My friends and I visited in the fall- it was such an aesthetic atmosphere. The service was great and quick too! The seating is cute and comfy and the cider was delicious! The only complaints we had were about the parking situation which was probably only a problem because it was a Friday evening during their busy season. And the fact that they only had a food truck which had the longest line ever.

My husband and I love this place! It's a cute little spot nestled in the woods. We live an only a couple minutes away and frequent this place often. The staff is always super friendly and there's usually a tasty food truck present. We love the wide variety of ciders to choose from which are always so refreshing. I would recommend this place to anyone in the GR area!

We were extremely excited for this experience! We decided to visit during one of the snowy days we had to get the full experience renting out the igloo. To get here you go down a dirt road and pull up to a farmhouse and the cider building. The concept is renting an igloo either a dining one or a lounge one and enjoying a meal or drinks inside of it. The location provides a list of food trucks available on the days you plan to visit given that reservations for igloos have to be made ahead of time. There are parking spaces available but not paved and limited. There was a spot for handicap parking which I appreciated. I do suggest during winter weather that the area be a little more clean for both the handicap parkers and those in the other spaces too. Maybe a paved walkway to the igloos or Farmhaus. Igloos can be reserved ahead of time on their website. Each one is available for 50 minutes giving staff a few minutes in between to clean for the next group. The cost is $15 per 50 minutes and your card will be charged when you reserve and it's non refundable. Our reservation was for 3pm and they do tell you on the website to arrive early to order your food and drinks. This amazing concept of having food trucks on site while the location provides the purchase of beer/cider. But it only works if everyone is on time. The day we reserved their online calendar details what food trucks will be onsite. That day it was Pizza Parlament the Green Truck. We arrived at 2:40 to get some non-alcoholic cider, donuts, and check in for our igloo and order our pizza. The food truck wasn't open until after 3pm. When it opened we placed our food order right away 2 pizzas and breadsticks with no cheese. We did not get our pizza until 3:55 and since it was past our igloo reservation time we were not able to enjoy our food in the igloo we rented. Although the igloo was very warm with its own heater and was clean, we were really bummed we had to pull our kids out to eat inside the Farmhaus which was already very crowded given there was a party going on inside and all the seating was picnic style. We did ask the staff if there was a way we could enjoy our food in the igloo but she said no because they were pre booked which is understandable. She did offer us a coupon for two free drinks for a next visit but we don't drink and unfortunately didn't like their hot cider but it was a nice gesture and we felt acknowledged. We did purchase some donuts that were so soft and flavorful we LOVED them! Unfortunately, I think the timing wasn't met today. The website showed the food truck available starting at 2 for orders when it actually wasn't. Overall the experience of the igloo was good and we would hope to try again but maybe bringing our own food seeing as it's an option listed on their website.

This venue definitely feels like it's in the middle of no where but it's super close to Grand Rapids. They have signage but you have to be looking for it so you don't pass the street. Casual setting in a woodsy venue, highlighting hard cider from their family-owned farm, plus there was a Pizza food truck and a food truck for the puppies to even get goodies there today as well! YES puppies are welcomed and there is plenty of space for them. Loved that they are open year round. We enjoyed the " I don't know if I like cider yet " flight and took in the surroundings. My favorite from today was Skinny Dip Sunset and the salted Carmel. Loved that they had fresh flowers on ALL the tables and the QR code to raising roots flower farm of interested in going to Jension. Bouquets and stems get restocked at Farmhaus Farms by them for purchase so go grab your flowers, a flight, and baked goods (the best donuts in West Michigan I swear). I love that they also had a s'mores kit available for purchase plus all the outside fire pits were rolling so you and the family could make mis afternoon s'mores. Yummmmmmm so good.

I thought the cider was mediocre and donuts overpriced $13.00 for 6 donuts! The parking is well orchestrated to get in but walking to your car at night can be scary as it's dark and not well lit.

So, I'm a beer drinker. Pretty much exclusively (if I'm having alcohol). I kind of put off visiting Farmhaus because I was pretty sure I wouldn't find anything that I really liked. I was dead wrong! I had no idea there were so many varieties of ciders, and how different the flavor profiles could be! I guess it's kind of like beer; you need to try a few to find out what kind you like. I had a little flight of six, but then also ordered a shandy that had blueberry and lavender in it... oh my gosh, it was so delicious! Though I think that was a seasonal flavor. It was called skinny dip bloom. The atmosphere is also unlike any other place I've been to. It's down a dirt road and nestled into a bunch of trees. There are a few different outdoor areas with tables, firepits, or benches for seating. There is a small area inside as well, but I wouldn't expect to sit inside. If you've heard of them but haven't visited yet, I definitely recommend trying them out!

Farmhous is about a 25 minute drive from Holland, but worth the drive. Off of a gravel road, is an old farmhouse , surrounded by large trees. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is a variety of large picnic benches, and chairs around firepits. The atmosphere is relaxing. The staff were patient and friendly, while we selected the ciders for a flight. There was a variety of dry and sweet varieties. They do sell ciders to go. They do not serve food, but there was a food truck. Overall, a great hidden cider house .

Hidden gem! We love Farmhaus and the food trucks that come! Farmhaus is tucked away in the country in the middle of farms, but it's worth the drive. They have a pretty large variety of ciders and they're all exceptional. The inside has minimal seating (picnic bench style), so you may be sitting next to a stranger (who may become your new friend!). There's also seating outside next to the fire or they also have igloos (booking well jn advance is recommended). Lastly, they don't have food of any kind, but they do have food trucks that visit! The schedule is listed on their website.

Cool people, cool place, and even better cider…read more People's Cider Company is one of the few places, as a woman, that I feel 100% safe to leave my drink unattended. The owner, regulars, and bartenders are like surrogate brothers/sisters and watch out for everyone there - new acquaintances and old friends. Everyone is marvelously welcoming, and the place has a quirky local pub vibe. The place is small and intimate, so you don't walk in without walking out with new friend. I have brought my young daughter here for years (we grab a Fanta from next door at Chicago Style Gyro for her - that glorious place is a whole other 5 star review) and the people here treat her like their beloved niece. This will be the place she celebrates her 21st at. The cider here is unimaginably delicious. The seasonal selections and the staple flavors are all wins. Devout beer-only drinkers, hard cider experimenters, and cider connoisseurs will find something delicious to drink there. And every dollar stays local -with all local ingredients and local production. I highly recommend stopping by in summer to experience grabbing a cold mug of PCC cider, finding a seat in their patio, and watching the cars go by while the sun sets over Leonard. And the hot cider in winter is soul soothing especially while watching the snow blow outside.

Let me tell ya the cider at Peoples is not your 1990s cider at all--it was awesome!! I had the Ginger Adams--3x(still got that beer mentality where ya stick to the same beer all night) but my comrades tried a variety of ciders where each had their own unique tastiness: sweet for the Zema crowd and different levels of dry for the more traditional drinker-afficionado. The environment is fantastic as well--small, small Irish pub with some vinyl you can request to be played. The barkeep shook my hand and introduced himself with my first order. This place gives ya hope in the fact that others in the world still accept all types of people as PEOPLE. There was definitely a regulars group present but just like diehard Lions fans, we were welcomed aboard with enthusiasm. My new favorite pub in GR--in fact the only authentic genuine pub in the city. Love it!

As I was reading the Michigan BrewTrail magazine I ran across their advertisement page, and was confused that it had a Grand Rapids address so It prompted me to do a little research. After a deep dive I found out that they are a farm/farmers market and a restaurant, cider/winery. If you Yelp search you won't find their restaurant, cider/winery because it pops up as Ed Dunneback and Girls Farm Market. This new Pink Barrel Cellars page should help separate this from just a farmers market, and help highlight some of their amazing food and drink. I went on their last day of live music according to their online schedule. When I showed up the parking lot was full and there was well over 100 people there. If you go inside you will immediately notice that this place is so much more than a farmers market. In the back they have a bar serving some amazing ales, seltzers, stouts, ciders, and wine by the glass. In the middle they have fresh donuts, wine by the bottle, fresh fruits and vegetables for sale. Near the front they have a food stand. All the employees were spectacular and very informative. I had many questions, and they were all very Knowledgeable. Found out they have a few beers that have won national beer awards. For lunch I wound up ordering the pretzel with beer cheese, and ordered a honeycrisp ale. The shareable size of the menu isn't joking. It's very large and you're gonna want to share. I was so full after my pretzel that I couldn't even think about a second beer. The beer cheese was the BEST beer cheese I've ever eaten in my life. It was out of this world. The beer was also pretty spectacular. The beer was so good that I couldn't resist the urge to buy some wine by the bottle with the hopes it was just as good. I enjoyed everything at their outdoor seating while listening to live music. If I had gone with someone I definitely would of taken advantage of cornhole and drank wine by the glass. After eating I couldn't resist walking around the farm that had a ton of people running and smiling. In the back I observed the piggies, Eddie and Joe, napping. Also got to say hi to their pony's and goats . I walked through the orchard, and also the pick your own pumpkin patch. They have a huge slidefor the kids, and a playground. Highly recommend following this place on social media to stay up to date on menu changes, and event updates. Such an eventful Sunday afternoon. Definitely worth the visit.

I'm not sure if they still do u-pick apples, hayrides, corn mazes etc. or not. We ordered a meat, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, a couple coffee drinks, and a doughnut. The employees were not overly friendly or even really smiling, so I agree that they could have been friendlier - they all seemed to be high school or college age. Our order was done quickly and we settled in to eat. The sandwich was hot and the croissant was buttery and soft. I really liked the crispy bacon on the sandwich.
