There were several pieces I wanted to buy, but I settled on a small painting and a large framed photo. The only problem is the photo in the frame was too big to take on the plane back home. The store could not take the photograph out of the professional framing, but they took my information and reached out to the artist to see if she could bring in a copy of the photograph without a frame. They called me back a couple of weeks later, the artist had brought in the photo and they were happy to ship to me. I have never had such wonderful service from a store where they went out of their way to make a customer happy. 10/10 definitely would recommend for unique finds, great customer service, and to support local artists.

But it wasn't just the items, the entire place felt warm and welcoming, Lady Lee herself was a gem, and there's an airy, decorated studio space in the back for writing in. It feels like the studio home of an artist who works furiously around the clock to make and explore techniques while the tropical breeze winds in through every open window. It reminded me that art is for feeling and experiencing in a way that is deeper than standing back and staring at 1 piece at a time on a stark gallery wall.
