There has always been great food and fast service. Much better than Sub..y. Their bread is fantastic. We always get the Turkey Avocado.

We were looking for a snack during our drive from Zion to Las Vegas, and found this bakery right…read moreoff the highway. We decided on the sugar cookie, brown butter chocolate chip, peanut butter, and a bear claw. The cookies were all amazing- soft, just baked, and so flavorful. They were also huge. The bear claw was also really good with a nice almond flavor. If you're taking that drive or live in the area, I definitely recommend popping in for a snack to go.

I honestly had thought this was more of a donut shop when driving by but it in fact did not have any! It's an open kitchen/bakery, so shop in the front but you can see what they are doing in the back. Not pictured (my fault!) were the bagel sandwiches made to order in which my party got two. I chose to have egg and bacon on a jalapeño bagel but there is also a plain and I believe sesame option. My kids got the macaroons and cake balls. We also got a cinnamon roll - I was sad it was not warmed for us but also I did not ask so that may be an option? It was soft and delicious however. And my dad snagged some day old oatmeal cookies on their 50% off rack. They had fresh bread loves ranging from $10-12 as well on their rack. They had some very good looking pastries however that we did not get. Puff pastry and cream swan and sweet empanadas filled with raisin and blueberries respectively. When passing through Mesquite in the future I'll be sure to stop in again

I got dirctions from the Yelp app and was soon at the golf club. The restaurant is quite nice. There is patio dining and great views of the fairway(s). After looking over hte menu, I ordered the chili verde omelette. The omelette has Pork chile verde, pepperjack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, topped with pepperjack cheese and chile verde. The sour cream and guacamole are in small cups so you can use what you want. You have a choice of toast. I got rye toast. Butter for the toast is served separately in small plastic containers for those who want dry toast. The omelette also comes with some hash browns. I was served coffee shortly after I was seated and it was refilled once and I was asked about a second refill. It was a wonderful breakfast and made my drive to Mesquite a tasty place. The Grille gets 5 stars especially for the service. My server, Jessica, was delightful and so pleasant. I'm not in Mesquite often, but I would stop here another time for a meal.

We were disappointed as we had heard great things about this restaurant but will give it another try. In the pictures the wings were photogenic but were hard to chew.

Just as described o.n menu and portions just right. The service wasn't the best, we had to ask for our coffee to be refilled and the server forgot my toast. We had to flag down someone for both the coffee refill and to ask for my toast. The diner was not busy and I am disappointed that the server was not attentive. You know normally guest are served and then the server checks back after a few minutes to see if you need anything else. Well not the case here.

They replaced the meal, but that should never have made it out of the kitchen. On my most recent visit, I ordered a roast beef sandwich. The meat had a strange sticky texture, that I later noticed after 55% completed and later that day I developed severe stomach pain and digestive issues. I hadn't eaten anything else that day, so I was very concerned. To make matters worse, communication with several staff members was difficult because of the language barrier. I had trouble explaining my order and asking questions, which only added to the frustration. A restaurant that's built around the image of a classic American 1950s diner should deliver good food, good service, and clear communication with its customers. Unfortunately, my experiences have fallen well short of that. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

Is it just our working staff that takes these jobs, or is it the owners of these establishments that don't train people write, or even care to police their work ethics, after they hire them for the jobs??? Went to this subway, ordered what we always do, the Italian BMT, Footlongs. 3 guys working behind the counter, I'd say age 23, or so. Looked like they hadn't showered in days, and the one helping us looked like he just came from a week binger or on drugs. This guy wasn't even making eye contact with us, when he started to make the sandwiches, he just had his head turned, talking to one of the other guys. Well, as he started to pick up the meats first, to place on the sub, he just picked up the salami, then pepperoni, and threw it in two clumps, on the bread. We waited for him to spread it out, and when he moved onto the cheese request, we asked him if he was going to spread the meats out over the bread, and he just looked at us and stared, as if we asked him to do something that was illegal........... Well, you can imagine how the whole rest of it was with him, building our sandwiches. I felt like we had to watch, so he wouldn't spit on them or something. Then everything else we asked for like cookies and drinks was a inconvenience for him. This guy, and basically the whole staff there that day, shouldn't be working for anyone. Where are the cameras so that owners can see whats going on. I'd be watching my backside in the parking lot from this guy. This guy needs to go back to "Subway Sandwich School" put in first row, with a Dunce Cap on his head. Believe me, this job is as far as this guy will go in life. Such a shame.
