The only reason I gave them two stars was because the food is good. We got the Turkey club on Ciabatta bread and it was delicious. The customer service though needs work. It took over 20 minutes to get our food and there was no one in the restaurant. Not once did someone ask if We needed anything. We asked for ranch 3 times Before We actually got it. When my husband went to the counter to see what was taking so long, not one person even asked if he had been helped. He stood there for 5 minutes. The customer service is absolutrly terrible. As I've continued to patronize them I have to remark that the staff is always welcoming and friendly to me, and they've gotten to know what I like and how to make it happen for me. The owner should know that he has a great staff. Cerena is especially nice. read more

Everytime we go there the food is excellent ... the French toast combo is gr8 as well as the Farmer burger. This is my favorite location...

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delish. The fried zucchini with ranch dressing is awesome. My son and I had regular cheeseburger combos. For $1 more you can upgrade the drink to a shake. The hamburger patty is tasteful but if you want a good size patty, order the natural. This place puts in and out to shame (IMHO) the burgers are big, juicy and it seems that they are handmade. The price is right and the people that work there are so friendly. Ive tried Barnburner and Natural Avo Bacon burger many times and it is always good. The salads--ive only tried the southwest chicken salad--is huge, tossed and delicious. I ordered the tuna melt. It was delicious, but it taste better when I removed the tomatoes, which throw it off. I also had a 15-20 minute wait, due to the fact that they only had one cook in the kitchen. I waited that long and my fries weren't hot!?? I've had their burgers before, and their Cobb salad is delicious...however, the other day I told my boyfriend I was craving a good burger...went to order their Barn Burger in a combo, waited a decent amount of time only to be presented with the most disappointing burger I have ever seen. I have been eating at farmer boys for roughly 30 yrs now since original one in perris by 215 freeway/oleander. Came to this place waited 10 mins to place order and to later find out they were out of bacon bits for my salad. So asked cashier if I could get bacon slices and she said yes but would have to charge extra ( didn't make any sense but ok) so I agreed and asked for it to be chopped, manager came by and said they couldn't chop because they were backed up ( 2 seconds would break them) so I said ok I'll chop myself. Then I went to order a farmer burger and was too informed that they were out of avocado. So after that I just had enough and went to steer n stein down the road with great food, prices and best of all great service with positive attitudes. It would be a good idea to open another cashier, place a sign that bacon and avocado were out and most important hire staff (manager) that can manage herself before managing a crew. Ok this place sucks!!! I went a few months ago with my friend Daniel. The cashier charged me incorrectly. I didnt even know. Well when the manager brings my food she asks me what I ordered. I tell her I was so confused by her cashier I just said yes to whatever and payed. She said I wasn't allowed to get what I ordered. But she still had her food in her hand. Usually pretty good. The hamburger comes with pickles. The burger came out with 1teaspoon of sauce and 1 half inch diameter pickle chip. Ruined my expectations. I was too tired to even complain. Hit or miss depending on whos working. The food is good and I have never had an issue with that. Last time I went inside I had great customer service from a manager. I have read all the reviews and I am shocked at the people complaining about the "table service" when it clearly states NO Waiter service. You order at the counter and pick up at the counter. Sometimes they have a person to bring the food to your table when they know where you sat, but I think they should get over themselves. Also the people who gave Farmer Boys a bad score because they would not give them free food...ridiculous. Also, saying the prices are different than elsewhere...nonsense. I frequent both Farmer Boys in Hemet and San Jacinto and the prices are identical. So really it all comes down to the food...one person starts out saying he is giving them one star because the food was decent...but then when he didn't get free pancakes his evaluation of the food became unbelievable. The food here at the Hemet location seems to be fresher to me. Several times I have had burgers from the San Jacinto Location and they were dry and seemed to have been sitting around, like maybe they made some extras during a rush and that is what I was getting. But here at the Hemet locatioin I have never had a bad burger or a cold burger or cold anything as it is always made fresh and hot. As their signs will tell you it takes time to cook your food so be patient because they cook it fresh when you order it. Great Job Farmer Boys Hemet. Keep up the Good Food. I've been eating at FB for a few years but I never felt compelled to write a review until now. All my other visits to this store and others would have rated 4 or 5 stars because of freshness and quality but they really let me down today. While I waited for for my a natural cheeseburger, I heard the recorded announcement that says something like, "Please be patient. Quality food takes time to prepare." Ironically, after over 20 minutes of waiting, the patty on my burger was burnt around the edges and had a piece of bacon embedded in it, which I didn't order. I almost sent it back but I was very hungry and didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for a replacement. I think I would have gotten a better burger at a high-volume fast food joint. And what's up with the combination locks on the bathroom doors? The Page Plaza store is the only one in the area that has them. This minor inconvenience plus a new low in food quality equals me finding another place to eat. read more

went in to farmer boys for lunch today. i believe it was the manager that helped us. she greeted us right as we walked into the place. she was sweeping and stopped hopped behind the counter said i will help you right here as soon as you are ready. my boyfriend got the farmer burger and told us that it came with a free brownie (it was pretty good). i got the tuna melt for myself. it was the best tuna melt ive had. the food was delivered to our table hot and fresh. she came a few minutes after we were eating to ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything. when my boyfriend needed a refill he started to get up but the manager came and got his cup and refilled it for him. im not sure what her name is but im guessing maria because a previous review stated so. love this place. great price for the quality of food and great service. best service ive received at a fast food place in years. also she gave me a form to fill out to get coupons in my email read more
