We went here because of the pizza reviews. We didn't know what else to expect, but we had a nice evening out. It is a cute hole-in-the-wall-ish kind of bar that has been kept in great condition. We liked looking around at all the pictures and autographs on the walls. We happened to catch a brand new waitress on her second day on the job. She did admirably. The pizza had a nice thin crust and was cut into little squares that were bite-sized for me. The sauce has a kick, and there was a good amount of sauce on it. We got a large bacon, mushroom and black olive pizza, and our only critique was that we couldn't really tell that there were mushrooms on it. We found a couple little chopped up pieces, but not much...you would never know there were any just by looking at it. Anyway, nice place, friendly staff, and reasonable prices! read more

Pizza is supper good! One of our favorite places. The drinks are okay. Not the best in town but for mixed drinks in a bar they are okay. I got a Moscow Mule and it was decent but MIL got Gin & Tonic and wasn't great. I think it's just depends on bartender and what you order. Overall we were pretty happy with the food. read more

The Signature is a favorite to go and play some pool. We always order a little food while playing and the apps are cheap and tasty. The pizza is very mediocre, but for bar pizza, not mad. Overall, a fun place to hangout, play pool, and talk (without loud blaring music). Service is okay depending on the day. read more

In a nutshell: Great food portions and cool bar / grill atmosphere. My Reuben came in a big portion and I went with the American fries (which are just cup potatoes which are then fried, guess I've eaten American fries all my life and didn't know it). Plenty of sauekraut on the sandwitch and big portion size kept me pretty happy and filled up. Check it out, good pricing and big portions if you are hungry, otherwise get the rest to go. read more

Love the food! Their pizza is their signature. Ha ha, get it:). But really, their food is excellent and is at an affordable price. Expect a small town atmosphere bar and grill style. Remember to try their pizza, chicken, or burgers. They literally outshine their competition when it comes to the food. The chicken is hand breaded and fresh (not like the crunchy dry chicken at most places). The pizza is what you'd expect from a long lasting small town establishment in faribault and the burgers always hit the spot. You will not be disappointed stopping buy for a casual eat. Did you know that there is a place where you can get four tap Leinies for $8? The thought had never even entered my psyche but at Signature's, they pull that shiz off during happy hour. Even during regular business hours, their drinks are wicked cheap. And I would personally never do this- but after you've had a few beers and you think you should eat even though you're not hungry, they have really nummy pizzas. Thin, crispy crust with salty sauce and ample toppings. We had the pineapple and ham (ooh baby!) and the Silkey which has a ton of meat and black olives. Meat and olives are not my bag but the others really enjoyed it. Really the only thing that bothered me was that it still smells like stale smoke even though smoking has been outlawed in bars since I've been legal. And grease. It also smells like grease. I guess you could say that it is all part of it's charm? If you're just hanging out with friends and happen to be in Faribault, I would like you to call me so we can have a cheap beer. We come in on Mondays for the $5.95 any size/any type burger specials. Great value, GREAT burgers (with fries included). This is a very friendly, old "Cheers" type bar with a lot of autographed old pictures of famous figures covering the walls, thus "The Signature Bar". So far, they seem to have the best pizza in Faribault. We are non-smokers and have never smelled any smoky or greasy smells, but some others may be more sensitive to smells than us. Love stopping here, very relaxed atmosphere where evreybody is your friend. read more

Heard they JUST got a new chef. The burgers are huge, delicious and a great price! However there was no drink special and shrimp plate was twice as much as the burger with maybe 6 shirmp on the plate? The location has NO windows which on a gorgeous summer day is a bummer as you feel you are in a dungeon. read more

Really, really outstanding burgers! Nice place full of locals, they pour a solid drink, but stay with simple cocktails. The Martini was not good...liked the olives. Get there earlier than later, the patrons were getting obnoxious and loud shortly after we arrived. Friendly staff. read more

I have a hard time giving any establishment a five, but for a bar restaurant in Faribault this may be a five. However we have only been here for the early supper hours so things could change later. The food is all around good but the pizza is outstanding! The staff is always attentive, nice and efficient. One of our favorite places to come when in the pizza mood. I have grown up with this pizza and have a great appreciation for thin crust and amazing sauce. Not only is the pizza great, but it is also a great place to grab drinks with a group. Now back to the pizza, whether you dine in or take out, you won't be disappointed. Also if you are worried about the pizza getting cold on the way home ask for it half-baked and finish it in your own oven. My favorite pizza combination is the pepperoni and Italian sausage (it's got a bit of a kick). This pizza is also great reheated or even cold the next day. I am a bit concerned to the staffing, over the past two months I have either not been able to order pizza (the cooks walked out) or the wait on food was 45 minutes (due to short staff). I hope they figure this out because in my book this is the best pizza in southern Minnesota! read more

We had the jalapeño poppers (with cream cheese) and they were fantastic. Right out of fryer, hot and crispy! Today was Monday and their special was build your own burgers for $6. I had a 1/4 burger with pepper jack, a spicy sauce, and an over easy egg. With a side salad. Salad was fresh, and they gave me plenty of ranch when I asked for extra. The burger was medium well exactly as I'd asked, and the egg was over easy, not cooked all the way through like a chef normally does it when I ask for over easy. I mostly come here when Jivin Ivan is playing, and folks old and young come to dance to the music. That said, the food and drink here is pretty good. Since they put in the new ovens, the pizza is perhaps the best in town. Much of the menu and food is a little dated , but well priced and of satisfactory quality. The food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered cheese curds, and half of them were missing cheese. The curds that did have cheese was of what I would describe as paste. The deep fried green beans were alright, but I couldn't imagine how anyone could mess them up. The service was slow and our waitress would not smile, was unhappy, never checked on us, and it wasn't busy. Unless the bartender thinks you're a 'regular' customer, you will NOT get served. You will get snubbed, ignored and just down right disrespected. It takes A LOT of audacity to have the bartender take winning pull tab tickets and additional money only to be ignored so someone else can get served... To top it off, the 'regular' being served gets a top prize pull tab... as we're left watching. After 15 minutes to be 'considered' worthy enough to be served by another bartender because the 'almighty' one was working with her 'regulars'. Our food arrives and it's cold.... As a customer who has regularly visits the bar, who is not considered a 'regular' by the bartender, we will DEFINITELY not be back after the 3rd or 4th attempt to deal with her.... It is amazing that this bar is still in business. The bartender walked past me 4 times and then went to her phone. She looked right at me and I smiled and waved, still her phone was more important! Finally another bartender came up and took our order and I told her what happened, the bartender more interested in her phone came up and rudely said if I had something to say to her say it to her face, so I did just the facts and not rude. Before we could order our Pizza the poor bartender doing her job told us we had to pay our tab and leave. Now I understand it's a hard job, but we did not make a scene or get angry or start a fight, yell or anything. Hey there are plenty of places in town that serve Pizza and at least you can get service with a smile.
