Got a pair of pants hemmed within 3-4 days turn around time for $10. I can't complain because that's pretty quick. The stitching matched the cloth well. It is cash only. Only thing is the plaza can be a hit or miss with parking sometimes so keep that in mind. You might have to circle around or park in the garage and walk quite a distance. I try to find local alteration spots that aren't too crazy on price. This one is a keeper! read more

Called ahead and they confirmed/told me to arrive at a certain time today to drop off clothes to pick up before tomorrow evening. At arrival employee told me they didn't say that time and were actively lying to me. So I'm going to start by saying DO NOT bring items here unless you want them to shrink it without your consent, and definitely don't bring your comforter unless you want a massive hole in it. Our brand new never used comforter has a big hole after we picked it up. My bf did go back in person to tell him that they put a hole in our comforter and showed these exact photos. His response was bring it back and I'll sew it back for you. Ummmm no ty, you can just be careful with other peoples items and you just lost a customer. As for clothing, my bf's designer hoodies shrank so much that when he wears pants, you can see his boxers as he walks LOL... so painful. read more

I went in to get two brand new work jackets dry cleaned to get rid of any chemical smells left from the manufacture and also have a zipper replaced on a old Nike jacket. I had both jackets dry cleaned for $25 and I wasn't happy with the price he gave me for the zipper, $35. I honestly felt I could add one myself for way less but I understand it maybe something wrong with the jacket completely that I may not understand. read more

This place was the second store from the Atlantic side, close to the side street. I went all the way around the complex the first time, as there were multiple entrances to get in. I recently moved to East LA and Liberty dry cleaners is very close to me so I have been using their services every month or so. Their prices are reasonable and they always have my clothing ready on the day they say it's ready. Well this time I dropped off several items as usual, including a pair of pants. When I came to pick them up, the nice woman was there with the gentleman that usually works there. She gave me the receipt. Attached to the receipt was a plastic baggie with a $20 bill inside! She said it was found in my pants' pocket!! Now that's honestly!! I'm so happy to see there are real honest people out there. I think that's rare to find these days. I drop off my stuff here every time I come by Monterey Park to visit my folks. New mom n pop owners are really friendly and they give you a good deal. They do a good job and are timely. The lady does really good alterations. She totally saved a dress I was planning on wearing to a wedding but my ever expanding belly keeps growing. Oh my God! They got the wine off my yellow chiffon gown that I haven't touched in 3.5 years!!! I pulled my dress out for the first time in a while, not realizing it had wine and dirt all (clearly I had a little too much fun that night). Needless to say, I was kind of skeptical. Really good laundry service (not to be confused with dry clean service) but at $18.75 for 5 shirts, it's pricey. They would not provide a discount if I brought in more shirts (I wear dress shirts daily) which is unfortunate since they are the closest dry cleaners to my house. Ended up going to Asahi Cleaners who are just as good and 20% less expensive. Parking can be a problem if don't get a spot up front - you'll have to settle for a spot in the parking structure which is a long walk to make with a pile of clothes. read more

I specifically asked whether they would be able clean fur, and the owner happy answered yes--he even quoted me a VERY fair price, thinking it would be safe in the hands of this business owner I came back a few days later not inspecting the comforter. Once I got home...I saw the fur was matted and no longer soft...it was accompanied by this acrid smell of chemical product as well. I left $1,000 Cartier cuff links on a shirt that I dropped off, I thought they were gone for sure (they had the Cartier logo on the top and has Cartier written on the bottoms). It was over the weekend and they're closed on Sunday. When I picked up my shirts, he had the cuff links attached to the shirt hanger inside a small bag, this says a lot about this great place. I tried the cleaners across the street and they were ridiculously expensive so my search continued. After getting a manicure nearby I noticed this cleaners, walked in to inquire about the pricing and it seemed reasonable so I dropped off my laundry. The owner was super nice and kind.
