Since spending time in Augusta, I've driven past or saw advertisements for farmhaus burger, and being a guy who wont say no to a good burger, I finally stopped on in to see what all the fuss was about. I showed around 11:30 on a weekday and it was pretty empty, so if you want quick service for lunch, come before noon! I decided on their #5, or the B&B haus burger ($9.75). Because of the rave reviews on yelp, I also got their sweet potato tots ($3.50). What did I think? So the B&B was a big burger. It comes with two patties, bacon, grilled onions, blue cheese and Mayo. Patties were juicy, which was good, but they lacked flavor themselves...which was bad. The bacon and blue cheese made things a bit more salty but the blue cheese flavor got lost (also bad). I think if the blue cheese flavor was bumped up and the salt was pulled back, it'd be a really good burger, but for now It was just okay. I love tots, so when I saw the large sweet potato tots I was pretty excited to take a bite. The problem with the tots for me? They didn't taste all the way done. What do I mean? So the sweet potatoes were chopped into fine pieces and fried that way, but I could taste the individual pieces of the sweet potato, that were kinda falling out of the fried breading. I just wasn't that great of a fan of these and probably wouldn't order them again. Located off of Flowing wells road, parking for Farmhaus is shared with another business, but the lot is large enough where parking shouldn't be a problem. There is access to a red light and two exits from this lot. Customer service was super friendly and helpful, so the southern hospitality is real here, and the service was fast, getting my burger and tots in less than 10 minutes of me placing the order. I wish I liked Farmhaus more than I did. I'll very likely go back in the future, but it's just going to be a while before I do. Still, check them out and see what you think! read more

DELICIOUS!!! I have to be careful when eating out and this restaurant more than delivered!! From the homemade, soft, mouth watering gluten-free bun to the tender and juicy cheeseburger patty's. Cannot forget to mention the hand cut, gluten-free, salt and pepper fries!!! Although a little on the pricey side, it was worth standing in line to order. Even with my dietary restrictions, the wait after ordering was minimal!!! Definitely give this establishment a try!!!! read more

This place wasn't too bad. You walk in, order and pay for your food then it gets served to you. The people who work here were pretty nice. The food was decent also. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the huge bowl of chili cheese fries. Those weren't that great. Other than that everything else was good. I was kinda bummed that most of their beers were in cans. I must have ordered the wrong burger and picked a bad day for service. Our burgers took 22 minutes to get delivered to our table, the bread was stale but soaked in margarine and the fries were cold. I think my burger got dries out and cold waiting for my husbands meal. The chili topping was mostly a pasty concoction of beans and canned jalapeños. My husband ordered a B&B burger but he didn't finish it due to the soft squishy bacon and bread that fell apart. I had such high hopes for this place since we had a good time at their downtown location. It was a disappointing meal on every level. They need to work on their timing for sure. read more

The most disappointing meal I have had from Farmhaus. Normally, I love this place. Today, I ordered delivery from Augusta to Go. I ordered the B&B and my burger arrived with NONE of the B&B toppings..... no blue cheese, no bacon, no onions. Because we had already paid, we had no choice but to continue to wait. I would more-so understand if they were slammed but I would only consider it moderately busy that Friday night. Great burgers and hot dogs. One of the very few places in Augusta that have gluten free options. They actually have locally made gluten free buns for both burgers and hot dogs. Both this location and also the one on Broad st are the best in Augusta. This was my first time trying a milkshake with booze in it and I'm absolutely glad I tried it out. And the hamburger was just as awesome too. I'm very glad I took the chance to try the milkshake. Definitely recommend this place altogether. And can't forget the service. I'm going to start by saying that the only reason I'm not giving it a five star rating is because the service provided at the register was horrible . 1. It was our first time , the young lady didn't even greet us , I approached the register and had to talk to her first then while my husband and I ordered she talked to us as if we were a bother. 2. We let her know we were military and she then rolled her eyes and picked up the phone . 3. The food was delicious The establishment was clean and very nicely decorated . The burgers were great, but the menu didn't have as large of a selection of burgers in comparison to other burger restaurants/joints/bistros. So, I customized my own burger with Gouda, pork confit, bacon jam, and pork confit on a gluten free bun. It was great. My pal ordered the Farmhaus style and loved it. There was a solid selection of beer and other cocktails to choose from. All of the employees were friendly, but the line and wait time for the food was long. Try to avoid peak hours and don't come if you're already hungry. Between waiting in line to order and waiting for our food, we waited an hour. Regardless of dining in or taking out, there's only one register to order at. It would've been nice to just order at the table and not stand in line, especially with so many great places to eat nearby without long lines. read more

We got a carry out order to eat the Savannah brewery. When we got their to pick it up they told us they were pulling the order together and were making us fresh fries. We waited about 10-15 minutes. When we got to the brewery 5 minutes away every thing was ice cold. My veg burger description said it had garlic aioli on it however it did not. I guess you had to indicate it on the order. The coleslaw was old and brown. It was the worst meal we had on our week long vacation yet it came highly recommended. Our whole party was disappointed. It might be best to eat in. If you are from out of town like I am, you would be forgiven for not expecting much from the area where this restaurant resides. Of the restaurant itself, the exterior is a bit unassuming, hiding the great food that is in store. In the year that I've been visiting the area for business, I have tried most of the food here, the staple of which are their assortment of burgers. Let me tell you, words cannot adequately articulate how delicious they are! I would say that these burgers are among the top 3 you will ever find in the United States and abroad. The place regularly offers non-menu item 'specials,' which really adds to the fun of trying new flavors that are available for a limited time. They also offer alcoholic shakes, which is pretty amazing and adds a nice complement to my burger in this trendy casual atmosphere. Lastly, they offer tremendous value by giving discounts on their burger late at night, so keep that in mind. They also support the troops! By far my favorite burger place in Augusta so far! On my 1st visit, the customer service was unrivaled. The lady explained every option in great detail and made some great recommendations. They have military discounts which is a BIG plus. So far, we have made 2 visits here and have yet to be disappointed. The customer service is always awesome! I ordered the burger with the fried egg on top twice and I don't think that I'll switch anytime soon. We usually order fries with bacon and jalapeños which is plentiful for one person, or if you have a smaller appetite then it may be good for 2 people. We also usually order a pitcher of a beer which is similar to Angry Orchard, so if you like AO then you know what to expect. Our tab usually comes up to about $44 which isn't bad for 2 burgers, 2 orders of fries & a pitcher of beer. I rate Farmhaus a 5/5 and definitely recommend it to every burger lover in the area! read more

Location is a bit weird, off the freeway, down the street, beside a gas station, a 3 star hotel, and an industrial area. Walked in on a Saturday evening around 8ish, sat at the bar. Not full, not really busy. Bartender asks what I want, I get some samples before I decide on a beer. It's cold and crisp. I order a signature burger (southwestern styled) and fries. Fries and other sides are not included in the price or the $11 burger. TVs with college games going, that's cool. Food arrives, nice and hot, which is great. A very small cup of fries inside of paper beside my burger. Fries are not as hot as the burger, so they were done first and waiting. The paper inside the cup appears to be more of a deterrent than anything, preventing one from getting too large a portion. Didn't know potatoes were that expensive these days. Fries aren't bad, pretty salty. Could've been better if they were hot. Burger tastes very good. Not overly seasoned, cheese melted nicely, but can hardly taste the hatch chilis. It has two patties; why not just make them thicker and give serve one? Meat is cooked to a nice medium, much appreciated. Bun is just okay, nothing special. Comparable to a soft brioche. Lettuce seems crisp at the base, the rest is very soft. No other veggies, but I didn't ask for anything extra either. Bartenders are attentive, which is good. Overall this is just an average place serving average food in an average town. Nothing stands out. And the food is definitely not worth $11 plus $3+ for a side. I will not be returning. read more
