I used to love this spot when it was in Norwalk. It has absolutely plummeted in customer service and the selection is awful. The store is not well kept and dirty which explains why many clothes items have stains on them. They offer a discount when you follow them on social media, I did and was told I'd get the discount, they didn't apply the discount and wouldn't refund my card. This wasn't a small discount at 10% of my order that was nearly $20. They only take store credit for returns. After years of loyalty, this will be my final stop. With how quick online shopping is, there's no reason to have to go through the headache of shopping here. read more

I came into the store earlier today the only two people working, followed me around the store. As soon as I walked around everywhere I went they followed, pretending to fix things or grabbing the clothes. I would touch so unprofessional I felt very targeted when I proceeded to go to the front to pay for the one item I got they acted like I wasn't there and I had to wait a while until someone acknowledged me even though they were following me around the entire time in the store. read more

Came to express my disappointment regarding both the product quality and the level of customer service experienced during my recent visit to this clothing store. In need of a new pair of pants I went in and selected a few pairs in my size, completed the purchase and left. However, upon attempting to wear them the following morning the zipper wouldn't work. In an effort to resolve the issue, I returned to the store after work the same day to exchange the defective item. Unfortunately I did not have the tag or the original receipt because my husband cleaned and threw out the trash while I was at work, upon explaining the situation to the employee and despite presenting a coupon that was given to me at the time of the purchase that included the purchase date and my receipt number on it I was met with the unwavering policy that even if I had the original receipt she could not do anything unless the tag that was on the pants was attached. I have never heard of a store not even accepting a receipt but I even offered to show her my bank statement with the business name and total amount but I was turned away and this rigid stance was upheld even in the face of a malfunctioning/ non useable product. Ive worked customer service I totally get needing to verify a purchase before making an exchange but I had more than enough proof to prove that I bought the pants. I am disappointed by the lack of consideration shown towards resolving a genuine problem that wasn't my fault but the fault of the quality of their product. I basically paid $44 for a pair of pants that cannot be used and after being a regular customer for years I will no longer be returning. read more

They had a variety of cute shirts and jeans. Not just floral print. They did lack accessories but I just enjoy looking I don't wear it.... Evelyn was friendly. It was shortly after grand opening the fitting rooms have been declined to customer access due to supposed pandemic precaution. Today when trying on a light garnet in front of therevmirror l was confronted rudely by the business manager for it. She claimed, it made another customer uncomfortable. The facts are clear. They do NOT employ enough staff to manage the fitting rooms and expect patrons to jeopardize themselves with financial cost loss by only granting you store credit if your unsatisfied with your purchases. I shopped here twice a week prior, but will not furthermore due dresser policy. If that policy does not change, l predict this establishment will not thrive for long. I've been coming here for years. This store carries a good selection of quality clothes, from special occasion dresses to office wear/everyday dresses. The prices are reasonable. I never have trouble not finding something I like when I'm in the mood to shop here. Fitting rooms are spacious which I like because I'm a tall girl with long arms. This is great because I'm not having a battle war with myself while I try on outfits, like tilting over or bumping onto walls. And the store plays good music which is a bonus. read more

I normally shop at this store, whenever I need a quick outfit. Now I was excited because their dressing rooms finally opened. I tried on some clothes and when I was done, I left the two items I didn't want with the number for the dressing room, tell me why the employee or owner, runs to me, grabs the shirts that were in my hands and says "Are the tags still on" & feels for the sensor on the shirts. Accusing & assuming I removed them in the fitting room???? ... I was in disbelief, my mom was with me and we could not believe what she just did. If she thought I was going to steal, why not just ask to take the items to the cashier for me until I was ready to pay (where I was walking towards anyways). I told the cashier about what happened and she just said sorry. Now why have a business in predominantly Latino neighborhood if you're going to be prejudice or racist towards the people who keep your business running. I can see that this has happened to others just by looking at previous reviews. I wish they would actually train their staff on how to be decent people and employees. read more

I always get compliments on my clothing and I pretty much get most of it from this place. Not only do they have the best in fashions ,but they have amazing prices and incredible customer service as well. They have everything you need here not just clothing but jewelry, accessories, shoes, and lingerie, and even work out/ exercise attire...I've been to a lot of little boutiques in and around the area and this is by far the very best! Another great thing is that they have every size from extra small to a plus size section. I wouldn't even give this place a star, I have been coming here for a long time & loved it but now I will no longer be a customer, I bought a shirt (is on the receipt) & they didn't put it in the bag, being that I had a busy day that day I didn't notice until the following day, I called & they told me to call the next day to speak to the manager that works then, as if they can't communicate amongst each other, one girl told me that she would call me later in the day , she never did, I then called the next day & was given attitude by everyone as if my situation was nothing but a complete bother to them, they said they have to go over security footage to see if it was put in the bag & they would call me 2-3 days. I haven't been to this store for about a year. The sales associates who were walking around, were very friendly and helpful. However, the new manager Chang or Chan... was extremely rude, and was staring at everyone, including myself in a rude demeaning manner. She was watching me like a hawk, as well as the rest of the customers. One customer noticed Chang's dirty looks, and mentioned to me,she would not be returning because shopping in that store was very uncomfortable. I even saw this manager give a dirty look to a child, who was minding his own business with his mother. If this is the way Fashion Boomy, treats customers, I will not be returning. I will let family and friends know how customers are treated at this store. There are plenty of other fashion stores in the area, who don't follow customers around and give them dirty looks, or seem "bothered" when they ask a simple question. read more
