I love the variety of candies and they are constantly adding more. Some of the boutique and "gift" items are not the best quality-a lot like items you'd see on Shein or Temu, but they are decent. The only downfall we have found with this shop recently is inconsistent hours. There are many times that we pass through and would like to stop, only to find that they are closed. You can go on their Facebook group and see closing and whatnot, but not everyone passing through is part of the Facebook group, so that isn't helpful to all. Shelves are packed with old fashioned candies, local preserves and james, small household items and even a bit of clothing. It feels lived in and authentic, the way a general store should. A friendly lady rang up my purchase, a fridge magnet and some pimento cheese that ended up being breakfast and snacks for the rest of the day. Priddy's is also known locally for its weekend music gatherings and community events, something that you can see mentioned in tourism guides and Stokes County historical notes. I am super pleased that I stopped in because it is one of those places that rewards curiosity and looking past the cover. They encourage you to shop around other stores and see that they are offering very fair prices. They have a great selection. I got a La-Z-Boy recliner from them. After about a month I just wasn't happy with the looseness of the fabric. We went back in and Zack said no problem, without even seeing it. They came to my home, picked it up and had one of their upholsterers fix it free of charge to us. He did an excellent job and it was returned to us quickly. Rumple did not hesitate to make this purchase right, while being friendly about it. You rarely can find customer service like this anymore. They will be my go to furniture store from now on. Susanne was very patient and helpful through the process even though we spent hours pouring over fabrics before making our final selection. We never felt any pressure during the selection or sales process. Delivery was made the day after our custom furniture arrived in their store and set up was professional and courteous. Rumple has a great selection of furniture, truly something for every budget. They offer free delivery within a certain radius of the store. We weren't optimistic, and even less so when we saw a rough looking warehouse building inside a fence right under the power lines on Forum Parkway past the Tractor Supply. Boy were we in for a surprise. JD Salvager now specializes in modern furniture (mid-century especially), carefully selected and professionally restored. The warehouse is packed with amazing pieces. If you ever wanted to furnish and decorate your house like Don Draper's apartment, this is the place to do it. We had been looking for old stereo cabinets for our turntable and record collection and JD Salvager had 2-3 pieces that fit the bill. They also have some that they restored and added Bluetooth connectivity to so you can listen to your Apple Music collection through a vintage cabinet. We spent about 2 hours in the place just admiring the collection. And the prices are more than fair for beautifully restored vintage pieces. Many of the pieces there are yet to be restored so you can have your say in how that is done.
