Discreet bakery on an end of a small business mall with minimal seating inside and out. Went late on a Monday, so I knew there was a chance they wouldn't have much. But I still came away with a haul of yummy treats. Cookies were soft and a bit sweeter than I'd like, but still great, best was the pb one. Bear claw and muffins were delightful. The complimentary croissants an unexpected bonus of flaky goodness and made an egg-cellent sandwich later that week. The empanada I wish was actual flaky pastry vs more like a shortbread cookie that was filled. The coconut macaroon that had nuts cranberries and white chocolate chips was something I could eat every day. I had a Reuben in addition, but that is the one thing I'd say Skip. The bread and meat were fine, meat was a bit fatty but the major flaw was the sauerkraut was cold and flavorless and very wet, so it watered down the dressing and made the sandwich soggy in moments. What an awful experience to eat a soggy sandwich. I did my best to eat whatever meat/bread I could but most of it landed in the trash. It wasn't a cheap sandwich either. Guy at the counter was friendly and even suggested I come back the next morning for a fuller selection but I told him I already had more than enough and I was buying for two as it is. Will definitely return in the earlier hours anytime I'm near Mesquite. Only closed on Sundays.

Great place to stop for breakfast. I got the Fat Boy on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was a great choice. Customer service is on point, very nice folks working!!

Do Not Pass Through Mesquite w/o STOPPING @ FAT DOUGH BAKERY! In an almost secret location with just the "bakery" half of their sign hanging over their corner shop, this place is a DIAMOND! "Best Bear Claw of my life!" my wife declared! The real jackpot of Mesquite! Jalapeño cheese bagels from Mana! Go there! I got the shirt I loved it so much!

Danishes are so flaky and soft

Best bakery in souther Nevada hands down. Service is top notch they go above and beyond, they offer a verity of samples. The place is welcoming, cool art sprayed on the walls, little small for large groups but it's got a few tables. parking lot is at times difficult but not their fault.

We were the first order of the day so I went and asked if we could get the rest and she refused saying "we did save you some" I said "it's probably one sandwich worth and we ordered 3 giants and 3 regular subs" she very rudely said "again, we saved you some, we can't not just save everything." Uhhhh why not? We bought the subs and she was just too lazy to put them aside? I said it was ok with me if she took them out of the bin since it was for our dog (we were the first customers of the day so there was nothing else in there) and she refused. She was just unnecessarily rude and unpleasant. The sandwiches themselves were fine, but I will not return to this location.

They replaced the meal, but that should never have made it out of the kitchen. On my most recent visit, I ordered a roast beef sandwich. The meat had a strange sticky texture, that I later noticed after 55% completed and later that day I developed severe stomach pain and digestive issues. I hadn't eaten anything else that day, so I was very concerned. To make matters worse, communication with several staff members was difficult because of the language barrier. I had trouble explaining my order and asking questions, which only added to the frustration. A restaurant that's built around the image of a classic American 1950s diner should deliver good food, good service, and clear communication with its customers. Unfortunately, my experiences have fallen well short of that. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

Is it just our working staff that takes these jobs, or is it the owners of these establishments that don't train people write, or even care to police their work ethics, after they hire them for the jobs??? Went to this subway, ordered what we always do, the Italian BMT, Footlongs. 3 guys working behind the counter, I'd say age 23, or so. Looked like they hadn't showered in days, and the one helping us looked like he just came from a week binger or on drugs. This guy wasn't even making eye contact with us, when he started to make the sandwiches, he just had his head turned, talking to one of the other guys. Well, as he started to pick up the meats first, to place on the sub, he just picked up the salami, then pepperoni, and threw it in two clumps, on the bread. We waited for him to spread it out, and when he moved onto the cheese request, we asked him if he was going to spread the meats out over the bread, and he just looked at us and stared, as if we asked him to do something that was illegal........... Well, you can imagine how the whole rest of it was with him, building our sandwiches. I felt like we had to watch, so he wouldn't spit on them or something. Then everything else we asked for like cookies and drinks was a inconvenience for him. This guy, and basically the whole staff there that day, shouldn't be working for anyone. Where are the cameras so that owners can see whats going on. I'd be watching my backside in the parking lot from this guy. This guy needs to go back to "Subway Sandwich School" put in first row, with a Dunce Cap on his head. Believe me, this job is as far as this guy will go in life. Such a shame.
