Uh Huh! I asked for the denial reason. Submitted receipt did not have some "code" that they needed. I asked why they didn't call the provider direct to verify that code. "Not our policy." There was no getting around that, short of driving to a location to speak with someone. Finally I called my dealership and asked who they were using for windshield replacements. They told me AutoSpecs Glass in Irving. I called. A live person answered the phone. I believe her name was Hannah (please forgive me if I got that wrong). She was Very nice. Answered all my questions and set an appointment for me. Then I needed to reset the appt and she was able to get me in the very next day. The place was not that hard to get to and there was a nice seating area for me to wait. Yes, it can take a few hours - I knew that ahead of time and brought my work with me. Less than three hours later, a young man came in to talk with me about my car, what to expect and what not to do. Then, I was driving away with my brand new windshield. Also, while I was there, someone who had had window and windshield repair done on one of his fleet vehicles, came in to discuss a minor problem with a side window. Imemdiately they took care of the problem and did not charge him. Excellent customer service. And did I mention, the pricing was MUCH better than the other places closer to my home in Plano.
