They have beautiful art and crafts from local artisans - from jewelry to paintings to photographs to ceramic and more. Everything is so unique and special; nothing mass produced. There were several pieces I wanted to buy, but I settled on a small painting and a large framed photo. The only problem is the photo in the frame was too big to take on the plane back home. The store could not take the photograph out of the professional framing, but they took my information and reached out to the artist to see if she could bring in a copy of the photograph without a frame. They called me back a couple of weeks later, the artist had brought in the photo and they were happy to ship to me. I have never had such wonderful service from a store where they went out of their way to make a customer happy. 10/10 definitely would recommend for unique finds, great customer service, and to support local artists.

James Souvenirs Shop is literally less than a 10 minute walk from where the ships dock. As I was checking in to Yelp, James pointed out the sign I missed and gave me a discount for the check in. The longer I wandered, the more items I loved, coming away with her work in the form of two prints and a book of poetry, several cards and a few stickers, as well as a watercolor print onto a tile of Los Tres Reyes by her Nico Thomassin. But it wasn't just the items, the entire place felt warm and welcoming, Lady Lee herself was a gem, and there's an airy, decorated studio space in the back for writing in. According to the sign, on Tuesdays they have an open mic of some kind. If I lived closer I would spend a lot of time here.

They are best known for their decorative tile replicas of homes in the city that can be personalized to your liking. We spend a lot of time looking at all of the options - they have a wide variety of sizes, styles, and colors. We opted for a larger 2-story piece which was more pricy, in the $70 range, but felt it was the perfect piece to commemorate our trip and a transition to a new home together. The woman at the counter was very friendly and directed us to their sister shop just across the street to get the personalization done free of charge. That process only took a few minutes, and we are so happy to have this beautiful piece in our home!
