As I sit and write this review I have the biggest smile on my face because Farrah changed my life. I have long struggled with my brows for years and trust me I have tried EVERYTHING in the book to get them to look like the perfect brows that we all see every day in the magazines, on youtube vloggers, and even instagram models. I'm the girl who never wears make up and I'm very adamant on just grooming my eyebrows (religious wax session every 3 or so weeks) to keep it "being natural". But I live in L.A., and here "being natural" is for sissies, so I started researching alternative eyebrow solutions. That's when I stumbled upon microblading. It seemed like the best answer for someone like me, whose eyebrows ruled everything around them but refused to grow. But considering I don't even have a body tattoo, a face tattoo (semi-permanent or not) seemed like too big of a commitment to stomach. That is until I met Farrah. The girl can do it all, Farrah is an eyebrow and permanent makeup specialist based at a salon in Upland. She even has a license to do hair. After pouring over pages of before and after pictures on her instagram page, I made a consultation appointment. Even before the actual appointment, Farrah was already communicating with me via text messages, she asked for pictures of my eyebrows for her to study. All my concerns melted away within two minutes of meeting Farrah. She took me back to her work area where I bombarded her with a tirade of more questions about the procedure. She politely answered each and every one of them. She measured my eyebrows, drew on my face and consulting with me all through out. She handed me a mirror and showed me what she thinks is best for the shape of my face. This was the final bit of convincing I needed--if this was what she could do with my natural brows, I could only imagine what results a microblade would render. We went ahead and move forward for the full procedure right then and there. Farrah will describe every step of the process with you, she is very organized and sanitized. Farrah tries to match the shade to a client's natural hair and skin color profile as closely as possible. At the very low price range for a full procedure, microblading with Farrah will be the best beauty option for a girl on a tight budget. I have to start by saying, Farrah is AMAZING! I have very light, very thin eyebrows, and I was tired of filling them in every day. Microblading is a great alternative to tattooing because it's semi-permanent and doesn't look as harsh. Farrah pays so much attention to detail and she's kind enough to include a retouch a month later for free! I've been making a 1.5 hour commute to Farrah since August 2018 and she's worth the long drive and the money! I looked everywhere within a 250 mile radius and a fair price, and Farrah is THE BEST out there, I researched for months because a tattoo on your face is no joke!! I finally decided to see her and now my mom is her client too. Farrah is not only a professional, she is a true artist. She is super clean and careful, and goes the extra mile to make you as comfortable as possible. She is a perfectionist and takes her time doing things the right way no matter what! Farrah is super clean, professional, patient and a great listener. She did what I wanted and not what she wanted; which was one of my fears. I wanted her professionalism for measuring and telling me where my eyebrows needed to be but I also wanted to have a say in the final shape and design. I had my speech all planned out but there was no need to give it to her when I was finally there, lol. I am extremely pleased with my brows and it feels great! I had absolutely no brows and for years wanted permanent makeup but was just too afraid to do it until my sister told me about Farrah. Now I wake up every morning without having to draw anything in...which is SO NICE. I can not wait to go swimming this summer and not have to worry about them smearing off, my morning routine is so much shorter, my brows look the same everyday and I even feel like I look younger!
