The staff were friendly and professional. I believe the doctor was accurate with his diagnosis and prescribed treatment. I do not yet know what I will be charged so cannot comment on that. However, I am giving this clinic only one star because I made an 11 a.m. appointment and arrived on time but realized everyone who had walked in without an appointment before I arrived was being seen ahead of me despite the fact that my appointment time had passed. Finally, 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I asked the receptionist about this and she confirmed this was their policy. I told her that meant there was no such thing as an appointment since patients were seen based exclusively on their arrival times. She said she would talk to the doctor, and I was, then, the next patient called. TLDR: Fine for walk ins, but they don't honor appointments. read more

Summary of my experience: * Lack of professionalism, patience and respect. * Disrespectful and argumentative staff. * Dismissive & impatient doctor (Dr. Ndubuisi Achufusi). * No compassion or understanding I scheduled a telehealth appointment for my 19 yr old son through the Solv app. The app allowed me, as his mother, to create his profile and schedule the visit under my account. There was no message or restriction saying that he needed to have his own account. When no one showed up for the scheduled appointment, my son told me, so I called the office. The receptionist explained that they called an old number listed on my Solv account. I confirmed my current number and she transferred the call. The next woman who answered completely changed the energy of the call. From the moment she spoke, her tone was loud, impatient, and confrontational. She never greeted me or tried to understand what was going on. She immediately started talking over me, cutting me off, and giving orders. I will never forget her exact words. She said, "Put him on the phone now if you want him to be seen," and, "He is nineteen, he needs to handle this himself." Her tone was so sharp it stopped me mid-sentence. Not because she was right, but because I could not believe someone working in healthcare would speak to a parent that way. I explained that I was only calling to check on the appointment and update the contact number. My son was sitting right beside me, ready to speak if needed, but she kept interrupting and refusing to listen. It felt like she wanted to argue instead of help. I finally asked for a supervisor because I refused to be talked to like that. As a mother who manages her household and her children's care, I expect basic respect when I call a medical office. The supervisor, or possibly a senior staff member, was polite and understanding. She explained that the woman I spoke with was new and still in training. But the damage was already done. That first exchange left a lasting impression of rude treatment that no amount of training can excuse. Soon, I was finally on the phone with Dr. Ndubuisi Achufusi while my son was having trouble connecting the video for the telehealth visit. The doctor asked me directly about what my son was experiencing. I explained the situation with my son irritated eye, and he asked me to email photos. I agreed and said that was fine. I heard a woman in the background ask, "Do you have our email address?" I told her no, but that I could take it down, and I got ready to write it. Then, without warning, the doctor changed his mind. He suddenly said, "It's best that he just come in. How far do you live?" I told him the distance and explained that my son does not drive. He replied, "Well, he can take an Uber." I turned to my son and said, "Check again to see if the video call is working." Before my son could even try, I heard the sound of the phone being slammed down. The doctor had hung up on us. There was no goodbye, no effort to reconnect, no professionalism at all. For a moment, I just sat there in disbelief. After spending time trying to fix the mistakes that happened on their end, to be hung up on like that felt cruel and careless. It was not just poor service, it was a complete lack of human decency. That moment showed me exactly how little care or patience this practice has for families. As a mother of child who have disabilities and will require lifelong care, this experience made me lose all trust in this facility. If this is how they treat a parent calmly trying to assist during a visit, I can only imagine how dismissive they might be toward someone who truly depends on a caretaker to speak for them. Families deserve compassion, not hostility. Parents and caretakers deserve to be treated with respect, patience, and understanding. I will never return to this office, and I hope they take this as a chance to reflect on how they treat the people who depend on their care. read more

I have been here in the past.  I like them because the office is super clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the medical care is professional.  However, their name is a misnomer.  They are anything but fast. I feel the wait is longer than necessary. On this occasion, I scheduled ahead arrived eight minutes early, checked in, completed all my paperwork and paid my co-pay for my scheduled time.  They provide a waitlist view so I could see there was only one other patient in the office at the time. We saw the patient leave and waited another 20 minutes before I was called back.  On the way to the patient room.  Then I waited another 25-30 minutes before the doctor arrived.  He spent less than 10 minutes with me and told me exactly what I expected and provided a prescription. It just seems an hour is an unexpected amount of time to spend to see a healthcare professional when there are no other patients waiting to be seen.. Last time I visited, I thought it was having a heart attack, and I was still forced to wait over 40 minutes before seeing a doctor.  It seems they may need more staff or improved systems to help expedite the patient follow up documentation. I based this on the fact I passed the fellow who would eventually be my doctor sitting at a desk working on notes I presume, as I was taken back to the patient room to wait. Other than that, though, I do like this practice and will return in the future if necessary. read more

I came in to have my hand stitched after a fall and had 12 stitches sewed in my hand between my thumb and index finger by a wonderful doctor. I returned to have the sutures removed the following week as instructed. The attendant removed 10 of the 12 sutures and quit because she was having difficulty. She instructed me to go somewhere else to have the last 2 removed. I suggested we soak it to soften the dry blood to make it easier. Once again I was told to go somewhere else to have the sutures removed. I went home and soaked my hand in warm water for ten minutes and the hardened blood as well as the sutures washed off with no effort. My hand has healed well thanks to the initial doctor's fine work. The initial visit as well as previous experiences have all been great. This experience was quite disappointing. read more

Unless you have a hidden desire to read all of last year issues of people's magazine don't come close to this place. Extremely unprofessional staff. I came in a while back and gave them all the necessary information that they needed to get a hold of me and all my insurance information. Months later I got my only derogatory mark I have ever had on my credit score because they failed to attempt to get a hold of me. No calls, no emails, no billed mail. Nothing. I came in for a standard check up and when I called collections the bill was $250. I have good insurance so this tells me that they did not even attempt adding any of my insurance information in, but I needed to get that mark off my record, so I did not have time to discuss this. Do not come here unless you want to do all the administrative work for them. Never have I experienced something like this. read more

Overall poor. I made a last minute appointment at the Kensington Location but got there to be told that there was over an hour wait and they suggest i go to the Wheaton/Silver Spring location. Both locations were dingy, poorly lite and seemed disorganzied. When i finally saw a nurse practioner she said there was nothing she could do for my stomach pain despite the fact that it was one of the items listed as options when making the appointment. It's now Monday and I'm feeling even worse. Meaning I have to pay another $150 to be seen again because of the incompetency of this facility. I went today, my visit was relatively quick & efficient. The nurse who did my intake was friendly & the doctor seemed to remember me from a previous visit. I walked out thinking all was well & after I finished work, I went to pick up the prescription I was prescribed only to find it hadn't been called in - I normally use another pharmacy but the doctor recommended a closer 24 hr pharmacy up the street so I said yes to her recommendation & now tomorrow I will have to call them & then drive to pick up my prescription. $35 for a bandaid & a non-existent prescription is unacceptable!!!! read more

Best experience I've had with an Urgent Care facility. I made an appointment online, but saw people walking in as well. I went at a slow time (late morning), and was seen as soon as my paperwork was filled out. Receptionist was aloof, but the medical assistant and the doctor were very nice. The doctor (Dr. Polahar) seemed knowledgeable and listened to me. I guess the only negative was the people coming in with "fever and chills--I think I have the flu". Why? As far as urgent care facilities go, this office is a gem. It is clean, well organized, and I've always had a positive experience with all of the staff, including the Russian doctor. For those who do not have a primary care physician nearby or just want to quickly check on something health related, this is a fantastic option. If you can, I'd recommend making an appointment online as this makes the wait time and initial paperwork a breeze. Also, having simple info like your preferred pharmacy or any medications will also move the process along. My husband and I have both visited a few times - most recently, I was in this afternoon for a persistent cough that has not improved - and both the nurse and doctor were concerned, offering tips, a prescription, and an action plan to get better! Hopefully I won't need to, but look forward to going back soon! read more

The owner, Mohammed, was very rude to me on the phone. I called because I was worried I had been misdiagnosed by the doctor. Instead of listening to my concern, he called me a liar and hung up. Very confrontational and unprofessional. Although the staff addressed the purpose of my visit, I am still concerned about being misdiagnosed. Terrible place. I made an appointment for an X-ray because I thought I had cracked a rib but the doctor said that they don't take x-rays In that office. I've gotten several x-rays there before and the machine was still there as well. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE FOR AN X-ray. They say they do them on their website but they would not take an x-ray of my ribs As they said no one knew how to use it. Come on now! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Truly the worst medical experience of my life. I was treated in an extremely demeaning manner for showing up with a sore throat. Apparently that's not allowed AT AN URGENT CARE. I had taken a covid test before I went, which was negative, and have had two vaccines and two boosters. They wouldn't let me in the building and made me wait in my for about 45 minutes to be told to keep waiting in my car. The so-called provider couldn't manage to work the video on his video call and then hung up on me. SHAME. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. I literally cannot stress this enough, do not even bother trying this place. Whether you make an appointment, call ahead, or walk-in, they will have AT LEAST a 2hr wait (even when the waiting room is empty.) They also charge more than your insurances rate (found on back of card) and they can never explain why. Put my name down and asked them to call me when I could come in to see a doctor, in the time before they called me I was able to: go to dunkin' donuts, drive to the Access Now Urgent Care in wheaton (which I absolutely recommend), see a doctor and get a prescription, pick up said prescription from CVS, and get home. Do not waste your time here, go to any other urgent care but I really recommend the Access Now one in Wheaton. read more

Terrible patient experience. They ask you to meet them outside a side door in the parking lot to get seen. If you don't want patients to come in, I assume for Covid risk, then create a space that is safe and comfortable outside. Wait times were also excessive, 30 min waiting in my car after my "appointment time" to get summoned to back door like a bad drug deal just to get a simple test, and another hour to get the "rapid" results. Friendly staff but they need to clearly communicate their policies to staff. My recent experience was frustrating, to say the very least and that could have been avoided if the staff was on the same page. I hope they do a better job at managing this place going forward. Scheduled appointment for my husband for dizziness, headaches and blurred vision. Husband showed up and the receptionist told him that at his age, all his symptoms point to omicron and he needs to go to ER. He called me so I called the office to confirm and explain his symptoms better. Receptionist then said she had no clue where he got that from that she never said that and that the doctor wouldn't be able to see him that he needed to go to ER for a full check up. These are intermittent symptoms that are not a sudden onset so he was looking for BP check and labs to at least see if things are stable but these symptoms are not ER worthy. Disappointed that we wasted time making this appointment rather than finding a place that wants to see patients. Probably felt they wouldn't be able to price gouge since we were going to do self pay. read more

I'm sitting in the waiting room with a 2 year old who sliced his finger. They refused to see us because I forgot the insurance card and had to run home and get it while my husband stayed with our son. Then I had to fill out the paperwork, all before we would be seen. It's been 20-25 minutes since we first walked in the door. I've worked urgent care and in an ER. This is not how you treat patients. This is extremely unprofessional and I don't recommended coming here. read more

Unfortunately they gave him another person's prescription so he could not fill it. Had I realized I would be charged $335 for a 10 minute appointment to get antibiotics for a UTI, I would have not come at all! You can get an appointment at CVS for a UTI for under $100. I called prior to the appointment to determine whether they took my health insurance. I was informed they did take my health insurance. Upon arriving for the appointment, they took my insurance card and when I left the appointment, I was told I was all set. This led me to believe my insurance covered the cost of the appointment. NOPE. I received the $335 bill in the mail. Awful. Apparently, $235 was charged because I was a new patient. AKA, I filled out a bunch of paperwork that was reviewed by no one. Indeed, I only met with a physician's assitant for the appointment, so didn't even see a real doctor. I'm super-annoyed because I seriously don't have the money just lying around to pay for something I thought was free! read more

Facilities were good. Front desk staff was nice. Glad I was able go there on a Saturday afternoon. I didn't have to wait too long either. The bedside manner could be improved. Spent 5 mins with the Dr. She seemed unconcerned/ disinterested during our chat (probably because I interrupted her from watching whatever tv show I saw her watching). She told me my test results would be available in 3 days. 5 days later, still no call. Ended up calling them to find out. read more

I've been in to Fast Track twice now, due to a severe and persistent asthma cough. I've been extremely pleased, both times. I've arrived there both times with no appointment but in considerable distress; with a terrible debilitating cough. They've gotten me out of the lobby and into a room in just a few minutes, and the doctor looked at me immediately and got me on a nebulizer in less than 10 minutes from when I walked through the front door. Everyone there has been very attentive, kind and concerned. When the nurse learned that I didn't have a home nebulizer, she got me one right away, for me to take home when I left. The doctor asked the pharmacy to rush my prescriptions, and I was home and medicated in less than an hour! I really could not have asked for better support. Urgent care clinics can certainly be unpredictable, and I'm sure wait times and such vary wildly here, as elsewhere -- I've undoubtedly been lucky with my first two visits. But I've been quite impressed with the service, and kindness, at Fast Track, and I like knowing that I have a clinic this helpful close by. read more

I decided to come here on suspicion of a sprained foot. Walk-ins are welcome. After filling out the paperwork, I waited no more than 15 minutes before being called back to take vitals and was shown to a waiting room. I waited another 15-20 minutes to actually see the doctor. Dr. Ransom was very nice, listened to my complaints, and asked many questions. Once she was in the room, the process of being examined, taking x-rays, and being diagnosed was fast and efficient (turns out my foot is fractured in 2 places)! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it won't cost too much but I was very happy with the experience. Everyone on staff was friendly and polite and the front desk was kind enough to call a taxi for me. The facility is clean and neat and the waiting room is well-stocked with everything from Vogue to The Economist. Plus if you're well enough to eat, an amazing steak and cheese place is right next door! read more

While I understand the limitations of an urgent care, even one labeled "Fast Track" - we were a little disturbed by the attitude and actions of the doctor on duty during our visit. My husband had cut his hand the night before and had bandaged it using cotton balls (gee...we learned a lesson there!) He was in a lot of pain while they tried to extract the cotton from the wound. The doctor gave us the option to go home and soak the hand and remove the cotton ourselves, because she didn't think the cut was too serious, or she could numb the area with a needle (also a painful process) and get it out herself. She told him that his reaction to pain was not like other peoples (inappropriate) and that a doctor's first rule is to do no harm (obvious.) We chose the numbing and after extracting the cotton, it turned out that the cut did need stitches and a thorough flushing of the area to clean it beforehand. (How would we have known this if we'd been sent home to deal with it ourselves? Isn't this why we came to a clinic, to take care of it properly?) After the stitching, she gave us a couple of prescriptions (Vicodin! overkill?) and an antibiotic, and said it was up to him whether or not to take any of the pills. We felt that too much was left up to us and she needed to take some control and offer guidance...she's the doctor! Overall she seemed inexperienced and nervous and like she just didn't want to deal with it...not very comforting at all. One bright spot: the nurse was great! read more

I must tell you that this is the WORST place for "urgent care". I visited this clinic which claims to reputable while I was very sick with strep throat. The nurse took a test for strep and I was told that it was negative and I was fine and just needed some rest. After not feeling well for 3 additional days I went to my regular doctor who listened to my lungs (this is not something the urgent care clinic did) and said I was sick and prescribed an antibotic. Then, six days later I received a call from a the urgent care clinic who said that I tested positive for strep throat. After this experience I find complete irony in the name "fast track urgent care" and urge you all to beware of what you hear from them. read more

Dr. Irfana Ali is so caring you'd think she was a concierge doctor, not an urgent care doctor. She asks good questions and even followed up with me twice after I saw her for severe back pain. No complaints about the other docs, and I've been there a handful of times in the past 10 years for various illnesses and injuries . Dr Ali is who I saw most recently though. The clinic is clean, and quiet, and organized. I was also very impressed with the way the receptionist handled a very sticky situation regarding a seemingly intoxicated, agitated man who kept arguing with her. It was a tough spot for her to be in, but she handled it calmly and professionally. read more

We have used this place for the past several years. the staff is very helpful and we have received good medical advice. The office is clean. Parking can be hard to find because of the commercial traffic. We have also had problems with the billing department providing us with bills a couple of years after our visit. I came to the clinic because of extreme pain in my right foot that started at 4 am while I was asleep. It was misdiagnosed as a foot sprain although there was no trauma in the days before the pain started. I was given a boot for my foot but nothing for the pain. Two days later I went to a hospital emergency room where I was diagnosed with an infection in my foot and admitted for 24 hours to get antibiotics. I was on crutches for five days and am continuing a two week treatment with antibiotics. An email to the clinic about the misdiagnose was ignored. When I followed my email to the clinic with a request to speak to the manager about the mis-diagnosis there was no interest in getting information from me. I was told the manager was not in and to try again the next day. read more
