I got two items to go - the chicken broccoli ziti and the cheese lasagna. Both were completely tasteless and had no seasoning whatsoever. The cheese lasagna is literally 3" of ricotta cheese in between two lasagna noodles. It's all ricotta. Clearly nobody tasted anything before it went out. This is a great place to grab some lunch from the deli or salad bar. We got an Italian sub and sat at the little counter in the corner where there were five or six chairs. It's really cute inside, with displays of high quality specialty items like pastas, sauces, preserves, Italian sweets, etc. It seems like the perfect place to fill a gift basket for a host, or get ingredients for a nice homemade dinner or charcuterie board. We didn't get to try any of the baked goods but they looked fresh and delicious. Prices are fair, variety is great, and the ambience is lovely. A great addition in this location! I love places like this that are more than just your average sub shop, but less overwhelming than a grocery store. They have a large salad bar and lots of homemade/specialty items from other local small businesses. My husband and I came in on a Saturday afternoon to grab lunch. I ordered an Italian deluxe sub while my husband got the chicken parm. They have 3 different kinds of breads to choose from and I didn't really like the sub roll I chose. However, they certainly didn't skimp on toppings! My sub was packed to the brim with tons of fresh meats & veggies. I will try it again on different bread. We also couldn't help but grab some pasta, pasta sauce, garlic bread and cookies while there as everything looked so delicious. We will definitely be back to try more things! read more

Only place I have found I can get Deano's ravioli on a Sunday. They have great Boars Head sandwiches (I like the Deluxe Italian) and a nice selection of good home made salads. Last night I discovered just how awesome that staff is. There was a small mixup with a clam plate, and the the team at Fasano's went way, way above and beyond to make it right. We are so happy to have this place open in Braintree. They have a deli, salad bar, prepared food and meats. I ordered the salad bar, which was such a nice change for lunch! This place is a welcome addition to Braintree. Maybe they still have some tweaking to do. Looking forward to the summer, you can't dash in for quick sandwiches and head to the beach. It's painfully slow. The hot food at the ordering station for the subs doesn't work. Move it elsewhere! The whole process needs to be quicker. I had a very limited experience but given what it was, it's a 1 Star. I have been looking for a good Italian market. I wanted some high quality parmigiano cheese to self great. One would think an Italian market would have this. Instead they just carry like a 6oz? plastic wrapped Boar's Head block of cheese that you can buy at any generic supermarket like Stop&Shop. I then saw meatballs i. The case. So always looking for a good meatball so I decided to get 2. There was only 1 person ahead of me and it took 8 minutes to be helped. There were a few people working and it was almost like I was invisible. What did run me the wrong way is the lady in-front of me asked for "1/4 of the broccoli rabe". The bald gentleman working says I can put it in "this container" and holds up a small container and the lady says ok. I watched the scale. He gave her .69 of a pound, more than double what she ordered. If they sell it by the pound, he should have given her what she asked for. It just seemed like an odd action and irked me. I got my 2 meatballs and trust me, I love garlic, but these things tasted like eating a clove of garlic. Not good. So yeah, 2 meatballs and a guy working behind the counter that gave what he wanted to give and not what the guest wanted is enough for me to give 1 star and not probably never return. read more
