Best coffee we had in Bar Harbor hands down! Rich and strong espresso-- perfect fuel for a long day exploring Acadia. It was nice to have craft coffee after a few misses at other spots in town. Cute little interior and wish we could've tried their breakfast too. Grabbed a bag of beans to take home and noticed after leaving that they were roasted the day before! I don't usually leave reviews but I felt compelled to after my experience this morning. Everything in my order was incorrect and I'm particularly disappointed because when it already costs $9 for a basic breakfast sandwich and an additional $3 for slices avocado, the least I expect is the order to be correct. I got no avocado and paid $12 for a bacon egg and cheese. My drink was also incorrect. It was a busy morning, but our food and drinks came out within 10min of ordering; which is great but not worth it if it's incorrect. I'd be more understanding if you took a bit longer because it was a busy morning but got things right. For that kind of price the bare minimum is that the order is going to be correct when you're paying a ridiculous amount for add ons. If your price is going to be that high, so should your standards. read more

What a way to start your day! Beautiful views, looking over the marina, tunes, and smiling people! The best Carnitas breakfast tacos I've ever had! This place is incredible! This was the best coffee shop in our whole Maine stay. I got the blueberry maple latte. We drank it outside and watched the boats go by. It's right by the marina. The baristas had great recommendations and the service was fast. Would definitely reccomend! read more

As a local, I was happy to see a new coffee shop open within walking distance of my home. One star for the cute cups & view. One star for a good breakfast taco. But out of my three times of trying this spot, I was left disappointed each time. First visit: Menu outside did not match the items they actually offered. I tried ordering 2 things from the posted menu and was given an attitude by the rude angry cashier who snapped "we don't have those items." Well then don't advertise it. What a bad taste in my mouth from that visit alone. But decided to try it again. Second visit: Had an iced latte and breakfast taco. Breakfast taco was great. Flavorless iced latte sucked. Third visit: Went in for another breakfast taco. Was told they once again weren't offering this item, even though it's on the menu outside. Cashier said I could pick a sandwich from the fridge instead. I grabbed a sandwich and another terrible iced latte. Took sandwich home and found it was two days old according to the date written on it. They charged me $12 on a two day old sandwich lol. So I'm personally left with no desire to go back. Little Notch is much more recommended. Milagro also has superior coffee drinks. read more

This place is so great! As we were walking by, I noticed that it's called a coffee pub and we immediately stopped because I had never heard of such a thing. They have great espresso drinks and my husband loved his dirty chai. We came back the next day and got the draft espresso martini and it was sooo good! The food is so delicious here! We ate lunch one day (chicken salad sandwich and BLT on the most amazing warm chewy bread) and then came back for breakfast tacos the next day. The breakfast tacos are out of this world. I can't say enough good things about the food here. The service is also quick and friendly. Coming from the west coast, I've struggled to find legitimate third wave coffee shops in the northeast. If you're looking for more than Starbucks, Dunkin', or other over-sugared and watered down options, Vacationland, in my opinion, is the only choice in Bar Harbor. You'll get a high quality cup of coffee that won't feel like just a dessert or the bottom of the pot at the local gas station. Additionally, Vacationland has a lot of character due to it's smart cartoon lobster branding and cute location. The service was accurate, friendly, and fast. My wife had three perfect latte's here. The Barista was so friendly and courteous even when she was slammed with customers. The place is cute and decorated well and upstairs they have tables and space to chill out with your coffee and enjoy.
