Fleming Auto Salvage & Wrecker Service

Do not go with Fleming Auto Salvage and Wrecker Service!…read more I called for a tow due to a simple flat tire that needed replacing. Unfortunately due to the drivers negligence while attaching my car to the tow-truck, the rack and pinion gear were bent and punctured the power steering bellow, now Fleming is denying any responsibility for the damages. I have never once had any power steering issues with my car prior to them touching it and now I am on the hook for their mistake. I understand that accidents happen, but I shouldn't be held liable for damages made to my vehicle by others. I am a mother of two, one with special needs and I require safe and reliable transportation... after paying for the tow, the owner, Cliff has refused any responsibility for the damage as a direct result of the removal of my vehicle, the cost of the repairs is now 1800$. With it being so close to the holidays, this is more than problematic! I would encourage others to seek any other company for towing assistance, Fleming is demonstrating a complete lack of integrity and care for their customers. It is shameful and ultimately dishonest.

The front desk was courteous and when I arrived for the appointment, the greeting was prompt and professional. The service was completed in a timely manner and the pricing seemed very reasonable. I stick to the recommended service intervals other than preferring to change oil at 5k mile intervals vs. the 10k suggested by the manufacturer. Based on this experience, I'll be back.

His response " then you dont pay, we will get it right and you dont pay". Their $1400 repair failed to fix the issue. When I brought it back up to them, they held my truck for 3 weeks only to finally tell me that if I wanted them to fix the truck I would have to pay $1600 more. Nothing but lies from him. Even claimed I told him what they did made it a little better when I never said that. I had told him I could feel a difference in how it rode with the new parts, but that it still had the same issue. Lies for that whole three weeks that they were working on it. I drive past thier shop for work multiple times a day and my truck just sat there. Only to be told later he wasnt going to keep his word. Wouldnt recommend, I was treated very dishonestly here Also, turns out the owner might like to beat up pregnant women in his spare time. Wow, would really avoid this place

My wife and I recently purchased a vehicle from Step One Cadillac in Fort Walton. I had been in…read morecontact with one of their sales people and had decided on the vehicle and the price before coming to the dealership, as we were coming from out of state. We drove 4 hours the night before our appointment, which we had made with the expectation that it would help streamline the process. Unfortunately that did not end up being true. There were multiple errors in the paperwork that the salesman showed us. We ended up having to stop and restart the paperwork with him three times before even getting to signing documents with the finance department. Errors in name, address and email, all of which was information they had ahead of time via our licenses and email correspondence. Another error being not including the discount incentive for financing with the dealership. When we brought that up they tried to push back and say it was already included, but since the price was agreed upon before we arrived we knew this was not true. Upon starting paperwork with the finance department, the paperwork was once again wrong. It was decided the best course of action was to completely restart the paperwork. During this time it was discovered that the vehicle we were purchasing had three open recalls and also a non functioning module. This was a brand new 2026 vehicle. The salesperson knew we were driving from out of state weeks in advance so there is no excuse for having these recalls. The salesman went to talk to the service department who said that they did not have the parts to fix the recalls. We were then told that we would need to contact a local dealer once we returned home to address the recalls. Because of the open recalls we were not able to set up our OnStar account with the car at the dealership. Without functioning OnStar the entire infotainment system was completely unusable. We could not use maps, music, anything. Again, this was a brand new, 2026 vehicle. The solution was to use Bluetooth the directions and music and they sent us on our merry way. After the fact when we voiced our frustrations about the open recalls and safety concerns of them, their response was "well we'd argue the car is still drivable". On top of all that, a few days after we got home they called us back to let us know that once again, the paperwork was wrong and they needed us to resign and send it back. After contacting our home dealership to get the recalls and module fixed, they could not believe Step One sold us a car with open recalls. Saying "they can't do that" with my response being "well they did". I would not purchase a car from Step One unless you first want to get a job there because the only way the paperwork will be correct is if you do it yourself. One star instead of zero because of the price of the car, and because zero stars is not an option, but honestly the price of the car does not make up for all the headaches involved with this dealership.
