If your priority is variety, flavor, and exploring multiple cuisines, CookUnity absolutely has you covered. As a pescatarian, I have plenty of options. When I try to go dairy-free or egg-free, the menu becomes a bit more limited, but if you're vegetarian or pescatarian, you'll have an abundance of flavorful choices. The nutrition facts are also completely transparent, making it easy to track macros or watch your sodium. Plus, the app is an absolute pleasure to use and incredibly intuitive. The best part about CookUnity, hands down, is their customer service. No company is perfect, and I've had a few spoiled meals, delivery errors, and a moment where a UnityPerk wasn't applied due to confusing wording. However, in every single instance, the support team has been understanding, supportive, and solution-oriented. In a world where some companies fight tooth and nail to keep your money, CookUnity is generous and client-forward. Every representative has been thorough, detail-oriented, and proactive. You can tell they take feedback seriously to improve the product, which creates a real sense of collaboration. Otherwise, delivery is great and I really appreciate their eco-friendly initiatives--the meal packaging is completely recyclable, and the larger insulated bags get returned and reused. My boyfriend and I genuinely enjoy picking our meals every week, and we look forward to exploring different flavors without the labor of cooking in the midst of busy days.

This was my first time seeing one with roasted duck though. Just a heads up that the street felt a bit sketchy even though it's near the edge of Chinatown. We were unfortunately harassed by someone outside of the store and ended up giving him a few dollar bills... *Chinese Sausage Mala Wrap $10 ** The lap cheong was spread so evenly throughout that I got some in almost every bite. The mala aioli was quite spicy, but not overpowering or lingering. The crispy shallots added such a nice crunch too which I loved! *Duck Tsangwich $16 I was quite surprised that the roast duck skin stayed crispy! The crackly cookie topping could've been thicker since it was pretty flat. They give you chili oil on the side, but it was already super flavorful with the hoisin sauce. Only thing I wished for was more cucumber and scallion to help balance out the richness.

It seemed mayo-based, and the flavor came across more like a sweet honey mayo than a bold Sichuan mala. 4/10. Ordering was quick through the walk-up window, and there are benches outside for seating. It took about 20 minutes for the wrap to come out. The wait for the Duck Tsangwich was around an hour, so we skipped it this time, but we'll definitely be back to try it.

In helping him troubleshoot the block, I learned of this amazing take out sushi that is unlike any other take out I've had before. We went for the Joji Box 1 and I wasn't sure what to expect but wow. This little box of goodness rivals some omakases I've had in person. The fish was fresh, and the rice was perfect temperature without falling apart. Even the box felt like it was a high end gift box. Everything is tucked away in this box: chopsticks, napkins, sauce dishes, fresh real wasabi, and even soy sauce from a tiny bottle. What a treat. Also their spicy tuna is easily one of the best I've had in recent years. Just wow.

I'd splurge on it if you want to treat yourself to a good "to go" lunch or dinner. Definitely do so if you have corporate meal allowance. I was always curios about Joji Box but it' s not cheap - so like many I wondered if it was worth it. Eventually took one for the team. The first time I got the omakase box I didn't love having to sauce/wasabi it myself but I think that's just being picky. The last time I got the omaakase box, the omakase chirashi and the maki flight. The omakase box is a good assortment with a shimi, salad, two maki rolls and 10 nigiri. The pieces vary with premium ingredients like kinmedai, ikura, uni, toro, etc. It's costly at $62 but I think you get what you pay for. The chirashi had a variety of sashimi, lots of ikura and plenty of sushi rice. It's very good but for $50 I'd rather kick in more $ for the omakase. Maki Flight is great, $21 for a sampling of their three best rolls. It's 12 pieces total but they're nice size with a good amount of filling. If you're looking to treat yourself for lunch or maybe a nicer dinner takeaway - solid choice. I'm convinced enough that I'll try Joji for real one night.

Wonder's Mission: "The destination for every craving without…read morecompromise 20+ menus. One order. $0 delivery fees. Wonder's exclusive dishes are made to order in local kitchens" I was in the mood for a Mexican bowl and decided to try Limesalt by Wonder Bay Ridge. There was a nice promo of 20% off $20. I was able to pick from favorites such as burritos, bowls, quesadillas and tacos. I decided to order burrito bowl with guacamole, fresh veggies, sour cream and white rice. I was able to pick hips and corn salsa as a side and Harney and Son's Lemonade for beverage. Here's the recap: 1. Burrito bowl was plentiful, delicious and filling with a generous portion of guacamole, veggies and sour cream. 2. Chips were fresh and loved the corn salsa with a kick. 3. Harney and Son's lemonade: not bad not great just bland but the bottle it was gushed in was cool. This is the second time I ordered from Limesalt and am pretty pleased with the consistency of freshness, options and deliciousness. *review for delivery only

I've ordered a bunch of times from Wonder from their numerous "restaurants"…read more I will say from the stuff I have ordered in the past it's actually pretty good. I've ordered Tejas Barbecue and their smoked turkey sandwich is amazing. Streetbird has some tasty and pretty good fried chicken. Royal Greens salad bowls are very good, they're huge and all the ingredients are fresh. Fred's Meat and Bread make some really good burgers, very tasty and filling. Wing Trip makes great wings and if you want to order for huge party they have options for large combos at decent prices. Detroit Brick Pizza has some awesome meatballs with parm/red sauce and garlic bread. What's really cool about ordering from Wonder is that you can mix and match from different restaurants and pretty much makes your own meals which is a great idea. My only complaint I have with Wonder is a "restaurant" named Limesalt. They absolutely suck, the food doesn't taste fresh at all. It tastes like they microwave it. I've order twice from them and it'll be the last time I'll ever get Limesalt. They don't heat up or toast the tortillas when you order burritos, when you get the burrito it's a sloppy/soupy mess that falling apart and what's worse is that the food is not even warm. This has happened to me twice now so I'm pretty much avoiding them like the plague. There's dozens on top of dozens of real Mexican food in the area so when I'm craving it I'll order from one of those instead. Other than that Wonder is pretty good, I wish they had more "restaurants" to offer or at least switch up with a new one every so often or at least monthly instead of the same old thing they're currently offering. I'll continue to order from them because they do have some decent to good food. So hit them up if and when you're in the area or get the app to order, just avoid Limesalt (yuck)
