I work Monday - Friday and my availability is 4pm & after and on weekends. It's been VERY hard to find appointments that fit my schedule and I already had paid the 600 bucks. First lesson was good. Second lesson was canceled 15 minutes before it started on coastlines end. While I understand things happen, I felt completely abandoned by the fact that all they could do was schedule me 3 & 4 weeks later which is 1 week before my drivers test appointment and I still have not even been on a freeway. They didn't do anything to help compensate 1 session or find me an earlier appointment. I'm stressed and just upset at this entire situation

Both of my daughters had him as their instructor, and both passed their drivers test the first time. Yes, he does take the time to talk to them and explain to them, not driving 100% of the time. But that is absolutely necessary. He quizzes them on questions they may be asked, is sure that they know where essential parts of their car are located, and provides Youtube videos that they can watch on their own time. With our first daughter, we went along for one of the lessons, and learned a lot ourselves. My younger daughter, who is very judgemental, says that she really learned a lot from Chuck, and has no problem commenting on and criticizing driving habits that I have picked up over time when I am driving. Usually prefaced by "Chuck said that you should...." He has his own hybrid car but did the lessons with my 19 year old daughter in the car that she was going to be driving for her drivers test and thereafter (which was our choice). If possible, he will take your child on an anticipated route that they will have for their drivers test to give them an idea of what they might expect. Unlike another reviewer, I did not wait until the last minute, enrolling and taking the test in a single two-hour sitting three weeks before it was due. I had no trouble navigating the lessons and progress was tracked accurately. Yes, you have to navigate back to the main menu to take the next section. Two mouse clicks. Got the certificate along with a follow-up email saying the it had been filed. A few days later I got an email saying the court had seen it. All in all, the course was easier that I expected, faster than I expected and everything it advertised itself to be.

This driving school is poorly organized and seems more interested in taking customers' money than…read moreproviding reliable service. They canceled my behind-the-wheel DMV test appointment without notice, and I nearly missed my driving test. The only reason I was able to take the test was because my instructor, Felix, genuinely cared and advocated for me. He managed to get the school to switch the schedule back at the last minute so I could make it. The school also refused to give me a refund for the canceled appointment. Instead, they let my instructor take me to the test by canceling another student's appointment, leaving her behind--even though she had already taken the day off for her test, just like I did. They also canceled one of my driving lessons without any explanation and didn't even inform the instructor. The only good part of this experience was Felix--he's the best driving teacher, and I wouldn't have passed without him. I wish I could have taken lessons with him directly, without dealing with the school at all.
