We, the humans, often need more training than the dogs do. My current girl has been training with Deb since she was four months old. I am a big believer in constant training for socialization and fine tuning. Deb uses harnesses rather than choke or pinch collars. I was skeptical at first but now find I have better control with my big dogs and I know I am not hurting them. (She sells the harnesses at her cost. You can buy them online and pay more.) The people that I have met in class have often been clients for years and that really says something. There have been a few I have seen not want to do the work and then complain. If you pay a trainer with great credentials as Deb Moody has, why wouldn't you follow her advice and instruction.

So when we found hound haven which is a short drive from home it was convenient. I could go home unlike if you go to a location in town and I have to find things to do in town. I wanted to hear from someone who knew my struggle, man. The struggle of owning a dog that everyone else thinks is a bad animal.
