Very confusing situation here, is it a public restaurant or a private club? We stayed, were put away from normal rooms on outside deck. Menu is very average offering standard bar type food. Wait service is good, but club management and customer service has to improve for general public to feel welcome.

Like the good event manager he is, he was proactive, anticipating concerns in advance--he even arranged for my nieces and nephews to have a space of their own to play during the reception. The space itself is a beautiful throwback to Frank Lloyd Wright's take on modernism. The staff was responsive to the needs of our guests, and the food was excellent--more than one person commented that it didn't taste like "wedding food." Many thanks to Lee and his staff for their help in making our wedding so special.

The fairways and greens were as good as I've played all year in MA, NH and CT. The layout is great and many of the views are beautiful. It's a challenging course, but not overly so. Back 9 tougher than the front, but both are fun and challenging. If you're spraying the driver, keep it in the bag. Of the criticisms - this one is ridiculous: "In more than one case you literally tee off INTO another tee box. It defies logic. The place looks like it was hit by a meteor. " Utterly ridiculous - NOWHERE do you tee off INTO another tee box, that is idiotic - maybe he should have checked the map on the card. Nor does it look - AT ALL - like it was hit by a meteor. Construction is limited to base of clubhouse area and not near any holes. They have the building - which is really unique and modern looking - and are working around the base of the building while STILL having a nice outside patio area and inside bar. So, NO - no meteor strike... The cart paths need some attention (potholes) - big whoop - other than that, the place is awesome. Ordered some food and drinks at the turn, but since they were busy, they had us go ahead and start the back 9 - they drove out the food and drinks to us on the 10th tee which was great! Staff very nice - really went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The smash burgers alone are worth the trip. We'll definitely be back - maybe this fall - but once they're done with the clubhouse this place will be really special.

Their golf simulators are very impressive and combine radar and camera technology to faithfully recreate some of the best courses in the world, including St Andrews, Pebble Beach, and 120+ others. A professional organization I belong to held a gathering there last night and had a great time. We ordered and paid for our drinks through their big bar through a QR code, but you can still pay the old-fashioned way with cash if you prefer. We had plenty of their pizzas which were quite yummy. Our golfers had a blast and I should point out that although some of the other customers I saw actually brought their own set of clubs, Back 9 can hook you up with their clubs for men, women, lefties, righties, and kids. And of course, plenty of tees and balls to whack into their high-definition screens. We completely understand that the facility has every right to monitor alcohol consumption and prevent inappropriate behavior. Nobody wants people getting sloppy or disruptive, and we respect that. However, there's a much more professional and respectful way to handle it than what is done. We are unsure of her name, but the female manager present made us uncomfortable as she was constantly staring at our group throughout the evening instead of simply communicating expectations directly. The alcohol restrictions are also entirely ridiculous- I specifically was told by the bartender that I was being watched for alcohol consumption after having 2 Coronas in a time span of 1 hour and 45 minutes. The restriction on alcohol itself is not the main issue -- it's the way it is handled. We have felt watched and punished despite the fact that nobody in our group was loud, inappropriate, or intoxicated on multiple occasions. I also want to note that the bartenders have been spectacular and are always very nice. This is specially about the manager and the way she acts towards paying customers. When you're spending over $200 on the simulator alone, a little courtesy and respectful communication would go a long way. We really do like this place, but experiences like this make us hesitant to come back.

This is a community of people who have been golfing here for 15+ years, it would be nice to get treated as such, rather than having every move watched and reviewed by these new corporate policies.

My family and I have been going here for several years. Paradise has become our favorite place for…read moreour summer relaxation. This is perfect club for virtually all ages. Most middle and high school kids may want a summer with different interests since this is a hang out place for young kids with their parents and grandparents. However, many high school kids seem to enjoy working there as life guards and seem very well trained. Frankly it's been perfect for our summer months as a family. Perhaps the "country club" part doesn't apply as much as it did when it was first made I'm fine with that. Most of our kid's time was spent swimming, reading a book, have a lunch outside, playing in the woods, and playing tennis. As a teacher this place was my go to place most summers. Our kids have learned to swim and play tennis with great young teachers who are very positive and supportive. They also have activities run by high school kids. If you are looking for a place to spend your summer vacation as a family this is a very well run facility with very family oriented staff. We have many wonderful memories of Paradise. I can't recommend it enough.
