When I brought my car to Critical Details for auto detailing, I had never cleaned the inside and had tried 3 times (without success) to vacuum out the pug hair. When paying, I was asked to rewrite my check to make it out directly to the owner and not the business itself. I made a light, offhand comment about it being a little unusual, but I was clear that it wasn't a problem--I immediately paid in full and left a generous tip. Later that day, the owner called me and spoke to me in a very aggressive and hostile manner, questioning whether I had an issue with how he runs his business. The tone of the call felt confrontational and unprofessional, and it left me feeling uneasy and very shaken. Regardless of any misunderstanding, I don't believe that kind of reaction toward a customer is appropriate. Because of that interaction, I would not feel comfortable returning.
