The breakfast menu is a bit sparse compared to lunch and dinner, and I went with the breakfast sandwich with ham while my mom had the same thing but with sausage. The sammy was decent but didn't have the same je ne sais quoi as the burger I had tried for dinner a couple months earlier. Service was good as always, and staff kept the place clean, I just was a bit underwhelmed by my sandwich. The Cobb salad is very filling, has sweet tomatoes, fresh avocado, sliced boiled egg, and the crispy chicken has a wonderful crunch, meat is tender and very delicious with the housemade ranch, it's so good! Farmer boys has a lot of different dishes and overall I enjoy eating here. I'm from Los Angeles so I always see the sign about a pastrami so I stopped in ordered. Even though the pastrami was pretty good, they don't know much about pastrami. I asked for a dipped and they didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about. The young girl went and got the manager who still didn't know. I wouldn't order a pastrami again because they put it on ciabatta bread so confused as to why it wasn't on a roll and if they ran out why they didn't tell me. The pastrami meat itself would've been delicious if it had been cooked in its own juices and sat there. It was pretty tough and it seems like they cooked it on the grill.. I was so close to LA pastrami it comes with pickles and mustard. The ambience is busy and typically it is the place to be because they serve a variety of things today. I wasn't happy! again. I was craving a burger close to work that wasn't charbroiled. I've always loved their fries and their burgers are tasty, big servings, but shareable and convenient. I had the Farmers burger as a combo meal. I love that they have Pepsi products, and had Pepsi zero. A lot of places don't offer Pepsi zero and have Diet Pepsi as an alternative. My order was packed and ready to go. I was able to order through the drive thru and be back in my office in 15 minutes. Always a great experience and ambiance in store and out. Wow. This place has taken a downturn bigtime. I got a salad and two burgers- one a combo one with just onion rings--$50. Holy moly! I guess I could live with that if it was remotely good. Every time I come here I'm impressed! The burgers are fantastic! They're plenty big for even the hungryest of people. The onion rings are the best you'll find in a casual dining environment. The staff here is great and you can usually find the owner working here as well. All of them really care. I took my wife home a very expensive chicken salad that was like $12. I was a little chagrined by the price, but she had it for lunch two days in a row. So at six bucks a meal that's reasonable. She loved it and said she couldn't wait to have another one. We visited Farmer Boys on Eastern and Russell today and I have to say I got a good vibe walking in, the decor of course always pleasant with the farm animals. They were busy, drive thru, take out and eat in. We were greeted with warm smiles and a Good Morning. Our orders were: Ham & Cheese omelet with hash browns and toast with coffee, a classic chicken sandwich (just the sandwich), and the bacon turkey melt (hold the tomato please) with fries and a pink lemonade. Great to say the wait time was not very long despite the amount of customers in the drive thru and walking in. The kitchen staff was on point with all orders and were smiling as if they were having a blast. (Not something we always get to see when eating out). Restaurant was clean, and everyone pleasant. I will note there was a young couple and their baby having breakfast, if you have a baby or little nices or nephews you know most of the food ends up on the floor and in their chair, the father must've felt bad that there was such a big mess and was starting to pick up the food from around his child when the manager came out and told him, its ok just leave it and we'll take care of it. The father and mother had so much gratitude and I felt my heart strings being tugged. The manager did not bat and eye or make any faces when this lil family left, he grabbed the dustpan and broom, cleaned up the mess and did it all with a smile and still treated each patron as if they were VIP. Kudo to him (I feel horrible because I forgot his name). The food was delicious and hot and so filling I could only eat half of my sandwich so I brought the rest home and devoured it about 2hrs later. If in the area give them a visit, everything I've had so far has been DELICIOUS and satisfying. read more

It had bacon and cheese and guac or an avocado mix of some sort. Beef patties didn't have much flavor but the burger is decent for what you pay for. The chicken sandwich was much smaller in size compared to my sandwich, but my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the fries a lot! Super crispy and never went limp. Everything tastes as fresh as they claim, with generous portions, from burgers to salads to their fish platter. The only downside is that their Southwest Chicken salad seem to have less chicken now (after three past visits).
