We've been coming here for years, but this last weekend was probably our last visit. The place needs a serious cleaning...a deep cleaning. And also proper air conditioning. They've been running off portable AC units for years now. This last visit, the bugs/flies we're all over the place. Great spot to grab some fresh vibrant fruits and vegetables; nuts in the shell such as Brazil nuts, pecans, hazel nuts, walnuts; dried lintels, beans, some canned goods, whole coffee beans, and dried fruits. We stopped in after eating at Bayridge Sushi next door. I purchased a quart of dried mangos for about $4 to take to the movies with us for a snack. The stores pricing is on par with farmers markets you would find in downtown Sanford, Longwood, or Deltona. The beefsteak tomatoes, fresh beets, and acorn squash looked amazing and are some of the largest I have seen around. The store is clean and organized. There was one staff member working at the register when we arrived and she was very nice with me when I was checking out. I will definitely stop back for more of that dried mango and some of their other vegetables next time I'm in the area. read more

This is our favorite fresh market in the Altamonte Springs/Longwood area. Brought back together with the help of local donations after a fire ruined the previous location, this family-owned business sells the best fresh fruit, greens and produce I've ever had. There's never a time I don't come here and spend more than my budget. But you can't beat the prices on fresh lettuce, potatoes, my favorite Cortland apples, pot stickers, boiled peanuts, broccoli, brussel sprouts, lemons, limes and more at this little market behind the McDonald's in Longwood. The workers are quite friendly and they also have a great selection of florals perfect for my little patio garden. The only thing is the inconvenient hours. By the time my partner gets off work, they close before we can make a pit-stop here on his way home. And at the end of the day, we prefer this place over ALDI's prices any day... read more

Farmers Outlet is located just off of 434 and while not a huge produce store, they had a decent selection. Prices were pretty much in.line. some items were a bit high and some were low, but for the most part, most items are pretty much what others places would charge. All in all, this was a decent experience and I ended up picking up quite a few different kinds of peppers. read more

Found Asian vegetables I needed and the produce prices were very reasonable. This isn't a big place but it's worth the trip.

This is the greatest little market. Killer vegetables and fruits and lots of Asian ingredients. Great local eggs and interesting frozen section too. Owners are lovely. Sign up for their discount program. read more

This small indoor market is so close to my house, I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner! Upon meandering inside, we were overcome at how many amazing things we found. Sooo many fresh fruits and vegetables at fabulous prices. Fresh picked strawberries, nuts, honey, bread, noodles, peppers etc... this place is a hidden gem. We picked up a huge pomelo, some ramen noodles honeycomb. If you haven't had honeycomb before, this is a must! It comes with a high price tag but is life changing and delicious on banana bread lol I plan to come back more often especially for the veggies. From the outside, the place doesn't look too appealing, but if you are around you need to stop on in and see what it's all about! read more

I feel like this place *used to be great but has slowly but surely raised their prices on inferior quality food. I used to be able to get Thai chilies here that were inexpensive and long lasting, but now they won't even stock them. They've stopped carrying so many items we used to get here, including the Middle eastern style bread and myriad Asian specialty products. What remains seems like cheaper quality products with limited variety and extremely high prices (even considering current inflation rates). I guess it's all good though, as the higher prices and lack of products helped me to discover some of the other pan-Asian markets sprinkled around the area. read more

Great place for fresh produce at a reasonable price. Lots of options. Owned by Korean person, very nice. There is also fish fridge with sushi grade fish, seafood mixes etc. Got some myself. 06/25/2022 - Our family's main choice for fresh fruit and veggies located just behind McDonalds across 434 from Chase Bank & Winn Dixie. They also have herbs, eggs, snacks and drinks. Really easy to get in, choose what you want, check out and go. No big store to walk through. I like trying things I haven't before without having to buy a large quantity to see if you like it. I cook a lot and always use fresh ingredients. So when my friend told me about this place, I just had to check it out. And I was pleasantly surprised!!! This place doesn't look appealing from the outside...and the location seems slightly sketch but a visit here is worth it. This place is like going to a daily farmers market. There's a huge selection of produce, with some of the freshest vegetables I've ever seen. They also have a good selection of fruits and some other local goods, like honey and nuts. There's also some Asian items...noodles, rice, Sriracha sauce, etc. Did I say the selection is amazing already? Because it really is. They even carry exotic produce like daikon, poblano peppers, guava, dragonfruit, and Thai basil to name a few. And omg on the prices!!!! It's so incredibly affordable. Much more affordable than my go to place of Whole Foods. They also have $1.00 grab bags of produce around the store. Definitely worth a visit! read more

I have been going to this market for years. It is family owned and run and they truly dedicate themselves to having the best produce and stock local items as much as possible. I could not be happier with the selection of fresh herbs and hard to find items. They recognize you and treat you like family. When my young daughter passed away that they had seen grow up, the owner hugged me and cried on my next visit and gave me a beautiful purple orchid (did I tell you they sell beautiful plants) because she remembered that my daughter loved purple. She always put extra apples in my bag when she was fighting cancer because she knew she loved apples. I could not ask for a better market! read more

The selection here is very good. I've been in a few times over the past year to get a couple of things that I can't find elsewhere. I highly recommend the boiled peanuts that the market sells. A few friends let me try some of theirs a while back and they were so good that I stopped in to get some of my own. As far as I can tell, several different flavors of the boiled peanuts are offered. I've tried the cajun-flavored ones as well as few others, though I can't remember exactly which. All of them were good, though. I'm not the most avid fan of boiled peanuts, but once in a while they hit the spot. Look for the store next to Subway and in the same shopping plaza as Bayridge Sushi and Luna's Pizza. read more

A friend recommended this market to me and the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a good day. I LOVE the local small-town city market vibe of this place. The prices were very reasonable and everything was well-labeled. I found everything with ease and just loved browsing through everything they had to offer. The market is owned by a sweet Asian family and there are "Asian food products" (for lack of better words) so if you live by this side of town and love Asian cooking, you may not need to go all the way down to Mills/50 to buy your specialty products. I tried the vermicelli noodles (made out of sweet potato starch) and the cashier told me how to cook them in stir fry and even showed me pictures on her phone of how she cooks with them (so sweet!). I went home and tried what she suggested and it was delicious! I recommend them in soup as well. They also have green tea Mochi ice cream in their fridge section and the brand they have is SO much better than the Mochi ice cream they have at Trader Joe's and Costco. I got a bunch of veggies and they were all very flavorful. I plan on returning and becoming a regular. read more

We've been coming here forever, but truth be known, I didn't care for them too much initially. I found shopping here among the narrow aisles somewhat unpleasant, the prices sometimes a little high, and sometimes, the lack of refrigeration for some selections meant they are not always fresh-looking. Over the years, either my own expectations have evolved, just as I know this business has improved. I've now become a fan. For one thing, the variety in produce has vastly improved (but get this - the space is the same!!!). Prices, too, I consider to be very reasonable. We like buying the bunches of organic multi-colored swiss chards for $2.49. Sometimes their watercress or Shanghai Bok choy is 10-15% cheaper than the other farmer's market down close to 17-92 (Fancy Fruit & Produce). I've also had some interesting varieties of apples you can't find elsewhere. They appear to have better refrigeration now, complemented by manual sprinkles - the latter they might want to watch, as it's sometimes not enough (wilted yu choy doesn't invite an eager purchase), and sometimes overdone: veggies that are soggy don't keep well either! They also carry a selection of other non-produce merchandise ranging from ginseng to honey to farm-fresh eggs. I'll continue patronizing this local business as long as they continue to meet and exceed my needs. read more

I am a regular there and exclusively shop here for all of my veggies! I've tried all of the markets and stores around this area and this family is above and beyond the best. They are so friendly every time I come in and give advice on how to cook or prepare the various rare products you can't get in other places. Things they specialize in: Their Asian selection, rare/vast fruits ( different mangos, all the berries, pluots, persimmons, wide variety of apples) They always have fresh herbs cut and bagged for $1 and plants you can buy 2 for $7. Great pepper selection, already peeled garlic, local breads, honey, gluten free cookies and even boiled peanuts. Very reasonable prices. Wherever you are shopping, stop and come here. read more
