A brewery that understands what will make them successful in the current environment. Instead of following the trends, they seem to have figured out the KISS (Keep it simple students) principle and to treat your customer well. Stopped by on way to Chico during a recent visit on a day they were closed. I placed an online order for pickup only to realize when I arrived that the brewery location is closed for much of the week. On me for the error. I've made that mistake previously and dealt with employees who just ignored me and those that chose to acknowledge me that I needed to come back when they were open. The staff here now only acknowledged me, they went the extra mile to alleviate the error. Service was beyond great and they made me feel valued. I visited the Chico taproom/restaurant location and the product matches the service level. I tried one of the infused (peach) beers and it was very well balanced and easy to drink on the hot day. Hard to brew a simple lager that does not have any "off tastes". They seemed to figured out how to do it. Breweries that are struggling can take note from Farmer's. Lots of great beers and instead of trying to become viral with some crazy Quadruple Hazy Hybrid Pastery Barrel Aged Sour concoction, treat your customer well and make a good clean beer and you'll be successful like I think Farmer's will be/continue to be. If you are in the area, worth the visit as you'll see what craft breweries used to be like before it became overly commercialized. read more

I visited here on Sunday for dinner. That elk burger with the blackberry sauce sounds fantastic. Game meat can sometimes lean too earthy or dry, but the sweetness and acidity from blackberry is a good balance. Their beer lineup also gets a lot of love for approachable craft styles and local agricultural ingredients. Their west coast IPA Sun up til sun down was excellent. read more

Coming from the coast where everything is "ocean-to-table" and packed tight, Farmers Brewing Co. is a total breath of fresh air. It is a massive, "farm-to-glass" oasis in Princeton that swaps the coastal squeeze for wide-open space and incredible vibes. The Vibe resonates with a huge seating area, great service, and tons to see. They even offer a facility tour... definitely take it if you get the chance! There is truly something for everyone with their beers. I'm personally a huge fan of their fruit-infused lites, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you're used to the cramped coast, this place is the perfect change of pace. Highly recommend! read more

Visited March 14 2026. See my receipt as always. First of all this place in Princeton is not well marked!! I passed it a few times before I found it! It's on the corner off WW ( see my picture of sign). Then look for the silos. It was worth it because it's a very cool place with nice vibes. They don't serve food but there was a taco truck outside. I had the El Toro beer. Dark and very tasty! Similar to a Guiness. It was wonderful and refreshing! Ashley waited on me and she was very pleasant and friendly. She recognized me from doing reviews at the Slough House! They had some nice merch so I bought a cute Farmer's cup. Since they had some vendors inside I also bought habanero jam and beer bread. Habanero jam was spicy and delicious! Very clean inside with plenty of seating. They do allow dogs but they have to behave ( no barking). Rules are posted! Fun and relaxing time! It had been about six years since we wandered this way. A back road adventure we knocked on the office door and asked for a tour. The tasting room was brand new and only open on weekends (now and then). We were new to Farmers Brewing but that didn't last long. This cold and rainy April day we went for a Sunday drive and happily found ourselves at the Princeton brewery. A stroke of good luck. A good crowd included many regulars. I enjoyed a Thai Mango Farmers Light and Mike had a lager. We also had street tacos from a Willows pop-up - delicious! Ashley Ness, Manager and brewer, was all smiles and 5-star hospitality. The taproom is light and airy housed inside the brewery. Plenty of seats at the bar and tables throughout. Picnic tables out front. Glad we took the roads less traveled from Chico. We won't wat another six years to return. Oh, you'll want GPS. There are no road signs along any of the main roads to show the way. How we ever discovered Farmers six years ago is still something of a mystery. Farmers Brewing has a taproom and restaurant in Chico. Their beers are available at many retail outlets. You can also purchase cases and growlers at the Princeton location - and lots of Farmers branded schwag. read more

LOVE Farmers Brewing. Such a casual, fun vibe. The seasonal brews rotating in & out are outstanding. Summer Kickback is my favorite warm weather brew. Ole Slopperman is their dill pickle beer that's a seasonal beer in the fall. I really like El Toro Dark Lager that's just sounds like a heavy, thick lager but it isn't, the hint of coffee is enjoyable. Garage Dweller Hazy is a nice hazy. Fruity Farmer changes every few weeks & I think the brewer has fun concocting these fruity beers. It's so great having a brewery on the west side. Bonus to have a food truck there too, not always but fairly consistently. The gals behind the bar do a super job & are always helpful & sweet. read more

The beer is super expensive when it should actually be cheaper due to no middle man or shipping costs. The food vendors that come are grifters. Service was good friendly staff and greeted as we came in! This is a working brewery ( not while we were here) we tried some new brews on tap and some old favorites. The Valle a Mexican style lager is a favorite. Food truck available outside but we had already ate. Yes a bit out of the way but not a bad stop. Despite some of the reviews I don't see the negativity but to each their own. We enjoyed the stop. Give them a try. We will and the Chico taproom will be on our list read more

This place is a gem, we keep coming back. A smart selection of beers to please most beer lovers.

We stopped by this super cool spot a month or so ago. Being so far off the freeway prevented us from stopping by earlier, but we're glad we had some extra time to check it out. The parking lot is rocks, with parking spaces marked and well groomed. The decorations outside are a nice touch. Inside is a typical warehouse brewery setup, which is a favorite for us. We like being able to see the equipment, and this facility is very impressive. Everything looks high end, clean, and well lit. Seems they spared no expense on the brewhouse. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a fun "no cat" sign on a door, which led to asking about the cat. Apparently there is a brewery cat that makes the rounds, and sometimes the cat is a jerk. Makes for a fun story. My wife and I had some time to kill, and we didn't know when we'd be able to come back, so we ordered two flights to sample everything. We filled out the flight cards, and while they were out of a couple things, we just swapped in other options. No big deal. To our surprise, every sample was really good. We'd have a pint of anything they make, even the styles we're not really into. As far as constructive criticism, it'd be nice if there was shade for the outdoor seating, and/or more outdoor seating in general. It was pretty busy inside with limited space. Ordering did take awhile, as there were lots of customers, but that's the price of success. read more

Pretty good beer, interesting set of beer tenders! Good selection, the wife enjoyed the 530 and I got the Sun up, Sun Down session IPA. They had someone B-B-Q which was really tasty, the dill pickles were awesome. I didn't catch the name of the vendor, sorry. Nice drive through the farm lands. 1000 times better than the next brewery we went to, which I'm not gonna review. Trying to be a good scout, so that's my good deed for the day. read more

Just had lunch at the new Farmers Brewery location in Chico! All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly! Loved the gift shop! They even have gifts for your pets! And they are welcomed outside! The food was scrumptious! The salad dressing was so yummy: fresh greens and cherry tomatoes that tasted like they came right from the garden! The menu includes meals for the youngsters, too! Patio seating includes a game of corn hole. Took home a couple of growlers with some good beer, too! Welcome to Chico! Was excited to try this new spot left disappointed. Food was terrible, got the BLT and the bacon was limp, it seriously looked like roast beef sandwich. The fries were, well how do you screw up fries? Very disappointed. Wifey said the beet salad was good but hamburger is better at the Banshee. My nephew bought the Farmers brewing company "winter Migration Seasonal series" porter beer! Oh my gosh it is so very good! I am nit a beer conisour but I love this beer! Very flavorful & satisfying! Nice place, super clean and new. Decent beer but nothing I was blown away by. Cute cats hanging out. A few problems: 1) flies! Everywhere inside, landing on your food. Control them or close the door! 2) so short staffed. On a busy Sunday there were two girls only to check people in/seat, man the bar, bus, handle payments. Every time had to stand there at least 10 minutes to get a beer or pay. Need at least two more people on busy days; 3) outdoor seating but no shade in the blazing sun. Get a tent! 4) food--from what I've read seems spotty if food is available and what it is; we had Chicobi's "food truck" but was only a table with 4 cold food options (chips/salsa, hummus plate, shrimp tostada; Turkey wrap). Food was just ok I'd say, we tried everything. Was expecting an actual food truck with a kitchen. 5) they don't seem to answer the phone. Was trying to find out if dog was allowed but no answer ever. Probably bc only two people there! So--cool place to hang out in the middle of nowhere, fix those problems and I'll be back! read more
