Leaving Bar Harbor to head home my wife spotted this spot noticing coffee and knew we needed to stop. Inside has perfect rustic vibes as well as it appeared a patio for warmer weather. Located across from the Bar Harbor airport with plenty of parking available in their lot. It's a smart location for those going to or leaving Bar Harbor. Once inside you are greeted with many local made goodies and Maine themed items before you even reach the counter to order. Looking up the large menu greets your eyes to their vast amount of options. Thankfully we had eaten breakfast already so we did not need to browse and decide for too long. It gives us another reason to return though to give the food a try. They appeared to offer all the drinks you would expect a coffee spot to including a smaller selection of monthly specials. These specials usually are what my wife and I go for due to their uniqueness. Which speaking of flavors they may have had the largest selection of flavored syrups I have seen before. I ended up getting their Teddy Graham Iced Latte while my wife got the Peeps Cold Brew. Size wise we both got large and I will say they are not lying by calling their size a large, they are massive. Will keep that in mind if we return. Seating wise they appeared to have some cozy looking booths that looked to be spots some people were working from home. I was looking for a place to grab a quick lunch to eat later, and this place checked all the boxes. They're open early at 7, and perfectly situated on the way to Acadia for a quick stop for coffee/bites. Inside, you are greeted by a warm rustic interior, lots of Maine goodies for sale, and plenty of seating. For their food menu, they have many burrito flavors, with a decent portion size and several vegan ones which was quite nice. I got the Mayan Pilot ($16) which had jackfruit and tasted pretty good, very good if you're hungry. I'd definitely go again if I'm in the area! read more

Mmmm I don't know. Two breakfast burritos and a cup of coffee for 35 dollars? And the coffee is out of a vacuum thermos? Keep driving either way Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Ellsworth... better choices to be found at these prices. The burritos were "okay" but definitely not worth the price. read more

Really cute place with options. I was excited to find other goodies like local jerky and ground coffee we could buy too. My sister's weren't a big fan of the wraps and sandwiches. We stopped here two days in a row to try their coffee and food before hiking. The egg needs salted a little in the wraps. Coffee was good. My sister got a Chai Latte this morning and swears she didn't get her extra shot of espresso in it. I can't speak to that. I had a tasty salted maple latte yesterday and today I had a HUGE Chai Latte. Absolutely delicious drinks! The barista both days were nice and quick. read more

Food was good but the barista who took my order fumbled with the machine for a minute while looking confused before taking my girlfriends order. Suprise suprise she didn't type any of my order or messed it up in some other way and just moved on so when I inevitably went back to the counter to ask where my food was they quickly made it but later someone came over to my table and said I had I hadn't ordered that food and had to pay for as it. Which would usually be a non issue because things happen I understand but then the barista who took my order was like "no you never ordered" which was observably false by the 7 other people I went there with. If she hadn't lied about that it'd fine but that really ruined the vibe for me. read more

Fabulous. Just fabulous. It's everything I want in a coffee & food spot. It's beautiful inside, staff is friendly and chatty, and the food and drink? Let me wax poetic for a second. I got a lavender latte, a caramel macchiato, the Cob Father burrito, and the Bibimbap burrito during today's visit. The latte size was out of this world. It's been a while since I've seen that large of a cup! Very tasty and well made. My husband really enjoyed his drink, which can be a tad difficult to nail. The burritos though, those were on a whole different planet of awesome. The flavors were so, so good. I'm not often in the area, but knowing this place exists will surely bring me here more! It can be hard to make an entrance into the Trenton/island restaurant scene, but I have absolutely no doubt this place will continue to rock it. It's GOOD! read more

I don't think that I can say enough about this little place heading toward Bar Harbor, ME. It is quaint, it is rustic and it has a tone of scratch made items along with items to sell you from the country store as well. The service was super friendly and they made out breakfast quick and timely. I had the Lumberjack burrito that was so jam packed with goodness that it was starting to bulge at the sides ... one of the great touches here with this breakfast burrito is that they grill the outsides of it to create crisp and taste. My wife is a vegan and they had many alternatives for her including an entire breakfast dish that caters to just that. She said it was delicious and hot the spot. The tater tots were also delicious and a larger portion. We will be back! read more

Great coffee shop on bar harbor road near the airport. Really good coffee and great breakfast food also. I had the wild boar burrito and it was killer. Nice seating, free WiFi just overall awesome. Watch out for massive lines during rush onto or off of MDI. Can try online ordering then. read more

We are summer residents who are thrilled to welcome a great coffee shop/cafe to the area. Located on the main road to Ellsworth from Mt. Desert Island ( right across from the Bar Harbor Airport ), it is a delicious stop on the way to any location. The coffee is excellent. We have tried both the drip and the lattes. Also on offer are tasty muffins and scones. If you are hungry for more, try the burritos. I was very happy with my bacon and egg burrito. It was super full of eggs, bacon and potatoes. This coffee house is very inviting, open and airy. We usually grab our coffee and goodies and run, but I am always tempted to sit for a while. The service is friendly and efficient. There is lots of parking. They do close at 3 pm, so plan ahead! read more

Driving into bar harbor and stopped to get coffee and a burrito. The coffee was great, flavorful and sweet. The burrito was also phenomenal. Highly recommend if you're needing a place to stop, on the way in. Serving size was massive, you definitely get what you pay for since it was a little pricier but totally worth it. Do not fall for the tourist trap at this place. I stopped by on the way onto Mount Desert Island because my hotel gave me a 10% off coupon. Even with the discount, the total bill came out to an outrageous $38 for just two coffees and two breakfast burritos.The pricing is pure Bar Harbor-style price gouging, but the absolute worst part was the food quality. The breakfast burritos were entirely inedible. I will eat almost anything when I am hungry and traveling, but these were so poorly made and tasted so bad that they went straight into the trash.It is a complete rip-off aimed at capturing tourists right before they cross the bridge. Also what's with the menu board ten feet in the air at an angle only an Olympic gold medalist could crane their neck to read. Hotels in the area absolutely need to stop handing out coupons for this establishment. Avoid this place at all costs and keep driving into town or hit a standard grocery counter instead. read more

Best coffee shop we've visited on our trip! We love Carrabassett Coffee, so we were thrilled to see it featured in their brewed coffee selection. They had 5-6 varieties ready to go, which was perfect for a quick stop. The breakfast burritos were also prepped and ready--and absolutely delicious! The music selection was on point, and the space was clean, bright, and beautifully designed. We also loved browsing the local gifts, like blueberry jam and lobster-themed tea towels. Stopped in to get a coffee and something to eat. Cute place, friendly staff, good coffee. However, it took 1/2 hour to get two Americanos. All the self serve coffee decanters were empty. I don't know if they were short staffed or simply overwhelmed but the wait was totally unreasonable. Won't be back. read more

Delicious coffee - large iced coffee is very big and potent. Their breakfast burritos are so good and are cooked to order or are grab and go to meet your convenience needs. The pistachio muffin was also very good. read more

Stopped in for coffee, was pleasantly surprised they offered breakfast and lunch burritos! And they did not disappoint! One of the greatest burritos to ever grace my stomach, and so much more affordable than all the lobster I've been eating while on vacation. Highly recommend, 10/10. read more
