I just moved to Williamsburg and I have to say this place is seriously one of my favorite things about the neighborhood. I'm a frequent online shopper. I buy and return constantly. On my day's off I would spend hours going to post offices and other drop off locations and waiting on line to send packages. This place takes them ALL, fedex, ups, usps etc.!!!! I literally walk in and drop off my packages. I have never had one issue!! The staff is soooo friendly and helpful! I really can't say enough about this place. The owner exactly know what he is doing and giving individual attention to help each process of each project. Lost my UPS package. I had ups deliver to this location which is a registered ups access point. It arrived on a weds, marked delivered by ups, signed for by their employee, etc. by Thursday they somehow lost the package and demanded it was UPS's fault despite me looking at the signature of their employee who received it signing their name @Flash Blue.... Their only answer to where it was, was to call ups bc they didn't have it and say that UPS loses things all the time, how they would stop working with them. Not helpful. I just wanted my package cared for and they lost it within 16 hours. read more

This place is awesome! I emailed what I needed printed and it was ready to go right when I arrived ten minutes later. Very affordable. I walked in to Flash Blue Printing after my printer broke last minute before a lesson (I'm a teacher). I was able to print everything I needed within minutes, saving me a panic attack. As luck would have it, I couldn't find my flash drive, but the gentleman that helped me kindly told me I could simply email him my file, and he would print it for me. He even offered to reprint the file because some images got cut off due to my own poor efforts in document formatting. Hands down, the best customer service I've gotten in the city so far! Ray was amazing! Professional & competent. I had a last minute presentation for a client. I walked in with only an hour to put together a printed & spiral bound presentation book with photo images and graphics. I had my work on a thumb drive. I chose some heavy white card stock. The book came out gorgeous. Ray did everything while I waited, which was about 30-mins. While I was there, he handled every customer with respect, including me. DO NOT go to staples come see Ray at Flash. I had to print up over around 2000 fliers on nice paper for work, and not only did they turn it around that afternoon... they CRUSHED it on the price. My boss was really impressed with my resourcefulness, since I paid so much less than the other people she's asked to get fliers. All I told her was "I know a guy." I came in to print a few pages, was going to go to the ATM because I didn't have any cash on me and it was under the credit card minimum. The owner was working and said I could just pay him back later, and when I said I didn't live in the area he just gave me the copies for free-- not to mention was so nice to all the customers the entire time I was there. read more

Ray and Milton (owner of both locations and employee at Metropolitan Ave), what can I say? They are the best. Caring, professional and deliver excellent results. I needed a portfolio printed by them onto gator board. They were recommended to me by another printer. Truth is, a lot of the printers out there don't actually do their own work but are merely brokers, charging a premium to get guys like Ray and Milton to do the work. When you are having something like a portfolio printed you are already under a great deal of stress from actually getting the project done right? The last thing you need is for some apathetic clerk at staples or where ever looking at you like, why are you so special? and dumping your project on the heap of outgoing jobs. And then you get it back and the paper is wrong, or the color is wrong etc. And you're spending money that you don't yet have, because you don't yet have the job! It can be infuriating. Well Ray and Milton and Fred (at the Gowanus location) - what a difference. They act like your job is the only job they have at the moment. They give you the cost upfront. They talk to you about paper and color and what you need. And then they do it and wrap it and let you know when it's ready. All the basics and then some. They seem to genuinely care about the outcome and that you are happy. It was truly the best experience I've had ever. Highly, highly recommend. Most importantly, I honestly think the quality of the job was what gave me the best possible shot and a jolt of confidence on interview day. Thanks guys! read more
