Tony was extremely professional and precise while recreating my dream wedding ring. Highly recommend for any jewelry services.

While I didn't end up buying anything here today, I liked their selection of jewelry and the prices are reasonable with a helpful staff would recommend them.

I was beyond glad that I chose Farwell's Fine Jewelry to repair my wedding ring. The owner was such a kind man and very friendly. I needed a lose stone fixed and the ring to be resized. Not only was this work done within one day, but the quality of the work was profound. My ring was so beautiful, just like the first day I received it. I would highly recommend anyone needing any jewelry repair done.

The shank broke on 5/11/2026, and I took it back on 5/12/2026. The lady who waited on me made a loud production about their one-year warranty and how the damage to my ring was outside of the year. It was 3 weeks outside of the warranty. It was unprofessional behavior and there were other people in the business who could hear her admonish me. She said she would speak to the owner and get back to me. I received a text message on 5/13/2026, stating that I could pay $40 for the repair. I picked up my ring and took it to another jewelry store who looked the ring over to give me an estimate. Attached is the picture I took when they explained that the work that had been done was faulty. There are bubbles in the shank and you can see the lines where the metal was added to upsize the ring. So much for over 30 years' experience in the business. I would expect this type of customer experience with a corporate owned business where profit is the goal over everything else, not from a "locally owned business that advertises that you can trust your precious family heirlooms with them." Update/Response: The ring was not bent nor had it been sized before. I hardly wear this ring, and I never wear it for work, around the house or in the garden. I received this from a grandparent, and it was a size 4 or 5. Fircrest is the only jeweler that I have had size this ring, and that was in April of last year. It broke at the seam of the metal that was used to upsize the ring to a size 8.5. The jeweler that looked over the ring was not impressed with the work and there was no discussion about the ring being bent or sized multiple times.

Donna greeted me with a genuine warmth that told me she loves what she does. She's incredibly patient, taking the time to explain the nuances of history in the antique pieces, the metals, stones, and settings in a way that makes sense. She encouraged curiosity, inviting me to try on anything that sparked joy, no pressure--just possibilities. Brandon and Sean kept the energy high with their easy smiles and readiness to help whenever needed. The whole team made it feel less like a purchase and more like a thoughtful journey toward something meaningful. When we decided to upgrade our wedding rings, the experience only got better. I found a beautiful Art Deco piece that just fits what I was looking for perfectly. We both found pieces we love, the price was fair, and the service was flawless from start to finish. If you want a jewelry shopping experience that's educational, stress-free, and truly welcoming--where you're treated like family--this is the place to go. Five stars from us.

Brandon was the first to help us and apologized saying he didn't realize we were waiting. Again, no big deal he got right into figuring out what we had come in for. We said we wanted to look at engagement rights together and wanna see what we like and don't like cause how can you know unless you go try some on. We were then sat down with another associate, Sean. Idk if he was just looking to make only money that day but customer experience was horrible. He was asking what I was looking for I said I'm leaning towards a Dutch marquise but know they're hard to come by so I wanted to see marquise in person on my finger to get an idea if I'd like it in real life. Brandon had already laid out some marquise for me beforehand so Sean showed be them again and then talked AT me and explained what I wanted was an elongated hex... thank you, thats great to know although both are correct. He explained what cut and clarity were. Not something I was confused about but again, thanks. He pulled up some from his source and told us how much they were and it felt as if he was trying to make us leave or scare us away by mentioning the prices. Then he asked for timeline and my boyfriend didn't wanna say exactly what the timeline was in front of me and it's like a switch went off and he just wanted us out of his store. He was like okay well here's my card and lmk when you guys are ready. And then we just sat there in an awkward silence for a moment cause he dismissed us so fast we couldn't even process we were being kicked out lol. Anyway... I would not recommend coming here unless you can be perceived as being loaded, if you get what I'm saying. Horrible customer service from Sean. Brandon however, was great. Really wanted to support a jeweler local to us but I could never spend money at a place that treats their potential customers like this.

There are not a lot of options in Centralia or Chehalis when it comes to locally owned, specialized jewelers. Centralia has a very talented one, though, in Salewsky's. I have taken my watches there a number of times to either fix/repair/replace the band or replace batteries and have no complaints. It's family-owned and the husband/wife that own the shop along with the son are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Every time I've been there, they have taken the time to listen to what I needed and asked any questions they might have. Once I was there when a young couple was working with the son on selecting either an engagement ring or wedding rings (I couldn't tell and I didn't want to eavesdrop too much). The son was very helpful in their search - giving lots of samples and choices for them along the way. When you walk in you can tell that they take much pride in their store and the items for sale. They have a pretty good sized selection of nearly everything (watches, earrings, bracelets, rings, etc.). I'm a sucker for watches and their selection is envious, especially their pocket watches - which I have always loved! They also have walk clocks and other knick-knack type items. What they have a great selection of, and what I feel they specialize in, is their antique jewelry. It's beautiful. All types of the jewelry that I listed above are included in the offerings of antiques. I am in no way an expert on jewelry values and prices - and especially when I comes to antiques, so I can't attest to their prices; but their "for sale" items seem to be a wee bit on the high side of the market. Their services when it comes to batteries and fixes are very reasonable, though. The owner even repaired one of the bands for free when I mentioned that it was first repaired just a few weeks prior. All in all, I do like going to Salewsky's Jewelry and recommend it as a place to get things repaired and shop for something new (or antiqued). :-)

I should have turned around then. My Older Grandmother clock had not been oiled or checked in years so a friend recommended this place. The rude owner was far more interested in chatting with her than what I had to say. I have had the clock back several months and still must adjust the time each week to keep it current. I did not have to do this before. The place smells of mold, there are a GREAT many items on display and none of them are priced. When I asked about prices he said "what item". I asked him to look at my fathers gold watch to see it's value and he said it not worth anything. Well, just the gold case is worth something. He said it was not gold but when I asked him to test it he learned that it was indeed gold. I would not trust this fellow again nor recommend him. There MUST be better places than this.
