Our waiter, a young tall guy whose name I forget was great! He came across as being very nonchalant but the entire time we were there we never saw the man stop moving. I was very impressed. The food was fine. It was ably cooked. We both did enjoy our meals. The open kitchen is a cool concept, but when you're 30 feet away from it some cache' is lost. Everything was clean. There weren't many people. I feel that many don't know about this place yet. Lots of light bites to choose from, such as pretzels and beer cheese, scones, soups, grilled pimento cheese. Everything was tasty and priced well. The atmosphere is charming and the owners are very friendly. I felt like I was sitting by a fire in a real Irish pub. Park your car and walk along this charming area of Frankfort and pop into Mortimer Bibb's for some drinks and friendly conversation. The beers are all pretty reasonably priced and the self-tap system works really well. I tried a bunch of different beers for under $5. If I'm in the Frankfort area again in the future, I am definitely going to stop in.
