January 2 2023 we went to pay $5,500towards the total cost of the ring. We told them we wanted the ring done March 1st so they made a promise date that the ring would be done this time we were helped by MEECH. (The only other person who has taken any money from us or wrote up any receipt besides shoob back in may 2022) But before that sometime in December we went to pay on the ring and the ring was no where to be found took them awhile to find it. So fast forward to today April 11 2023 my husband went to pay off the ring and take it home and was told that 2 days after we paid the $5,500 payment we came in and switched out all of our down payment to a pendent. Which is NOT the case. They were trying to get us to pay $3,000 more to get the original ring (that is not done) then tried getting us to get a different ring that is NOTHING like the original. Also would not give any money back that we put down. So the lady who had been helping us found the ring and all the receipts saying that we exchanged the ring money for a pendent that was not her hand writing it was someone else's. you think they would be more concerned than they were and look into it instead of trying to make more money off you. So now have a ring that I originally did not want & paid more than the ring is worth. DO NOT RECOMMEND they clearly don't take business serious and the receipt they give you obviously mean nothing. This was definitely an inside job done by MEECH HIMSELF. They have cameras that they can see we never came in and switched my ring to a pendent and they will see it was him that did this. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANY MONEY WITH HUTCHES go to Golden sun jewlery! Hutches is a bunch of scammers. Mind you when my husband was in the store Meech avoid any type of eye contact with him because he knows the shady stuff he did. Video-is the ring I wanted with a square diamond and white gold. Thieves. DO NOT GO HERE…read more I took my gold necklace with a crucifix for a simple clasp repair. I should have left immediately when the person behind the counter had a sad look on his face, like he knew something wrong was about to go down. In fact, he hesitated and didn't take my necklace right away. In hindsight, I am guessing he was trying to build up nerve because of his guilt. So, he eventually takes the necklace to the back room, "five mins and you will be on your way". Well After 30 mins and no communication, the necklace was returned from the back room without the requested repair and about 2 inches in length shorter. It felt tight when it was put around my neck by the owner. It had been awhile since I wore it due to the needed repair, I was so happy to have my cherished necklace back, plus I was so frustrated with the time hanging around waiting and it was after closing - they were anxious for me to get out of there. Anyway, I now know why. They knew, I would quickly figure out they stole my gold. When I called back to talk about my experience and my concern, the only response was, "Hey, I am a Christian." Well congrats, so am I and you stole from me. You highjacked a portion of a gift given to me by my beloved wife - a possession that has deep meaning. The owner denied everything. I, of course, have pictures of the original necklace and proof, but what to do now? Live and learn. I am still working on forgiving these people. This review is part of my healing.
