After my exam, I was told I had several issues going on, but I never once felt pressured to get everything done immediately. I explained that I didn't really understand how insurance works and wasn't sure how to feel about everything, and they took the time to sit down with me and explain everything step by step. They went over what my insurance covered, other insurance options, their in-house insurance, and payment plans for anything not covered before moving forward with any additional treatment. What stood out most to me was how no-pressure the entire experience felt. They genuinely wanted me to feel informed and comfortable rather than rushed into decisions. Because of how abnormally my wisdom teeth have grown, I was referred to a specialist. They reassured me throughout the process and even provided another specialist recommendation in case I didn't feel confident with the first option. Dr Foad Farahmound has been my dentist since he started practicing. I switched to Foad and take my kids regularly starting when the oldest was about 5. I had 3 boys. They are now 31, 35 and 37, and had a total of 4 cavities because he protected them starting as baby teeth. My kids grew up thinking of Foad and Farah as part of our extended family. Farah is just as good, but I got to joking with Foad and his schedule fit better so I stuck with him, unless he's not available. I got a root canal from Farah a few years ago and it didn't hurt except the first shot of novacane I've brought them emergency cases and the people have always thanked me. The dental team speaks many languages and have a wonderful rainbow of clients from all over the world, and because they are multi-lingual everyone seems comfortable. There are two highly skilled hygienists there. I go to one named Myanh. My wife had trigeminal neuralgia and Foad was the only dentist she would let touch her face. They keep up with the latest technology, are very careful about maintaining hygiene, and their prices are reasonable. I feel very comfortable recommending them to everyone. I'll start by saying that each office experience has been great! I'm taken back almost right away or within 10 minutes. Front desk staff are wonderful & so friendly, right now I can only remember Perla & Maddie, but they're all patient, helpful, & professional. The quality of care I've gotten, has been amazing - from the doctor's to their support staff. In particular, my General Dentist, Dr. Masoud and my Periodontist/Implant doctor, Dr. Vahid, ​are excellent and are exactly the kind of doctors I want & look for: kind, friendly, patient, and always willing to answer any and all of my questions, even if I had previously asked the same one. It all started with a broken crown that was messing with my tongue - they quickly filed it down. Then we had to pull it out to start the implant process (Dr. Vahid), which is progressing very well! I'm almost at my 2nd cleaning (my absolute favorite!) and another month from now, I'll have my crown impression followed by its placement (Dr. Masoud). I've been a patient of Dr. Foad for over 35 years. He's not only a great dentist but also a kind and caring person. I've always appreciated the excellent care he and his team have provided over the years. Recently, a crown on one of my teeth fell out. After an exam, X-rays, and a panoramic scan, it was determined that the tooth needed to be extracted and replaced with an implant. On the day of the extraction, a different specialist unexpectedly asked for a CAT scan, which would cost me $300 out of pocket--not covered by insurance. Frustrated by the surprise charge, I left the office and have not returned. What disappointed me the most is that no one from the office has followed up to ask why I left or express any concern. On my first visit, I got my cleaning done by John, very gentle hygiene, and for my exam I was seen by Dr. Farah very sweet, caring and Intelligence dentist. She spend enough time to do my exam and I also had free ortho consultation with Dr. foad who is the brother of Dr. Farah. The front desks were so friendly and professional. Dr. Farah is very knowledgeable, experienced, but most importantly attentive to your needs and sincerely cares for her patients. I took my mother-in-law here after reading positive reviews on this site. She had no insurance. The care was excellent and they detailed all procedures and costs beforehand. It was a lovely office setting with toys for my kids and I didn't have to pay for parking as noted. In the end, they gave us a 10% discount.
