READ STEVE W.'S REVIEW, AFTER THIS! What is happening with customer service these days, in the fast food restaurant business? Is it just our working staff that takes these jobs, or is it the owners of these establishments that don't train people write, or even care to police their work ethics, after they hire them for the jobs??? Went to this subway, ordered what we always do, the Italian BMT, Footlongs. 3 guys working behind the counter, I'd say age 23, or so. Looked like they hadn't showered in days, and the one helping us looked like he just came from a week binger or on drugs. This guy wasn't even making eye contact with us, when he started to make the sandwiches, he just had his head turned, talking to one of the other guys. Well, as he started to pick up the meats first, to place on the sub, he just picked up the salami, then pepperoni, and threw it in two clumps, on the bread. We waited for him to spread it out, and when he moved onto the cheese request, we asked him if he was going to spread the meats out over the bread, and he just looked at us and stared, as if we asked him to do something that was illegal........... Well, you can imagine how the whole rest of it was with him, building our sandwiches. I felt like we had to watch, so he wouldn't spit on them or something. Then everything else we asked for like cookies and drinks was a inconvenience for him. This guy, and basically the whole staff there that day, shouldn't be working for anyone. Where are the cameras so that owners can see whats going on. I'd be watching my backside in the parking lot from this guy. This guy needs to go back to "Subway Sandwich School" put in first row, with a Dunce Cap on his head. Believe me, this job is as far as this guy will go in life. Such a shame. read more

The food was excellent, as was the ordering process. However, an argument broke out between the staff and 4 letter cuss words were exchanged in the prep room next to the order counter. Extremely unprofessional and rude conduct by the employees. (I tried to contact Subway directly, but their website would not allow me to submit my comments.) read more

Old spoiled soggy tomatoes, I asked for fresh and was refused. Workers were somewhat polite, but being kids it was obvious they could careless, must be a zero waist policy from upper management. This shouldn't be allowed. Fresh my rear end! read more

I was at this location on 4/4/2022 and watched the employee refuse to serve a customer because they were not going to leave a tip for the sub sandwich. He was extremely rude and he actually threw the sandwich away rather than let her buy it without a tip. First issue there is no rules that say you just tip for purchasing a sub. No other fast food chain requires a tip in order to purchase their food. Secondly the employee then told the that customer to never come back. If the employees are requiring tips to an already overpriced sub I will gladly take my business elsewhere. I watched several customers walk away after this tirade as well. As a business owner this would never be tolerated by any of my employees to treat a paying customer as they did. read more

Stood in line waiting while the two employees made subs for those in front of me. The gentleman operating the cash register took cash from the drive thru window, walked it over to the cash register and rang it up, got the customers change and took it back to the drive thru window. Then he proceeds to not wash his hands and grab gloves asking me what I want. I had to turn and leave. Customers shouldn't have to remind or ask for a food preparer to wash their hands prior to putting the gloves on and making food. Even prior to COVID employees should be washing their hands after touching common areas and handling money/cards. It is just common sense that one should realize their hands are now dirty and possibly full of germs, especially this far into an epidemic where they require you to wear a mask to even come into the store. read more

Maybe it's just the location, but on our way to Bryce National Park, we took a pitstop here for lunch. I wanted to order their April $5 lunch special, it was a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast footlong, but they had no bacon!! Which means I also couldn't get a BLT. They also didn't have swiss cheese. Nor did they have any honey oat bread. The staff didn't seem very apologetic or friendly. Probably just too small a town to be very accommodating with their ingredients. read more

Great food & servers BUT A DICK ASS "OWNER" , yelling at my kids because one of them got an yet unpaid soda refilled , and even after i over paid everthing still keeps following me to my table yelling about how im stealing when im still sittting at that fast food place eating with my 4 year old toddler and 12&13 year old children . This is a good Subway. Everything is fresh and they don't run out of stuff. Full service, as opposed to a "gas station" Subway, with a nice atmosphere (if you ignore the fact you're sitting in a Walmart). Clean and well kept. The counter help is very courteous and goes the extra mile for you. If you're looking for a Subway in Mesquite, this is the place. I gave it four stars because professional statisticians are taught to ignore the 1- and 5-star ratings, and I want my vote to count. read more

I ordered 2 customized sandwiches on line. Big mistake. I took my time and double checked everything. When I picked them up I was so upset. They put almost every veggie on the sandwiches. When I asked them to remake my order they said NO. I asked if I could cancel the order they said NO. The subs had to be picked apart. Then they were so soggy, cold and just awful. I don't ever review fast food, but this subway has great customer service. The service has been fast, consistent and quality. It's more expensive and slower than nearby Taco Bell or Jack in the Box, but worth it to get some vegetables and not feel sluggish after eating. read more

Horrible service out of product and staff asks is that okay when they don't have the bread or cheese you want. No it's not okay you need to bake more bread corporate or Walmart needs to rectify the situation ASAP. Waited 30 minutes on a Friday night and they are way under staffed with only 2 people who kept mixing up sandwiches and Sara kept rudely interrupting me when I'm talking. read more

The sandwiches here are good! The servers were very nice and helpful. The sandwich maker did everything right on our subs. I really don't get some of the bad reviews. We have not had bad service and our subs always come out the way we want. read more
