She helped tailor several suit jackets arm lengths as well as shorten some dress pants and was able to get everything done in about a week and for a good price. Came here again to shorten some new khakis I got on Black Friday which she did very professionally you wouldn't be even able to tell they were altered. It was my first time getting alterations. I came to alter a bridesmaid dress that was ordered online. It needed to be cinched from the waist, straps needed to be added on and adjusted and the length of dress needed to be shortened a bit. I did get pricked lol but it's okay I survived! Definitely wear the height of shoes you are planning to get the dress length to..if that makes sense. All in all, the service was okay. I was a little intimidated and she pulled the dress on me as if I was wearing a corset...so, I really had to make sure I didn't gain any extra weight!! The alterations were about $63, compared to some of the other bridesmaids that went elsewhere it was definitely a lot cheaper. It took exactly a week for dress to be ready..so plan accordingly. JJ had a really nice jacket that he loved, but it ripped... this was the first item that we took to Pings to have repaired, I had a pair of favorite jeans that split in the back, which I took to Pings also. Then JJ took 3 pair of pants to be hemmed. Ping was very friendly and personable. We took our clothes in to her shop and showed her what we wanted altered. I showed her my jeans and asked if it might be possible to patch where it had ripped, and she said yes. She told us the total cost for 5 items, and we paid her cash up front. About a week later, we went to pick everything up. Ping did a fantastic job! We were especially pleased with the alterations. Boss lady was friendly, direct and straight up told me to return my jumpsuit cuz it looked bad on me lol!!! gotta love the brutal honesty. Came in for the first time to get a pair of jeans hemmed. I had no idea how much length to take off but Ping insisted that I try it on in the changing room first. She then helped me pin it perfectly and made sure the jeans sat exactly where I wanted it to. I was in and out in 5 minutes and she told me to come back in a week to pick up my jeans. The jeans were hemmed perfectly with the original hem intact. If you own an expensive pair of jeans and are hesitant on where to get it altered, you can definitely trust Ping to hem it perfectly to your liking with no issues. I also wanted to add some extra cloth on the mesh part of the dress and she helped me figure out a way to do that (only charged me $3 for it). Ping has always done amazing work for me, as someone who exists between sizes and inseams, and will forever suffer from waistband gap. Jeans hemming runs $10 each, with a one week turnaround. The attention to detail is so appreciated, and always asks to make sure if you're wearing the shoes you plan to wear with your pants to make sure she hems them to the correct length.
