Some places were good, some...not so much. I mean, how can a plain bagel with butter...be bad? Well, very easily lol. Went to a place in New Hampshire and it was the worst bagel I had ever had. So when I was in Bar Harbor, I had gone to a few places every morning and none of them were as great as this place. It's super close to downtown and all the tourist shops. So I just figured....expensive. Not at all. The bagel was fantastic! they toasted it just right and didn't drown it in butter like so many other places had on that trip. AND! the bagel was just so damn tasty. I like me some bagels lol The staff was so friendly. Just a happy place. The restaurant/bakery itself is so homey. It's very small...so if you wanna get there in the morning like so many do...go as early as you can if you wanna sit down. It's very comfortable in there. It's like a cute little cottage and you just kind of expect to see your adorable little grandma come out with the most amazing breakfast ever with her acting all sweet and grandma-like lol.
