They totally ripped us off, brought our MDX in for quote for sensor replacement they call say it will be $200 something so he says let me talk with my wife and call back. SERIOUSLY what a rip off this place has turned into. He tells them we're just picking it up instead of fixing. WELL go to pick up and they charge $200 and didn't fix it OMG SERIOUSLY! Came in to have my car get a software update (which was noted for them when I came in). Was informed that my car would probably need a $600 transmission drainage done at drop off. My car was there all day (dropped the car off at 0800, didn't get a call till 1300). Told them no to $600 because this can be done elsewhere for way cheaper. Confirmed that I still wanted the software update. Was still charged for them to look at the car, plus a random misc. fee that has no description to it.. and they DIDN'T do the software update. The girl tried to tell me the update had to be done with the transmission drainage, and then I said, "so you can't update software without paying $600." She then took back what she had just said. They had my car all day, for pretty much nothing to be done. First and last time I go to them. Very disappointed. Very unprofessional. They just want your money. read more

Without a doubt the nicest car buying experience I have had. Scott and Hamilton went above and beyond what I would expect sales team members to accommodate me, an out of town buyer. This entire process was new to me. I had never bought a car from out of state. I had a million questions and my credit union had numerous requests. Scott and Hamilton were always kind, punctual, and professional. When the time came for me to pick up the car Scott picked me up from the airport and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. When we pulled into the dealership there was my "new" pre-owned car. It was detailed so well it looked brand new. I noticed one small issue with the car and they quickly resolved it. Scott had worked with me the days before to get all the paperwork lined up so I could minimize the time at the dealership and be back on the road to make it home to Texas. I think I was there a total of 90 minutes from when we pulled up to when I drove off. I purchased a 2021 Acura RDX the process was definitely quick and hassle free! HOWEVER, I decided I know longer was interested in the SUV any longer and traded the collateral in. I submitted the proper documentation to cancel gap and extended warranties purchased and been getting the complete run around. Called the warranty department nothing was never canceled I had to cancel everything after being advised that my paper work was submitted. Once they get the sale you are no longer valid! *** Avoid *** I own 3 Honda's none purchased from this dealer thankfully. I moved to area with my cars. I scheduled each car to have recall work performed on each vehicle on different days ...one each day. Now when I make an appointment Indo expect the other party to keep their time available for me....at least within 30 minutes. However, I took my car in for service for 9:30 appointment. No greeting had to step up to counter and wait in line ....not really busy, just everyone getting coffee and donuts and chit chatting. I get my car entered into their system and am told it will likely take 1.5 hours...no problem, I had some work to do on my IPad so off to waiting room. After 30 minutes, I notice my car has not moved .....still in the line to be worked on. I was deep into my work and just took note of the time and situation. 30 more minutes go by and my car is still untouched....so now it's 1030. At this point, I can no longer afford the additional 1.5 hrs to get fixed so I ask for my keys. The service staff made a funny smirk and retrieved my keys and handed them to me....she did point my car out to me as if after the long absence from it I had forgotten.....no apology, no attempt to keep me on site, nothing, just there's your car. Like I said, I currently own 3 Honda's and have owned at least 3 to 4 others so I have been through many dealerships....this one is a no go on so many levels. Service is terrible [ obviously], but pricing and little perks I normally received from other Honda Dealers are absent. They don't even seem to try at this place. One thing I hate is a pushy salesman or dealership...but, to our surprise, Nathan and the group at Tim Smith Acura are anything but! After my wife located the vehicle on Auto Trader and called the dealership. Nathan was nice enough to do an "on the phone walk around the vehicle" letting us know exactly what the vehicle looked like inside and out. He also was gracious enough to answer all of our questions about its current condition without trying to "hard sell" us. We drove over two hours to look at the vehicle. Nathan met us at the dealership and allowed us to test drive the vehicle without any "salesman tactics". We decided to make an offer on the vehicle and the deal was done! We spent less time at the dealership than it took us to drive to Ft. Walton Beach. We can absolutely recommend the crew at Tim Smith Acura! I really should have read the other reviews before dealing with these people. I had a Nissan Armada and it was just too big for my wife. I wanted to trade in for something smaller for her. She found her perfect car at Tim Smith Acura, let the nightmare begin. Walked in and wasnt greeted for at least 5 minutes. I looked past it. When someone finally came out we started the process with Ed. After 45 minutes and 300 new inquiry notifications from credit karma on mine and my wife's credit report, we were presented a "deal". They offered me wayyyy less than blue book for my Armada which was in immaculate condition and a sticker price that was 5k higher than competition that I showed him and he wouldn't budge. Kept going to "talk to his manager" and I could see them laughing and joking and cutting up! We left and won't ever recommend these clowns to anyone else. STAY AWAY!!! read more

Let's get this out of the way: DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH THESE INGRATES. Tim Smith Acura is full of conniving idiots that are either too stupid or too slimy to care upholding their word. I went in to look at a car that had been on their lot for over 4 months that I wrongly assumed they would be eager to sell; afraid not. They threw the usual dealer low-ball at my trade-in and I countered with actual numbers from real websites that normal people have access to. I left assured that I would receive the full payoff for my car as they would still stand to make quite a bit of money off of the deal. I received a call today, not even 24 hours later, after waiting almost 4 hours for an answer on my offer, informing me that the numbers we had discussed previously were null and void because the person that gave them to me was a salesman and not a sales manager. He then proceeded to inform me that the offer was 2,000 less than we agreed upon not even 24 hours prior. The sales manager then proceeded to admit that he was not an expert on the type of vehicle I was trading in, but then tried to tell me exactly what the market was for it. A wee bit of confusion on that one. They seem to be in the business of keeping cars on their lot for as long as possible, and lemme tell us something; BUSINESS IS BOOMING! read more

I purchased a used Acura several years ago and I live in Panama City. It is quite a drive to Ft. Walton Beach, and I received an airbag recall notice. As a disabled person, I could not make the drive. Tim Smith Acura was very accommodating and took care of transporting my vehicle to their service center and back. They also fixed a problem with a relay switch which was causing my car to stall on occasion. They could not have been nicer and the price for the relay repair was very reasonable.
