaround that helped keep us on track to go to EPIC. This hotel is within walking distance of the park but also included a bus transportation for those that needed it. I loved the hotel it was beautiful and there were plenty of elevators so you weren't waiting long to go downstairs. The food we had was so fresh and well seasoned. Would absolutely recommend the hotel. My only reason for not giving 5 stars would be because of the actual room. I wasn't wowed by the shower and would've loved thicker covers like a duvet or something. Its a good enough room to be in for the night but just nothing that was extra special. read more

This is a basic moderate hotel but had all that we needed and I would definitely stay here again! The shuttle is right outside to the various parks and ran often enough that we didn't feel we were waiting too long. The walk to EPIC is also not long though if its hot outside feels longer with the humidity that we Californians are not used to :( The hotel front desk staff is SUPERB! The only thing i had an issue with was that we could not get a cleaning every day meaning we had to come get our own towels on day 2. And they don't have 24/7 service to bring towels up to us. The service at the cafe (grab and go) was also great. We had come from a long day at the park twice and wanted to grab a few things and everything was amazing. From the burger, pizza and ice cream we were pleased. I even got some hot tea on the house! I can't comment on the pool area as we did not get a chance to experience any of it but it stays open until 11 an looks AMAZING from our window. For the room itself, i liked the personal touch of our name on the tv screen, the ability to log into NETFLIX and the soft beds. The bathroom was split so we could use the toil.et and another could use hte sink if needed. Teh shower was also great! If you are going to EPIC on vacation try this place out! read more

The hotel is very bright and open. The lobby is easy to navigate. The CMs were all very nice. The double room is decent in size . The beds are comfy. There is coffee machine and a fridge. The bathroom's size is good. The cafe is nice. Price is reasonable and the breakfast items are tasty. The hotel is within walking distance to Epic. To Universal studio the bus ride is about 15 minutes. Interestingly on the way to US the bus driver made an extra stop at Helios. The bus became so stuffed that we couldn't really breathe. But on the way back it only stopped at Stella Nova. Very confusing. We booked a vacation package and were recommended to this hotel. Overall a nice experience. read more

What a fun hotel. my mother got this place for a Florida residence discount. we met up with her to enjoy the day at the resort and enjoy the pool. They have fast food grill that you can do a mobile order. I ordered fish tacos and they were so delicious with sweet potato fries. My mother got the pretzels and my husband got the hamburger with a salad. My mother said that at night the hotel lights up like stars everywhere and it was so nice. They have a movie by the pool and there's a free shuttle to take it to city walk. I hope one day to get a chance to stay here for like a Friday, Saturday, Sundays stay. my mother stayed from a Sunday till Monday, but I had to go home cause I worked on Monday, but the lobby looks so cool and futuristic and the rooms seem really nice, the room had a refrigerator in the room and a coffee maker as well. This is a newer location and is within walking distance to Epic Universe however it is not high on my list of loves due to the cons we experienced. Overall the place feels very cold and stark and the property and that surrounds the hotel is a massive parking lot sounded by flat basic land with no trees. I am so used to the green lush surroundings of the Kissimme areas this felt like a former bomb site. Pros: Being that its newer its clean. The AC cools nicely and allows the fan to run all night which I perfer for white noise. The floor we were on seemed quiet however I am not sure how full it was. The mini fridge was more roomy than the one we had at the D* Hotel. When we needed something the staff was quick to bring it up. The beds were comfortable. Our room was designed with a very long shelf connected to a long bench which was great because we could just set out suitcases there. The market onsite was small yet seemed to have it all- coffee, alcohol, ice cream, baked goods, grab and go snacks.... They even had a gluten free bakery item (we did not try it). Luckily the market opened early so we could grab coffee before we went to the park(s) for early entry. There are a TON of chairs at the pool and a bar area. It was a fairly short walk to Epic universe and the busses were regularly circulating for trips to Citi walk and back. *They did have food onsite however we did not try it. * Cons: The hotel does not link into the Universal app which was disappointing but not a deal killer. They are not a part of any major chain so there are no perks. There were only 2 pillows per bed so there is no way to prop up to read or watch tv without stealing someone's pillow or using the bolster which is never comfortable. The bed covers are thin and light so for those that prefer to be under a feather bed or other cover with some weight this will fall short. There is no bedside table for the guests sleeping on the outside (2 bed configuration) and only 1 of the two even had a wall plug which was really tough. No patio option and I badly wanted to sit outside of my room. The pool area was massive but felt "off" with a sea of chairs and nothing more. The kicker- the flashing lights. They had some more innovative switches; however the one in the bathroom put off a lot of light and occasionally blinked so it was very irritating at night. Coupled with the very bright smoke detector; I found myself waking several times a night. All in all our stay was nice but for the price you pay I do not plan to return. read more

My husband and I absolutely loved staying here for our weekend getaway to visit Epic Universe. It's not only gorgeous and impeccably clean, but has an elegant, futuristic vibe. You can take a bus to Epic, or if you're up for it, there is a walking path that only takes about 10 minutes. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly with anything we needed. They even stored my ice packs for me since the in-room fridge didn't have a small freezer section (I'm diabetic, so I carry ice packs when I travel with insulin). The bed was also extremely comfortable, which usually isn't the case at most hotels. I wish our visit had been longer, because that pool and game room looked very inviting and fun. Had a great stay at this new and very nice Universal Stella Nova Resort! As far as location goes, it is fantastic and pretty much as good as it gets for a good price. Epic Universe is within walking distance and there are shuttles to and from the park which make it great for mid day breaks in case you want to go back to your hotel and rest. Check in was smooth and quick, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I think Universal is really giving Disney a run for its money as their parks and offerings are superior in some ways. 5 stars for Universal Stella Nova Resort and two enthusiastic thumbs up! Stella Nova is one of the better Universal (but actually Loews) resorts IMO. Clean rooms, helpful staff, large lobby with plenty of seating for casual dining. Appreciated online check-in and them helping with our request for adjoining rooms with separate reservations. Staff on the large were polite and helpful. I found the food at the cafe to be average to better-than-expected for hotel food. The pricing is incredibly fair, again for hotel food. If you're going to compare Stella Nova, Terra Luna, and Helios for your Epic Universe stay, I think Stella takes the cake easily for just being a bit better positioned for walking to EU than TL and a much better value prop than Helios. Speaking of the walk, it's under 10 minutes and since the bus can get crowded and the bus stop is like 80% away from the entrance, we walked most of the time to EU and back with no problems. Just be aware that after strong rains some sections of the walkway can be flooded. read more

Took advantage of their Florida resident pricing and it was such a great value!! Matt was the sweetest and let me check in at 7AM (it was a Tuesday morning so I'm sure the weekend rush was over). Received early admission to Islands of Adventure (by 1 HR) and they provided shuttles to and from CityWalk which was super convenient! I ate the cafe inside as well and the food was good and great portion sizing for the price. The concierge staff member who answered all my questions was exceptionally sweet, friendly, and accommodating. I wish I could remember her name! So kudos to her! It's about 5 to 10 minutes from Epic and across from Terra Luna. I wouldn't mind staying here if I have to in the future but if I had to choose, I'd definitely do a different Universal hotel. read more

I was amazing how incredible the Stella Nova Hotel was! I could write paragraphs upon paragraphs about the small details they put in place to make this feel out of this world! I love the space theme. I am a huge fan of theming and this hotel did a fantastic job! The outside of this bldg glistens in the day, and has a star sky design glistening at night. It's something you can stare at for awhile. The lobby is also extremely spacious and feels like a stop in the galaxy on your way to your next destination. They have a great coffee shop inside that serves Starbucks, as well as a cafe inside with a variety of food. They have a nice gift shop too! They also have a lobby bar, a ton of seating, a covered pool bar, and galaxy grill outside that can even be ordered by QR codes at your chair at the pool! Speaking of the pool, it's huge! It also has a huge hot tub too. The pool is heated and it's open until 11pm on weekends which is great for an after park swim. I really enjoyed how large the pool is so you aren't next to a bunch of people and can actually swim. The third floor starway hallway is a hidden gem I recommend checking out! It's a great photo op as well. Now the rooms are the best part! I thought they were modern and included great amenities. The beds are comfy, there is no carpet in the room which is a huge plus, and they have an amazing lighting package in the room! I love the soft lighting used as it doesn't hurt your eyes and really accents the space themes in the room. The glass shower is also an amazing edition! I love a glass shower in a room as it feels clean in a hotel room. I had a view of Tera Luna (the sister hotel) and it was awesome to view it at night. Also, transportation to the park is complementary as well as Citywalk by bus! Epic universe is also a walking distance way if you would rather walk! I also walked over to check out the Grand Helios Hotel which is only a little over a mile away so also within reach if you would like to see a closer view of the park without having to go inside. I really can't wait to stay at Stella Nova again! It was a fantastic hotel, a great price and also the amenities were out of this world read more

Stayed here in May while attending the Pass holder Preview days at Epic. The rooms here are pretty basic, but comfortable. I was in a double-full setup. Pretty typical room with a large desk/counter area, large TV, nice lighting, and decent views. The toilet & shower are separate from the sink, so it allows some privacy while others are getting ready. One minus is the lack of bathroom counter space. Although, they go for aesthetics, this limits the use of the sink for multiple people. Wasn't bad for 3 of us though. The lobby was very spacious and airily. I really liked this. There was a store, bar, coffee shop, and counter service restaurant. I thought the food was very good and the prices reasonable. Almost forgot about late night pizza delivery. Fairly basic pizza, but was a lifesaver as it was the only thing availed after 10:00pm. The pool area was also very large and had an outdoor bar and counter service restaurant. In the evening, they had a movie at the pool which was quite disappointing as it was shown on what looked like a bedsheet strung up by two poles and it started while it was still light out. A big plus about this hotel is that you have a choice of walking or taking a dedicated bus to the park. It was nice to have a choice and the bus back after a long day is the way to go. My only real complaint about the hotel is that there was no sit-down restraint service. I understand this is one of the lower tier hotels, but it really would have added a bit of class. read more

I loved my stay! You can walk to epic. You can see epic from your room! The bar closes inside at like 10 or 11 on weekdays. It's a cool hotel! There's a merch store, there's a vacation planning desk, and there's 2 quick services spots for food for breakfast lunch and dinner and ice cream and coffee!! I came here on a site tour, so this is just my experience just taking in the vibe for being here for the day. Upon arrival your greeted by a nicely decorated lobby currently is decorated for Christmas. However, the Christmas display could use some work. It looks more like a Home Depot display to be totally honest with you. It seem like their holiday decorations were more of an afterthought. Anyway, going up to the rooms the elevators took a little bit of time to approach, but That was not really an issue. The rooms itself are fine. Relatively large and depending on where your room is you might have a really great view of epic universe. The rooms are of a decent size however, what I can't get over is that they have carpeting. I just find that right now. It's fine because it is a newer hotel but I don't know how this will end up wearing overtime. I also don't like walking and shared carpet spaces barefoot so if you are also like that, I would bring slippers to wear into the room. back down in the communal space the cafeteria area seems a little bit small for the size of the hotel. For a group it might be a little bit difficult to find seating however it's OK because people don't really loiter in the cafeteria area. The food is pretty delicious. I will give them that. I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup and the Elote corn and that corn was excellent. If staying on site I would recommend getting one of their refillable cups because it is a pretty good deal compared to how much it cost to buy a drink each time. The pool area is nice and big and has a little area where you can play as if you were at the beach. It's a white and style pool so that is really nice especially if you need to get acclimated to the water temperature. It was a hot day so honestly jumping into cooler water would have been nice and refreshing but either way when I went to visit, the pool was not really busy, so if you are more of a relax during the day and not go to the theme park, this is the perfect pool for you. There is dining outside and also had a full bar. There are tables and barstools to sit at if you're just going outside to eat or drink at the bar. It's also nice because you're in the shade away from the Florida sun. While outside you can see the twin hotel, which is kind of cool because they look the same but when you're staying inside your own hotel, you can't really see the exterior. The scales on the siding is really cool to go along with this space theme. What's exceptionally nice about this hotel is that there is a walking path to the park however there is not a walking path to the other hotel. Parking here is pretty plentiful however it is an additional cost. If you're going to epic for more than one day I would recommend staying here due to its proximity and the lower price point to Helios. The staff I encountered was very friendly and very nice so bonus points for that but again I don't know if I would recommend this hotel per se, but it was a nice place if you are looking for something pretty close to the park. The reason I don't know if I'd recommend it is because you are still 2 miles away from Universal CityWalk. So if you're only going to epic then yes great however just know that you have to manage in sometime if you are going to the other two parks affiliated with Universal orlando. read more

My family and I stayed here for a couple of days and for the most part really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful resort and I love that it's in walking distance to Epic & that they offer a shuttle service to other parts of Universal. The standard rooms are huge and honestly perfect, one of the best rooms I've ever stayed in. We enjoyed very few meals at the resort itself, but everything we did have was delicious. I think the only part where they need to improve is the staff. We were sent the wrong breakfast one day, ran into an issue at the bar and some other very very small things with team members. Overall I think it's a great resort and would stay again. read more

I have stayed at a good amount of universal hotels and this one was one of my favorites. The rooms were new and had no issues. Also this is the first time the walls were paper thin. Check in staff was welcoming and it was easy getting on the bus over to epic. We could walk Over as well I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay close to epic but looking for a good price. I enjoyed my stay here. A beautiful new hotel with wonderful theming. The public areas reflect the space theme too. The staff provides 5 star luxury hotel service. Every one we encountered was delightful. When Epic opens you'll be steps away from the gate. I think it falls a little short when compared to the other prime value resort. There is one quick serve restaurant with a limited menu. No sit down dining. You only get housekeeping every other day. We didn't see that anywhere on the website. Maybe we missed it. That is a deal breaker for us. We've stayed at several of the Universal hotels and haven't experienced that. We'll stick those hotels instead. If these are not issues for you, you'll be very happy at Stella Nova. read more

The hotel is pretty cool, but they shut down the hot tub because it was too cold. That is really counterintuitive in my opinion. Makes no sense. Obviously people want to use the hot tub when it is cold. Won't be staying here again. Don't recommend it if the weather is below 60. read more

Really cool rooms. So close to Epic Universe in particular and busses running to the other parks as well. Kind and friendly staff. Good food at the sole restaurant, but they could do with a nicer option as well. The outdoor pool and hot tub area was really cool the first night, but they shut it down the second night, supposedly due to weather despite it being a perfectly fair, still night, and that was a bummer as it upended our plans for the night entirely. Otherwise the people were great and the rooms were alright, nothing extra special but still well kept and cute. read more

Had a great five night stay here, it's about as nice as Aventura in the Universal Hotel range. And less noisy than Dockside, I do like it there though as it is amazing value most of the time and I like the food court. Stella Nova is a new premium economy hotel only open a few months and right next to Epic Universe. It's very clean and fresh as you would imagine and the staff were all very nice indeed. Only negatives are the food choices here are only okay and the quality of the food isn't amazing. I had a Calzone one night that was cold in the middle for example. The shampoo over the bath ran out on day one, I had two room cleanings during my stay and it was never replaced. These are small gripes and I would very happily stay here again. The bus service to Epic and the other parks was extremely frequent and well run with mostly friendly drivers. read more

Dirty food court-terrible over priced breakfast in the cafe-Failed breakfast for 5 costing $90.00 We all ordered different dishes and no one in our group enjoyed their breakfast.. Great hotel! Everything is new and clean. The service is amazing! You can text them if you need something and someone brings it up. Wasn't too sure about the WiFi situation because your room number comes up but you can't connect to it. The restaurant also had good choices. The pool is big and heated and there are a lot of lounge chairs. read more

This hotel deserves all the stars. We are passholders and came for the Epic Universe preview. We got to the hotel early to get our keys to enter Epic early. My amazing husband couldn't join us because he had video conference calls all day and they accommodated him by putting him in a little business center til our room was ready(which they rushed). The hotel is very nice! It's super clean and obviously brand new. The food is good and I'm so happy that the coffee bar is open at 6am! I love that you can walk to Epic Universe from the hotel. I will 100 percent be back. read more

Today is the grand opening of Stella Nova and the resort is perfect if you are looking for an affordable option close to EPIC Universe. The staff brought big energy which made for an awesome arrival experience. If your room is an odd number it will look at the pool, and if it is an even number it will look at EPIC Universe. For the best views of EPIC Universe request a high floor with an even number above 70. Example 8072 will be a perfect view of EPIC, where a room like 8032 will be more of a side view.
