Soooo good! It's a small place with a dining area and a separate bar area, and I've heard it's VERY busy during WVU games. The service was outstanding!The bartender/waitress was exceptionally friendly. She recommended her favorites so that's what I ordered! The value was great - you won't leave hungry. We ordered an appetizer (bacon jalapeño cheddar rolls) and barely ate any of it because it was HUGE - but the leftovers were exceptional. We split a salad (it was MORE than enough for 2) and split a medium Mountaineer pizza. There was so much food to bring home - enough for 2 more meals. I had to go back to Morgantown WV for additional medical assistance, so I stopped for dinner at Fat Angelo's Pizzeria in the Westover area. I actually called in my order so I could go back to my hotel room. I ordered the 8" Dawg Grinder that was full of Italian Meats, Provolone Cheese, with Green Peppers, Onions, Lettuce & Tomatoes that was toasted with Mayo and they put the vinegar and oil on the side. It was really good but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had eaten it there while hot with some plain ruffle style chips...love ruffles!! Definitely will eat there again but next time dine in. read more

Pizza is decent, but this operation is ameteur hour to put it nice. Once was told an hour for our pizza, drove over there an hour and fifteen later and was told to wait another hour. This time, as of writing on this, I've been on hold for 20 minutes...after giving up on a 15 minute hold and hanging up because I figured they forgot about me. Plenty of great, frankly better than this, pizza in town...i will not be dealing with this nonsense again. read more

Since new management took over, we have been highly disappointed. Several times our pizza was so thin it cracked on the bottom. The flavor is off in several of their specialty pizzas. The all around service is poor. But the most disappointing of them all is the crust. Today was the last straw. We have deleted the app and won't order again and will cease from recommending this place. read more

Food was good. The staff was friendly. They gave us a wait time on the food but got it ready quick for pick up ( which was nice). The pizza has a sweet sauce and a thin crust. Only down side is that it was super greasy. Some people like it that way. It was a good find. The caesar salad was pretty good. There was a lot of mozzarella cheese on it. Which i wasn't expecting. I eat at Fat Angelo's a lot! I absolutely love their food. I'm a very picky eater and normally don't try new things, but I've tried several different items on the menu and it's all been fantastic! Now, I went there last night 12/13/2024 I ordered the spaghetti with extra meatballs (I didn't get not 1 meatball), my side salad had everything I asked NOT to be in it, It had beets, Green Peppers, and Tomatoes when I specifically asked for them not to be in my salad. Then my husband's hot honey canzone, I said "Very Few Jalapeños". I counted 6 to 7 Jalapeños on each slice. Then... My son got a half a pound of boneless wings with mild sauce. We were not given mild, we were given a different type of sauce, that was so spicy my son couldn't even eat them! I ended up throwing them in the garbage. I typically never complain when it comes to restaurants, I understand they get so busy and mistakes happen. But when mistakes are made on every item we ordered its a problem. When I first got there to pick up my food, I asked the girl if I could add an extra ranch to my order (before I paid so it could be added and I could pay for the extra ranch) well she added it to my order then started talking to another employee. A man (very nice and polite) brought me out my food, and I asked the girl if she got my extra ranch before I walked out. She didn't say anything to me just got into the cooler behind the counter grabbed a ranch and handed it to me. If I would've just assumed that my extra ranch was in there, I wouldve been suprised when I got home. I have never had an issue like this before when it comes to this location. Made a delivery order and was told 45 minutes. Great. 1 hour later no pizza, so I call and am told it has been out for awhile and if it doesn't arrive in the next ten minutes to call back and they will make it again. The pizza finally arrived 1:25 minutes after placing the order. Guess what??? It was ice cold, like day old pizza sitting out overnight. The hoagie was nasty and the chef salad was wilted and couldn't be eaten. Total waste of $51. If you need or want pizza in Morgantown choose somewhere other than Fat Angelo's. My hotel front desk recommended Fat Angelos to me. I ordered a medium with 4 toppings and a can of soda which came to $20. I thought that was a little steep but maybe not for Morgantown. The food is great but the service is TERRIBLE....I order food at noon and didn't get it till 3:10 and it's time for me to go home...the first excuse I got was they have a glitch in the system when u order online it it was a delay in getting our order...ok i said let's give them the benefit of doubt maybe they are telling the truth but the second time I don't want to hear it and when I called to talk to a manager he acted like ok why are u calling me I don't have time....they lie when u call to check on the order saying we don't have the correct address or they just left...so which one is it cause when I called back he said he hasn't left yet and there was a mixup on address...don't know how that could be because they called to verify address...just so unacceptable...I will not be ordering from them again read more
