Came in to pick up a cake and some pastries. The lady behind the counter was so rude and honestly seemed to be racially prejudiced. I felt very uncomfortable. The fresh bread was soft and delicious with a crispy exterior. The pastries don't disappoint. We got slices of peach praline pie, a slice of rum cake, and four cookies. We ordered a pie for Easter since the slices were so good. Check out the Italian jarred and boxed goods on the right when you enter. This review is based entirely on bakery items and service. I recently discovered this little gem in a strip mall in South Weymouth on Route 18. I stopped by this pastry shop to get some dessert. I decided to try out their boston cream pie. The yellow cake had a custard filling in the middle with chocolate ganache on top. It was very moist although the chocolate ganache was a tad sweet. It's not to the level as Omni Parker's but still very delicious! They also sell cookies, biscotti, and gelato. Besides pastries, they also sell olive oil and jams from Stonewall Kitchen. read more

This bakery is fabulous; I ordered from them for my son's Rehearsal Dinner at Stockholders in October and everyone raved about the desserts. I ordered the assorted pastries and cookies (withour use of nuts-for nut allergy) and everything was so fresh and made from scratch, the most delicious pastries I have ever have and I've been to a lot of bakeries! We had some leftover , as I planned we would allow people to take home or back to the hotel rooms , and everyone took a container. My daughter picked up a lemon filled cake for my birthdaythat was probably one of the best cakes I've had. I usually don't eat the frosting, but on this cake it was fantastic. I stopped into Pasticcini after someone had mentioned it. I went in and got there version of the "Hostess Cupcake", I have to say first I have tried almost all the bakeries on the south shore...Cupcake Charlie's for example and a few other popular ones. This cupcake was hands down the best cupcake ever! The cake was fresh/moist...the cream filling was just perfect! I have found my new bakery. I stopped back in a week later picked up the Raspberry Cream Puff and that too was amazing....the light fresh puff pastry with the best cream filling-drizzled with raspberry. I know where my next Birthday cake is coming from as I would recommend this bakery to anyone looking for something new. I am glad I found this bakery and will definitely recommend to others. One and one half cupcakes cost me $71.10. Even though she told me she guaranteed her product, when I called to tell her what happened, she offered me a store credit. I declined the credit.
