He asked if I was from Faribault and when I mentioned I was there for an interview he was really encouraging which actually meant a lot. The place itself has such a cozy small-town feel. It wasn't busy yet since I got there around 9 a.m. so it was nice and peaceful. The decor is adorable and they also have a fun little grab-and-go/shop area with things like soaps, kids items, snacks, and random cute finds to browse while waiting. Food was hot, good, and affordable too. I got the Chicken Fried Steak and a Monte Cristo sandwich. Then of course I somehow left with a slice of cake AND another meal because one of the workers pointed at it and said it was really good. Zero regrets honestly. They actually scan at $4.99! ....that is a huge savings if you are a chocolate fan. you can get a shower here for $8 that's a lot cheaper than at Pilot and TA truck stops!
